I cant seem to respond to the owners response to my review so I will put my response here.....it here. What she said is NOT TRUE! I arrived at the facility within the allotted time, 12:39 (9 min past my 12:30 appointment). I was stuck in road work on E. Bidwell and had to sit through three lights. When I walked in the girl behind the desk said it was 12:40! The owner is now saying it was 12:41 which it was NOT according to my iPhone. Even of that was the case, 2 minutes makes that much difference that you turn a customer away and arent even nice about it. I asked to speak to the manage and this very unfriendly clerk said no, shes busy. She made no attempt to accommodate me. I guess they arent hurting for business but this is not the way I want to be treated as a customer that has been there many times. In addition....The quality of services is terrible anyway. Good luck if you go there. I read another profile where the customers skin was ripped off. I had that happen as well and I had scabs on my forehead for weeks. Why I went back Ill never know.They are unprofessional and the quality is poor. I am a busy professional . If I treated my clients like that, I wouldnt have a practice.I addition....Ive been cancelled several times because someone wasnt able to make it or they had quit. No surprise that I had three different people I saw quit. Its a revolving door there. Having someone new all the time ruined my brows but I kept trying. My patience has run out. Ill find somewhere else to take my business.

I had the most AMAZING service from Becca! My browser were on point, and my Brazilian didnt hurt! Lol! The support staff and management were extremely helpful in answering all of my questions. My appointment was right on time! I DEFINITELY recommend anyone this location to all if my friends!

I got my brows done here. Theyre great, I was a few minutes late and they still took me. Next time these weeds need to be whacked Ill definitely go again.

Not my usual wax place but while on vacation in Folsom California I decided to pop in and they were right on schedule my wax specialist was very polite and the service was awesome. If Im ever in town again I would definitely pick this location.

They are really expensive and their late policy is a joke. I went their for over a year. Drove at a minimum of 40 minutes to get there. Some waxers are better than others. I wish they had some sort of team aspect. Its like a free for all there.

My daughter came home with burns under her eyebrows and uneven brows as well. I spoke with the manager and asked for a refund of that service and the other 4 we had pre-paid for. She tried to find reasons to blame my daughter rather than Becca, the waxer. She said she could refund 2 services, but I had purchased 9 with 3 free so the remaining services had no value. Clearly, you get what you pay for at EWC - NOTHING!! You can see pictures of the injury on Yelp.

The center is clean and modern looking. The employees there are friendly and pleasant to deal with. I have used several technicians there and have been happy with the services. The packages seem to be the best value of you are going continue to go. You can split up the package payments or pay all at once so there are options. The products are excellent to use after the services and occasionally there are specials when you can stock up. If youre going to the Folsom location ask for Cherise, she is good,fast and makes the process comfortable.

Alright, I would use the term convenient to best describe this place. If you want luxury spa service this is not it. If you object to quick service (they pack em in!) this might not be it. What I like is that there will usually be availability when you want it if you book at least a few days to a week ahead. If youre a hairy beast (it happens) ask them to book a longer apt so youre not as rushed. If you want to wax regularly check out the Wax Passes for savings and Unlimited for less worry about whether they got every hair (just come back sooner if you want). They have a 5 day policy where you can go back for a touch up if they missed a spot - not as convenient, but let them fix it! It happens! I dont like that they have staff turnover but its a reality. Find a waxer you like and as a repeat client I feel like you get better and more consistent service. I havent done facial waxing but I do underarms and lady parts.

I was offered a 1/2 price on my first visit to this store. The play was very clean. The staff were friendly and courteous.The girl that did my first ever professional Brazilian wax was caring. Cheerful and explained everything as she was working on it. She kept asking if I was comfortable even with my large size it wasnt an issue.I know how awful it was when I wax my self, ouch!!!But she used hard wax and short strokes that felt about the same as chin hair removal!No screams. Chirps or tears..lol!!She made it look and feel 50x better then I could ever do. Why didnt I do this sooner!?!No more strip ripping for me! My visit was last Saturday. I Highly recommend, and will be returning to this store. I wish I could remember the girls name that did my session.

The below incident happened 2 years Ago, my recent visit to this place was excellent and Both the Front Desk staff and the wax specialists were friendly and great! So changing my review to 5 stars.The only reason I am giving them 3 stars is because of their unreasonable 9 min late policy....I was 9 min late this one time ( I have been going there for 4 years) because of all the road work and it was really busy at all the signals...when I stepped in it just turned 4:40 and the lady said unfortunately you stepped in at the 10th min and we have to reschedule...Thankfully the next slot was empty...but the tone was rude and you can be considerate if it is 1 or two min....On the other hand when I am on time, I always wait 6-7min for the wax specialist to show up.. Otherwise I have never had issues with the wax specialists....they are a friendly and do a great job.

I had been going to this wax place for 2 years. Of the 2 years I had only been late twice. The second time being this weekend. They have a 9 minute late policy and I was 5 minutes late and called them to let them know I was 2 minutes away and the lady at the desk told me that was passed their time and cancelled my appointment and told me I would be considered a walk in customer and could not be seen until 315pm it was 1045am at the time or she could reschedule my appointment for another time. After being a loyal customer for so long then being bullied around on the phone because I was 7 minutes late is a little ridiculous to me. I love the wax stylist I had but after the customer service I will not be going there anymore.

The front desk here is incredibly rude. I was 1 minute past the nine minute late marker for my appointment and despite the fact that I called in advance to let them know that I would be late due to horrible traffic they still refused to see me when I had just driven 40 minutes to get there. Beyond this the front desk was unempathetic and incredibly terse. I would say only go here if you have no other option.

I am so disappointed with the service I received. Had an appointment for a Brazilian wax and left with not even my entire bikini line waxed. When I spoke with the manager about getting my money refunded she stated that I would not receive a refund because I did get a bikini wax. I had to come home and finish the wax myself. There was large amounts of hair left. I have never had a worse bikini wax in my life.

It was extremely easy making an appointment, but theres a lot of pressure to purchase their merchendice on top of the over priced services that they offer. The environment was more like a medical office than a spa treatment. It was almost too fast, to the point where it was traumatizing.

The girl who did my wax was very unfriendly, her work was unprofessional and she left hair here and there and my overall experience was really bad .. the wax they use end up breaking hair more than taking it off! It doesnt feel smooth at all after!! I end up using the tweezer after I went back home to take off what they left! Shame on you!I wont be back!

Was a first time customer and wasnt even offered their complementary free wax, only $5 off if I gave them ID. Not a great experience either as the girl who worked with me expected me to keep up a conversation, asking me constantly if I was ok; well, I told you Im trying to concentrate on not screaming and that the lights are surgically bright and worsening the migraine I have. If youre going to pretend to care about your client be smart and try to accommodate them instead of relishing in their discomfort.Like others have experienced, the staff is a hit or miss. I dont feel that $45 justifies a simple facial wax, especially considering most places charge half that plus keep their lights dim and know how to converse with a customer without expecting them to keep the waxer entertained.

Girlfriend got a brazillian wax here and she was just about as hairy directly afterward. Not sure what they are doin here but definitely not doin it right.

Been going to this place for years, the customer service is usually great and the waxing is usually great. Sometimes, however, there can be frustrating experiences where waxers dont listen to what you ask for or the managers are rude. Hit and miss.
