Walked in on a Friday morning around 10 am. We were acknowledged immediately even though all 3 employees had customers in their chair. They were all very friendly while being professional. All the customers looked extremely happy when they were done too. I would gladly drive the 30 minutes here every time.

Ive been going here about 2 years now, and for great reason. Not only do they have the Fade Master, Ace (he can fade an apple into an orange,) but their atmosphere is awesome. I have finally found a place that feels like an old timey barbershop, where they focus on giving you the best experience you can possibly have getting your hair cut. They always have Elvis or other music from the 50s-70s playing, they treat you like family, and you will always laugh when youre speaking with any of the super friendly barbers. 10/5 Highly Recommended

I gotta say, these folks are true professionals. They did my hair twice now and each time it’s been exactly how I asked them to do it. Mr. Dwight also does an amazing job with taking care of my beard, truly went above and beyond, they’ve provided the best experience I’ve had at any high end barber shop for very fair and affordable pricing. Would recommend to anyone over any fancy barber shop or even any basic chain like sports or great clips. Worth the stop every time

Came here a while back and was the best choice I made, been meaning to write this review but just have been so held up. Love this place. I wanted to find a barber shop to take my groomsmen to for a cut/shave. I called back n time who agreed to open their doors early to accommodate us. Not only that, but they brought breakfast tacos and drinks. It was a great experience at a true gem of a barbershop. Its basically a barber museum. This is the real deal

Approximately 2 weeks ago I contacted Back N Time in Flower mound to make an appointment, a nice woman who answered the phone said they only take walk-ins. However, when I mentioned that it was part of an anniversary gift she passed the phone to Mr. Ace. Before making an appointment with him, he gave me a brief overview of their services. The appointment was made with Mr. Ace for Friday, March 5 at 4:30 p.m. I asked if I could pay him over the phone that day but was told I could take care of it after the services. Before ending our conversation he gave me his contact number. So, one day before the appointment I contacted him to confirm. He thanked me for it. Then on the day of the appointment, Mr. Ace was not in the shop. A colleague of his contacts him to let him know that his 4:30 appointment has arrived. The nice lady who contacted him mentioned that Mr. Ace was not coming in, that my husband could see whoever is working at this time, including her, but she was not able to do a shave, and the barber who was able to do it was occupied. So, I phoned Mr. Ace to get clarification about what happened with the appointment. In summary, he told me that he had no idea that I had scheduled the appointment with him. I asked him with whom did you think I was making the appointment? He mentioned again that he had no idea and didnt understand why with him since he had never seen my husband. Now you tell me what does this has to do with anything? And why did he give his (personal) number? I have the shop number. Im not sure what happened with the connection but before our conversation ended he told me he didnt have time to discuss it and that he was the owner of the barbershop. This time he was rude. As an owner, you expect better customer service hopefully he will sharpen/shave his customer service skills soon.Unfortunately, this event doesn’t help the fact that part of the anniversary gift was ruined. The reason for giving it one star was ambiance looked cool

I took my 17 year old head for the first time last week. We were getting his Senior Pictures taken and needed to correct a horrendous cut he previously had gotten elsewhere that was growing out weird. He landed in Mr.Chucks chair and what can I say..Chuck was amazing!! Not only did he fix my sons hair, but I decided to splurge and treat him to his first professional shave (old fashioned style!). My son left that 1.5 hour pampering session so relaxed and happy. I dont know what he and Chuck were talking about, but my son is now a fan and has found his permanent hair cut place! I highly recommend this barber shop!!

I walk in showing the barber the kind of cut I wanted. Not only did I walk out with something completely different but it was a HORRIBLE haircut. The guy obviously had no clue what he was even doing. He was talking the whole time and barely cutting while he was talking. Not only that BUT he had to ask the lady next to him if it looked good. She then comes over to try and fix his mess as best she could. So yes, I paid the guy but WTH is this guy doing in the barber shop if he needs help from people around him? I dont remember his name but hes in the 2nd to last chair near the back. Im guessing theyll just hire on people that rent that spot. I dont see this guy lasting there very long. Oh.... another thing... he freaking shaved off my eyebrows. I had to go get my hair fixed immediately afterwards.

The barbers at Back N Time Barbershop go above and beyond to help with all your customer service needs. They do straight razor shaves, cuts for the kids, shine your shoes up while you wait, they offer cold drinks and snacks. The place is filled with cool antiques to keep the old school feel and look of the old time barbershop alive. Dont forget to pick up your Suavacito hair products when you stop in.

Back in time antique barber shop puts the personal back in personal grooming. The people here take their time with your haircut / shaving needs and really focus on what you want as opposed to the $10 quickie places that just turn out mediocre haircuts. Ace is amazing I would definitely ask for him but everyone there is good and youll notice that there are a lot of regulars who are there because of the great job. If you care about your appearance and want some professional grooming you have to go by this place. As an added bonus when youre done you can go eat at Morning Addition which is 3 doors down

We took a gamble on this shop as my 10 year old nephew desperately needed his hair cut before school resumed. It was a wonderful decision! Chuck was so patient with him and the whole atmosphere was very relaxed and comfortable. We left very happy, my nephew looks great and he cant wait to go back again!

We took 3 young boys for cuts and loved it- they did great with our youngest who is also evidently certain he can feel his hair being cut 🤣🤦🏻‍♀️

My wife made an appointment with Ace (the Owner) for a surprise gift to me on our 25th Anniversary. When we arrived he was not there. She called him and he got belligerent with her on the phone, stating he was the owner and he didnt even know me so why would he make an appointment to see me. Im not a barber, but that makes no sense to me. Do you know all your clients prior to servicing them? I couldnt give two $#!^s if he trimmed my beard or not but my wife was devastated because this was her gift to me for our Anniversary. The guy was very unprofessional in his handling of the situation and I wouldnt piss on his barber shop if it was on fire. You do what you want but for me, this place is a no go.

This place is back to the future, I mean to the *past* shop is clean, with real barbers who will use raizer blades and shave cream. You will enjoy coming to this place for a real haircut fix, or beard touch

The level of detailing that they go into with every customer is something I had not witnessed ever before.A haircut for $25 and a beard trim for $25 was worth it.The staff is patient, friendly, and jovial with all their customers.I would take away 0.5 from the 5 stars just for cleanliness (more so, as my expectations are super high).I prefer to go back there again to avail their services.

This place was freaking awesome. I have been looking for someone that could do a decent military flat top. Dawn not only gave me a perfect military flat top but a excellent straight razor shave. Been meaning to come here for a hot minute since I kept hearing good stuff about this place. Sure enough I got an amazing experience and of course, a super fresh cut thanks to Ace. I had been struggling to find a good place to get a haircut that could replicate my favorite haircut I ever got (from a place I cant go to anymore) and was worried I never would. I should have known to go here because as soon as I showed Ace the photo he instantly knew what I was looking for and cut it precisely like the photo with my favorite cut, if not better. Haircuts are something I usually dread for a number of reasons but I didnt have to worry about any of those. I will definitely be coming back.

Today I came into Back in Time Barber Shop in Flower Mound, I was greeted by Melissa who put sheers and a comb to my messy hair and made it look amazing!! Melissa takes her time and makes sure everything is perfect before you leave her chair. After the stellar haircut, I moved over to Aces chair who took great care of my beard! Everything looks great and I am very impressed with this shop. If you are looking for a great cut or beard trim, this place is a must try! They have a new lifetime customer in me.

I have been using the Back-N-Time Barber Shop in Flower Mound for at least the past 17 years. I have never a bad haircut. Always friendly and professional service. I get a Haircut and beard trim about every 6-8 weeks. I highly recommend this business. Father & Son businesses are so hard to come by these days especially ones that are a successful as these men. I pray that they have many more years of service the Flower Mound area.

I love getting my haircut here. Ace does me justice every time I walk through the door! I moved to Flower Mound at the beginning of August 2018 and have been coming here ever since. There’s always great music playing and the environment feels vintage. Everyone here really makes you feel like you’re a part of their family. I couldn’t offer any higher praise for a barber shop. You might think that you cant get a womens cut at a Barber Shop but YES you can! shes not only amazing with my husbands hair and shave, but also with MINE! Dawn is great! Great haircut and beard shave! Highly recommend. Unlike other barbers I’ve been to, she takes her time and doesn’t rush you out the door. Best shave I’ve had. My brother told me about this place and could not say enough about Trace. Ive been there twice now. Had my hair cut and beard trimmed by two different barbers and was happy with both. This place is great drove from Tulsa Oklahoma to get a haircut. Not really in town with family. The atmosphere is up lifting the barbers were joking around with the customers. I will be back to this old style barbershop it was nice that there were no foo foo b.s. just a cut and a shave.

Always a great haircut no matter who gets the job. Relax get a soda pop or water while you wait even had some peppermints so my dragon breath didn’t get them off their game. Definitely give it a try if you need a cut.

Their prices are far more than reasonable. Best in town, really. They are family owned, polite, and good natured kind of barber shop. They are more than just friendly. They treat the customer as family. And you can just get a straight razor shave with a walk-in. No appointment needed, though they do likely help. This military fella will be returning next time Im on leave in the area.

We found this place about a year ago. We love coming here. We always get star treatment. Melissa always does a great job on my sons hair. We love the old shop feel and do not have to worry about bringing the whole family in.

Very nice traditional barber shop. The furniture is really backntime, which I like. The haircut I received was very professional, well done! Also includes wet shaving of the neck, which a lot of other places dont do anymore. The staff is friendly, and prices are fair. Ill definitely be back!

My 3 year old doesn’t like haircuts, but they were quick and his hair looks great! Ace talked to my son the entire time and brought the dog from the back to keep him entertained. It took about 10 minutes for the cut, thank you!

This place is the best. Its a real throw back barber shop and not just a collection of hacks. I go every few weeks for a hair cut and a straight razor shave to shape my beard. Ive never left unhappy. Ace 4 is who I typically see but Ive been to all of them at some point and they all do a really good job. The best thing about it is the atmosphere though. I hate going to fancy salons so this place is perfect.

The ambiance was cool but the Barber wasnt very talkative and cut my hair too short. Basically did the Suburban soccer dad run the clippers at a 3 all over when it wasnt at all what I asked for. Not sure if Ill be back when it grows back to what I want

I went for the first time on Saturday and was taken in right away by David. He was meticulous in giving me a high-and-tight. The skin fade was solid and came up real high - just how I like it. The atmosphere is relaxing and nostalgic. As for skin and hair products? Knock yourself out. Back-N-Time carries the old school brands.

Back-N-time barber shop is one of the only barber shops I feel comfortable coming too in my area. Other shops have barbers that, I feel, don’t actually know how to cut hair and only look at a board with numbers and make you choose a predetermined haircut. At back-n-time, I feel confident when I walk outside that my hair has been cut the way I wanted it, without someone else’s spin on it.

I took my six year old and four year old here for some big kid haircuts and they did an awesome job. They had free snacks too, which was a big hit with the kids.

They really do a clean cut job and listen to your concerns! They have free snacks and drinks as well. Definitely a hidden gem in Flower Mound. Theyre family friendly and specialize in mens and kids haircuts. I HIGHLY recommend them.

My Barber was, Chuck. I experienced great customer service, I could tell he values his work. Shortly before I was done, my son had fallen and hit his head. Chuck went above and beyond to help my son.
