These guys are the best. Always very professional, get the job done fast and at a reasonable cost. And the actual mechanic working on your vehicle calls to update you and talk over your options before they do the work. I have been back to them for various issues time and again over the years and have been impressed every single time. Absolutely the best shop in the area. Its a relief to know that if anything goes wrong on my or my wifes vehicles, Ronsick will take care of us.

The shop is always clean, easy to make an appointment and very honest. They will not try to fix something if you do not need it. We have been going here for over 20 years.

Went there yesterday to drop my car off on what seemed to be a major problem, and Rob, one of the service techs told me that it wasn’t as big as I thought it was and he wasn’t going to charge me any extra. They are not like other shops where they will take their time just to get more money. I am more than satisfied with their service and will definitely be going back and referring them to others.

I own a 2014 Jeep Cherokee. The drivers side window switch stopped operating the front windows and power locks. I bought a switch at ORileys and installed it. The part worked for a couple months and stopped again. I returned it and the same thing happened. I replaced it 4 times with the ORileys part. I took my car to Ronsicks to see what the problem was and they confirmed that the after market part wouldnt work and that I needed an original part from Jeep. I was charged $125 for this information. They told me the total to fix the problem would be $428 altogether and the price for the part was $258. I contacted the local Jeep dealership and they have the part for $150. I called Ronsicks and asked if I could purchase the part at the dealership and have them install. I was told that I would have to pay and ADDITIONAL $75 for this. Each time the switch was changed I watched and it literally took less than 5 minutes. I understand that they have a business to run and profits to make but this is absolutely ridiculous. The manager did reach out to me regarding my experience and I told him everything I said here. He explained their profit margin and mark ups but its still a rip off at the end of the day. I wouldnt recommend them to anyone.

Had my car in for state inspection and emission, I needed rear brakes to pass, gave me a written estimate on cost. Took about hour and half to get brakes on. Not bad, since they needed to get parts delivered. They stuck to the estimate, performed excellent work. They had good protocols set up to keep everyone safe.Overall I was very satisfied with them. I plan to use them in the future for any work I need. Support our local businesses, keep jobs and good work where you need it, close to home.

I have been a longtime customer of Ronsicks because thats where my father took our cars growing up. When my son had an issue with his Altima, I suggested we take it there as well. My son was quoted a price for a diagnostic check. Once the diagnostic was completed, my son decided not to get the vehicle repaired due to the cost. When he picked up his vehicle, he was quoted a different price which was about three times higher. When they called my son to let him know that it would longer, the technician did not say that it would cost more money. When we tried to explain our position we were basically told that it was impossible for the technician to have made a mistake and not told my son that it would be extra money. Which did not happen. I ask for and expect transparency in pricing.

The Best Car Experts Ever!

I tried to use them to get some work done on my 2009 Volkswagen Routan and was turned away. The weird part is I called first and they said they could fix my problem, but when I got up there they had a different attitude. I was told they didn’t work on foreign vehicles, although I have an American motor in it. I feel a little discriminated against.Margo

Ronsicks has excellent customer service! They always service my car well and they keep me in the loop about what is going on with it. I have an old beater for a car and cant afford a new one so the fact that they keep it running well and at an affordable price means a lot to me. I also like that they keep in contact with me via text and that I can make appointments online, its very convenient. Whenever my car needs work I always take it to Ronsicks!

This my second interaction with my neighborhood auto maintenance and tire service! The first time was to what I thought was a slow leak in my front tire. It turned out to be the e tire tire needed to be sealed. It was explained that in an area with snow and ice salt tends to get wear the tire causing sone separation over time so they sealed it! Great! Two weeks later I needed to put air in the tire and took it back. I asked if they could check to see if I had enough air in it and if I needed to order two front tires. Explaining my son works for a dealership abs would ship them to me.I believe it was Ray (front desk checkin) who came out to check - he started checking other tires abs I told him the others were fine it was just the front passenger! He said he wanted to be sure they were all okay! When he cane back he told me not only did I bed 2 tires but to tell my son to send me 4 the others were dry rotting! This is a used 2016 Cadillac XTS that came from Minnesota which Mayes so much sense about the salt! Well my son sent me the tires!I made an appointment - I was dropped off at hone abs 3 hours later was picked up to get my car! Talk about excellent customer service! Very professional staff - impressive facility and everyone that I encountered is there to help! I’m the type of person that ONLY takes my car to the dealership - but after dealing with Ronsic’s - a few blocks from my hone - they are now my go to place to service and maintain my vehicle!To top it off - the owner Steve reached out to me 4 days after my service to inquire if everything was satisfactory! I’m impressed abs will be shredding the word! Thanks so much!

Very good service

My first time using them. My dealership was booked. I had my car towed to Ronsicks on a Saturday morning and had my car back by early afternoon. Quick, professional and accommodating.

Ronsick is a trusted auto repair shop in the Florissant area. I took my Grand Cherokee there for multiple services. One technician was even so blatantly honest that he told me I should take the vehicle back to the dealer for an extensive repair needed because the work was very intricate. That was UNBELIEVABLE to me. Most places will try to fix it then charge you more for what they broke, rather than just being honest. I appreciate that. They also send coupons for loyal customers and Steve, the owner, checks in with you after the repairs to make sure they got it right. This may very well be the one place left in Florissant, that believes in good customer service!

I didn’t “hate” this place, despite what Google says whenever people (including me) rate something one-star. They just didn’t have the product I needed when I needed it.

Came in for a wheel alignment only because a coworker said they came here and the shop I normally go to was booked up. Worst mistake I’ve made in a while. The tech tried to convince me that I needed $1,300 in suspension work on a truck that had passed inspection two weeks ago and one of the items he listed was replaced earlier this year. When I said no way the tech started negotiating with me. “Well we may be able to do it with just...” I said no if it’s bad how would that be a option so he take my key to the front and they charge me $37.50 to get my keys back when I complained he said the tech needs to be paid with this trump up estimate total rip off got my alignment done same day elsewhere. If you’re a auto motive novice don’t go here you’ll be taken for all they can get.

I was a new customer at Ronsick’s Auto Care on Saturday October 27. Went to shop for an inspection. They were very professional allowed me to see that I had a leak in my radiator cap. They searched around for the cheapest part and only charge me a low-cost rate for labor. Hands-down it was the best customer service that I have ever seen from an auto parts repair shop. They also called me a couple of days later to see if my car was working properly a text message from the owner Steve. I only wish all places provided this type of customer service. The staff was so kind and got me in right away. Brian was so great about communicating with me and letting me know what was going on. Needed brake work done and an oil change. After they checked everything out, mechanic was Micheal, he knew I was not going to like the price. But he worked with me, so I could be taken care of. He treated me like someone he knew basically. Was helpful of finding easy so save time and labor. Sure they worked hard to get it done quick. Will always go back here. Have been using them for 10 years now and so hows my girlfriend. Great people and great work. If you havent been here check them out you will love it.

The mechanics at Rosnicks have always given me great service. I never have a problem getting in at the last minute. They explain what they need to do so I can understand. (Im not mechanically inclined). They give me a price and they are right on. No surprises. I have used many different places in Florissant in my opinion they are the best.

Best shop out there

They charged me $800 to fix a catalyst converter and the next day they tell me 24 hrs later I need a new motor. I only drove about 30 mile after picking up the car from Ronsicks, I trusted them to diagnose the problem and fix whatever was wrong instead they tried to scam/deceive me.

I needed a vehicle safety and emission inspection and randomly chose Ronsick’s. I received great service. The guys there were friendly and thorough. I chose to have more work done there and their prices were fair and they went above and beyond for me. I really appreciated that extra mile. The only reason I gave 4 stars is because of their location. It is difficult to get to the entrance but I will definitely be back for any work I need done!

Highly disappointing and demeaning employee over the phone. It took a man telling me they can’t use a “magic machine” to find all of the answers since the car died after being in the shop and could give no apologies or consolation. Women beware of this shop! A big reputation to gouge customers and have no customer service. They will text for a follow-up, but it is only to ask for more business.

I’m very happy with the repair work on my truck. I’ve had no problems the several times I’ve been there. The mechanics are professional and answer any questions I had. One great thing I noticed was the respectful way they treat the elderly people who come in, to me that means a lot. Ronsick’s is a great place to bring your vehicle for repair.

I needed a wheel bearing and ball joint pressed and whoever I spoke to was rude. I will never do business with them. A wheel bearing is a standard repair but they act like its some complex procedure. I wouldnt recommend a shop that refuses to do a simple repair.

The Ronsicks staff were amazing in getting to my car quickly, walking me through the issues and recommending next steps to repair the car. The entire experience was top notch ! Ronsicks has had a very tough order with my last car. The car was in very bad shape. They were very helpful in planning the high cost of my auto repairs. They broke down the repairs into the most needed to the can wait estimates. The work they did was perfect! They spent a lot of time working on the car as well as explaining to me what was going on and how it effects other areas of the car.I just 2 days ago traded that car in and bought a much newer car but I will always go back to Ronsicks for any repairs or maintenance. They treat their customers with respect and let you know up front what the problems are. And if by chance there is a mistake somewhere, they do make it right.I would highly recommend them to anyone.
