I recently moved to Florence and I don’t know anyone. When my car stopped working I went into a panic. Everything in life seemed like it was going wrong and I had cried myself to death. When I was done I called Woodard’s and explained my situation. They fixed my car and the turnaround was faster than I thought. They were very friendly and professional, it’s hard to find good people who care, but the Woodard team really hit the mark. I thank God I called them, and also thanks to google reviews and all the good reviews. I hope my review helps someone as well.

I went in to have my rear brake rotors and pads replaced on my Volvo V70 and had the best experience ever with a repair center. I typically do my own repairs, but sometimes circumstances wont allow it and you have have someone else do it for you. From here on out, Woodwards will be my go-to place. Im not only basing this off of my own experience, but also how I saw them handle every other customer while I waited to have my work done. Absolutely the best. If youre checking out reviews trying to decide where you should take your vehicle, look no further- you found your mechanic.

Upon moving to SC l truly researched mechanic shops near my area. I was able to make an appointment with no difficulty or hassell. The atmosphere is extremely home welcoming, professional, knowledgeable and caring. They have always been able to provide me with any assistance. Even when l moved once again l continue to bring my vehicle for any maintenance required and as long as Im living in SC. Woodards Automotive Maintenance and Repairs will be the only shop Ill be taking any of my vehicles.

Ive been taking my vehicles to Jeff Woodard and his team at Woodard Automotive since 1990. Wouldnt take it any other place. Jeff is very knowledgeable and keeps up with the ever changing technology in the automotive industry. Not only that hes a very personal guy as well. His office staff (Myra and Frazier) are an extention of Jeffs character and all know very well how to take care of customers and business.

I went in for my routine oil change, and could not figure out why for 2 days prior every time I turned my car off it would have a burning smell. Upon arriving, Ricky came out to get my car and before even taking it to the back was able to locate the smell immediately just from my description. It turned out to be something very simple to fix. I was extremely impressed that he took the time to find the problem before even taking it to the back to start my routine oil change. I always go to Woodards for my oil changes even though it is a bit of a drive from me. They are always efficient and I will for sure continue to come back. Thank you Ricky for your help!

Myra and Frazier helped me out, and they were super kind and professional. I asked them to fix something I messed up myself, and they were helpful, took on a challenge that others didn’t want and were priced reasonably as well. I got my alignment and rotation done while I was there. I recommend them for sure.

Our sunroof was stuck in the open position. Took the car to two different places (and called several others) and no one could help. Someone suggested Woodards. We took the car there at 4:45pm on a Friday and, instead of turning us away, they tried to at least close the roof because it was going to rain over the weekend. Brought the car back Monday morning and they completed the repair that we couldnt find anyone to look at the week before.

My car broke down on the way to Myrtle Beach from Ohio. We had it towed to the Kia dealer, but they said it would be 2-3 weeks before they could even look at it. So we called Woodards, had it towed there, and they replaced my alternator the next day. Excellent service, friendly staff, and a clean shop.

I have had two last minute issues with my car where I needed a quick fix and both times they got me in super fast and fixed my car in no time. They are my go to auto repair when I am in Florence.

Didnt let them work on my car because they wanted to charge me $150 just to look at it, and the only reason for that charge was because I has out of state tags on car.

After making an appointment to bring my vehicle, I was called with an estimate and a time frame of the following week before they could actually fix the vehicle. They can diagnose and charge $140 expediently, actual repairs are another story......follow up, I had the very same repair made elsewhere two days later, within two hours, for just over half to price. They kept my truck 3 wks there never fixed the problem woodards had my a wk fix the problem also redoing 5 star nissan mess for a fraction of the cost. Woodards is a local automotive repair shop on Palmetto street in Florence. They are the usual place to go for my Dads Audi A4 (2008) since Blacks Tire couldnt fix the common problem with that model. They also looked at my 2003 Toyota 4runner. Great service 👌

Jeff and his team are amazing. I went in for a routine oil change and my check engine light was on. They were able to put on machine and find out exactly what was causing the check engine light to be on. They were very nice and helpful with the entire process.

Recent electrical problem with my sons car was driving us crazy but didnt know an honest mechanic in Florence until Blacks Tire Service recommended Woodards Automotive....they took the car and stayed in touch as diagnostics were performed and repair estimates went up and down.....I almost ran out of funds and on the verge of giving up when Woodards went the EXTRA MILE and found a short that was still causing the problem so when Frazier called and said that not only was the car repaired...the bill was now Several Hundred Dollars LESS than the last estimate....Out of 5 stars, I would give 10 for Honesty, Integrity and the Knowhow to get the job done.

Frazier and the staff were professional and courteous. They were willing to take care of all needs including working with Florence Lock and Key to finish work on our car.

I was traveling to see my family and my car broke down. Based on reviews i stopped here and the staff was amazing. I explained that i was traveling, and they were able to fix my car and get me back on the road. They were friendly and even offered to take me to the mall until my car was fixed!!!

Dropped my truck off to be diagnosed and repaired. Very nice staff. Said they would keep me informed on progress.

The great friendly staff helped me with my jeep to get it running and back on the road again and were very specific about what was wrong. Also they fixed my jeep in a very timely manner i would recommend woodards to everyone.

My service with them was terrible. I called and got an appointment for Monday 1/30/17. I was told it would cost a $100 to diagnose the problem. I explain that I knew what the problem was, I had a timing chain replaced and it was off and it needed an adjustment. I went there on 1/30/17 at 9am and gave the receptionist all the information about what it was doing, what things I had done on the car concerning the issue, and what the computer was reading out and she wrote it down. The receptionist called me back around 2pm and she said that the issue was the timing chain. I was like duh, I know that... I told you that. So, I asked how much will it cost to correct the problem and this lady said oh I didnt know you wanted us to fix it. Im like that is what I brought it there for. She said let me ask the mechanic and I will call you back. An hour and 25 minutes later she said the mechanic said you need a new engine since you replace the timing chain, head gaskets and valves and it didnt work. I asked did they take it apart? She said no and I said well how do they know I need a new engine. Of course it is giving the readings I told you because the timing chain is not aligned correctly. When I got there they still charged me a $100 for something that I told them and they only put it on the computer to give me the same reading I already knew about. When I crank my SUV it sounded horrible and it didnt sound like that when I took it there. I went back inside with my husband and they claimed they didnt take anything apart and it sound like that when they cranked it but not as bad. I will never ever ever give them my business or refer them to anyone not even my enemy. It was a waste of time and a rip off. They could have told me that they do not work on a timing chain that has been placed by another mechanic when I called thus saving me a $100.

I had to bring my car in for another problem and the staff still were so nice. I have been to other places that are great the first time and then not so much the next time. Not this place! Everytime I have a great experience. The staff and owner are so friendly and never get frustrated with my questions. I hate when my car messes up but at least I know where to go to take some of the stress away. They are trustworthy and knowledgeable. Thank yall for the great experience in a bad situation!!!

Excellent customer care. My car was overheating and dash lights were on. I had no idea what to do or where to begin. Woodwards not only fixed my hot mess car but they took good care of my kids and I while we awaited the new thermostat, fluids ect. I will definitely be returning in the future for all maintenance. THEY ARE AWESOME! I was stranded in Columbia, SC and had my van towed as far as I could and ended up here. They repaired parts that was supposed to be replaced here in Wilmington, NC. They were very understanding of my situation. They kept me up to date on what was going on and they were up front as honest. I mainly delt with a guy named Frazier. Please. If you need work on your vehicle, check with them. You will be glad you did.

I have a Chrysler Crossfire and have taken 3 different places and all of them said it was some type of pump. I took it to Woodards and had it checked out and it wasnt even a pump! Turned out to be a rely switch and it only cost half the price. My car runs like brand new now!!

BEST SERVICE IN TOWN!!! I tried a few other places but none of them were as nice amd welcoming. They were able to put my car on the machine and tell what was wrong, i went to another place that was unable to determine exact problem but Woodards could.

I took my mini there and had a clutch master cylinder install and took two time and they were very nice. Also had my oil changed at the same time. Just had to change my oil and took off the housing for the oil filter and they did not replace my filter...not good, not good at all.

Myra was very friendly and knowledgeable. She took the time to answer my questions and did not feel rushed. I highly recommend business.

Very helpful. Car started overheating during hospital stay. They fixed the problem and only charged a standard fee to look at it. Also provided transportation to and from the hospital. Would definitely use their services again.
