Being fairly new to the Genesee County area, this was my first visit to Medawar Jewelers. What a heartfelt impression they left on me. I took in my mothers watch to have it cleaned and the battery replaced. The watch literally stopped working the day my mom was told she would be placed in Hospice care yet she never wanted to remove it. My mom passed away 3 days later. After servicing the watch, Medawar told me there would be no charge. The TIMEX is running again, and my moms spirit lives on. THANK YOU MEDAWAR JEWELERS. GOD BLESS!

I’ve never been into Medawars in Flint prior to a couple months ago as I was looking for a graduation gift for myself. From that point on Ken Green the GM gave me the white glove experience through the whole watch buying process! My experience with Medawars Jewelers in Flint with Ken has been great! I live in NYC but I am here in Flint Michigan to visit family I broke a bracelet and took it in to Medawar Flint on Linden road.First all but two of the sales staff lack superior customer service skills. A friendly smile would be nice.Number two they act like this is the only game in town, nice but average Jewelry at best.I was way over charged) And when I go to pick it up the guy who usually repairs the watches waited on meHey I know it’s Mother’s Day they are busy but there is no need to be short and rude with customers.Bad enough I had to ask for a box I also had to ask for a bag, really?I’ll never shop here again and I’ll definitely tell my family and friends about my experience.

This by far has been the worst experience and I will never shop there again. Unauthorized charges started to come out of my account. Because I was informed that I would have to give my personal pin code because I was using a MasterCard which I have never had to do with any other company. I caught the account manager in a lie. I had the best service experience with Gina!!! I needed replacement screw backs for some earrings pandora beads and all sorts things to try on. She helped me create a wish list and I was able to make my other purchases with ease. She set up my ring sizing quickly. Most importantly, she didnt rush me, push anything on me and she made me feel special. She focused on me and it made me feel really good as a customer. I will be back to see her again!

Went there for a simple watch battery and time and date set ....... The parts the band slips into was missing and they never set the date on watch and the never found the missing part this place sucks do not go there for repairs

During my visit I was being assisted by Samantha. She was very patient with me while I tried to find the bracelet that I was searching for, and when i could not identify the bracelet I wanted she showed me different options. Ken took great care of me during the entire 2-month process of purchasing an engagement ring and stone and wedding band. The prices were a bit high up front, but I’ll definitely see the reward years down the road. You can’t beat this service either!Edit: My mother and I both went when I purchased the rings, and we heard the salesman say the loan plans were either 12 months interest free or 36 months at 0.99% APR. When I got the statement, it said 9.99% APR, and I contacted the salesman and got the typical “Sorry for any misunderstanding but it’s the higher price” response. Disappointed, but I’ll pay it off quickly enough that it won’t make a huge impact.

Ive been coming here for years and have yet to experience any bad service! Ive gotten a few rings resized and/or repaired here, as well as my watch serviced. The only reason why Im giving it 4/5 stars is when I came in recently I was looking to replace my old broken wedding band with a more simple one. I wear a size 13 which, while large, isnt that uncommon. They didnt have any bands in my size on hand and I was told thered be a waiting time for anything I wanted to get. Not worth it when I can log on to Amazon and get the exact same quality ring delivered to my house within a couple days. If youre looking for high quality jewelry or customer jewelry, or you want to get something serviced, I would definitely check this place out. But if youre looking for a quick swap or something simple you may be better off online or elsewhere.

I was concerned that a diamond was loose in my ring and stopped in to have it checked and cleaned. While it was being checked, my other rings were cleaned for me. I also browsed a bit and ended up leaving with a new necklace! Medawars will always be our jewelry store of choice. The service, inventory and staff are wonderful!

Very poor customer service my fiancé went in to the store to purchase a couple of items they didn’t walk him through the selections (as a real jewelry expert would ) just pick it out for him didn’t inform him that the necklace came in Multiple sizes gave us the run around now where waiting for the right size days later didn’t offer no refreshments but to other customers they did ..racist?

Dropped off my watch to be serviced, had few scratches that were annoying and it needed to be cleaned. They’re the only Rolex retailers in our area, so I really didn’t have a choice. They said it will take 7 days. I thought that was too long but since I didn’t have a choice I left it with them. After a week, I went to the store and they informed me it wasn’t done yet. I’m pretty sure they started working on it on the 7th day when I came in. Anyways, for them to be Rolex retailers and charge so much for so little was somewhat disappointing. Watch looked clean afterwards, hence the two stars.
