I have been meaning to write a review, so now is the time! I just wanted to say how AMAZING Rana & Jennifer are. These 2 are the absolute BEST! You will never find better ladies to help you out. Our family had an awful experience with another company while my fiance (now husband) was trying to get my engagement ring sized. After the sizing, my stone fell out 6 times in total. Absolutely unacceptable. After finally getting our money back we came to Zales. Previously, we always purchased our jewelry through them. However, the ring I had interest in wasnt there. By the grace of God I was able to find the most beautiful engagement ring at Zales AND have it before our wedding. Rana & Jennifer will stop at nothing to make sure you have what you need. Between my husband and our children we own several pieces. We have never had an issue and I know if we do, they will take care of us. If I could give zero stars I would. We have the diamond bond on my wedding set. Have gone in every six months like you are supposed to. They have looked us up in the computer before: today couldn’t manage and told me we were out of luck. Will never buy jewelry from big box store again. Better off giving your money to local company.

They always have a sign with their hours, but are never open. Must be out of business. Closed at 4pm, when sign says open 11 to 6. Ive had this issue with them several times. So if you have a ring that needs cleaning and inspection every 6 months, this is how they can void your warranty. Never shop Zales again.

Went to Zales tonight because we saw a couple of commercials and wanted to check them out. It is my 25th wedding anniversary and we were prepared to spend $6,000. When we get there, the lady with the medium length long hair came over and said “what are you interested in?” I asked if we could come in and look, my husband asked about the sales. The woman, looking bored, say” nothing really, we don’t have any sales” and then started talking the person behind us. She had no interest in helping us at all, so we left and took our business elsewhere.

Terrible experience. As soon as the sales person found out we werent going to be buying a 10k engagement ring she couldnt get us out of there fast enough. I asked about custom orders, my fiancee asked about many pieces. Never offered to let us look at a catalog or explained the process of ordering a ring, never said more about each ring other than the price. Kept insisting we come back in a couple weeks when they had their bridal sale, after we already stated we would be away on vacation. Went right across the walkway to Rogers and Hollands and got EXACTLY what we were looking for and were treated like people, not just a commission. Dont waste your time here unless you plan to spend a lot of money, the sales people cant be bothered with you.

Buy this at Zales Genesee 2 weeks ago. The ring was a little loose so they put a something under to tighten it up but after wearing for 24 hours we went back and resize it. The lady said it will take 2 weeks. And they will call us if its ready. Not even 2 even 2 weeks and they call us up that the ring is ready to be picked up. Weve been a Zales customer since we buy our wedding band. Good service.

Hours say 11-7. Ive come here before 6 at least 8 times and theyre closed. Today I showed up at 5:55 and the gates were closed, but 3 people were still inside. Not 1 person made eye contact, so I called. No one answered. Shut the lights off and walked out. Worst customer service everrrrrr

Should have read the reviews before I bought. Spent a sizable amount of money on an anniversary ring for my wife. Had to get sized, waited over two weeks. Apparently they had to shut down because of Covid for two days and so instead of sending my ring to another Zales location or even having the courtesy of giving me a call to let me know, they just sent it back. Now they have no idea when it’s going to be in but it’s going to be in eventually. It’s not like I dropped $100 on a suit that is getting adjusted. I bought an expensive piece of fine jewelry. Lady acted like she didn’t care. Will never shop here again

Bought a wedding band for husband before Christmas. It was the wrong size so on the 27th of December 2019 they ordered him the right size. They said 6 weeks. Waited 6 weeks, called, they said that was wrong it was going to be 8 weeks. Called in 8 weeks. They said it was wrong it would be 10 weeks. Well Its been 6 months and still no ring. I will NEVER buy from them again.

After being run around in circles by the Birch Run zales and the online customer service department for a week, the 2 ladies here were beyond amazing. I should have gotten their name. The one was the manager.They went far past anything they needed to do, to help me.I have always bought everything from zales. I was ready to never step foot in another zales again. And i probably still wont. Except this specific one.

I understand that there is alot of adjusting and changes going on with the store because of Coid-19, but when you announce you are open back up personal I think you should be more prepared. It says online for your store and on your store gates that your location opens at 11 on Saturday. I show up excited to filling get my ring cleaned and not have to stress about if you will still honor my warranty because it will be checked. I get there a bit early,10:50 to be exact, and just walk around the mall. I come back at 11:10 and see employees in there still setting up. Okay I get it you are a bit late for your opening thats fine. Come 11:35 the store is still not opened and no one will answer the phones to take my call to see what is going on. If your doors open at 11 you should be better prepared and ready to go around that time. At noon I have called a handful of times with still no answer. Even just a sorry we are behind or we arent talking walk ins or anything would do better then ignoring clients. I am really hoping you will still honor my warranty on my ring because I have made the effort and spent the time to get my ring taken care of. This is now the second time I have had a bad experience with this store, and my husband had some trouble with them before he even got my ring there. If you want and easy customer service experience, I would recommend eles where.

Purchased a $10000 engagement ring from them. Engagement didn’t work out and asked them if they would buy the ring back at 50% purchase price they said we don’t deal in used engagement rings. Talk about one sided sales. But they were happy to take it on trade if I spent twice the value on something else!!! Would never purchase from Zales again!

Dawn the manger is so helpful she was just so amazing we had issues with my wedding ring the diamonds kept falling out and she took care of us went out her way to make sure we were happy and satisfied, not to mention how the staff was also so helpful and great and offered us bottles of water!

I love going to this Zales. I dont know why the guy before this had such a problem. Does not matter how much you buy, you should know your spouses sizes and keep all your paperwork. Several stores have upgraded to a new inventory system that does not work like the old one did. About 5 to 6 months ago is when they upgraded. I had the same issue to get my wifes diamond certified. That does not make the worker incompetent. I have always worked with Dawn Rivas, she is very nice and will take her time with you. She will not push you into something you cant afford. When they are busy, someone always says they will be right with you. Several of my family shops there, and I will continue myself.

Never ever will buy anything from zales again!!! Bought my husbands wedding band here a few months before our wedding...we get married and he wore the ring for only 3 days because cutting his finger open just to wear it. It wasn’t to tight or sized wrong just a faulty ring! We go in to exchange or return the ring and it was over the 90 day period and they quoted us just $100 short of what we paid for the ring to fix the thing!! The lady in the store was completely rude about it and told me that in order to exchange the ring we had to pick out a ring that was double the original ring price and pay the difference!!! Completely obsurb I couldn’t believe what I was hearing!! I called corporate and the lady at the corporate office told me they would just go ahead and exchange the ring since it was physically hurting him and give us all the same discounts we received before as long as we picked out a ring around the same original price!! We may just have to pay the difference if the new one is over in price a bit!! So in the store they couldn’t do the exchange that day because there was no manager present in the store that day so when we came back when a manager was there she did the exchange for us and told us that she couldn’t honor the discounts we got on the original because that offer was no longer running!!! I ended having to pay and extra $400 for a ring that was only $100 over the price of the original ring!!! I’m absolutely appalled by the customer service we received in this store and we will never be back!! We will definitely be taking our business elsewhere for all future jewelry and I will make sure to spread the word about the horrible treatment we received!!

Purchased my wedding ring in November 2017. Two weeks after getting it back from being sized, a diamond fell out. Took it back to the store and waited 3 weeks to get it repaired. Dawn, the manager said if that ever happened again they would expedite the repair service. Less than 2 months later, more diamonds fell out. Took the ring back in again for the service and was told it would be 5 weeks to get it back. Fast forward to December 2018, after having to send my ring back 3 more times for the loss of diamonds, called corporate and they said they would make a new ring for me, waited...nothing. Called the end of April and was told they couldnt make the ring, but to call the store and they would replace it with a different ring, and the manager would be able to give us some discounts. Went to speak with Dawn yesterday, and was told that the corporate office lied and would tell us things that the store couldnt possibly due but we were more than welcome to look at the rings. Due to purchasing the original on Black Friday we had to look for something of the purchase price, instead of the original value. Obviously being very upset, because my ring was currently missing 4 diamonds, and she said there wasnt much in that price range, we could get a gift card and look online. I did not want to have to deal with these rude, unhelpful people anymore, and she gave us a full refund, and we have to wait for a check in the mail. So I lost a total of 10 or more diamonds, 5 separate occassions in a year and a half, and now have to find another ring somewhere else. I wouldve dealt with losing diamonds, but I wont deal with rude customer service everytime you go into the store. The only time they were nice was when there was a purchase. If they cant even get their corporate office and the store manager to agree upon a satisfied customer and making things right, then they dont deserve my business or anyone elses. If I could give them zero stars I would.

Purchased two rings here on 12/8. One ring for me and one for my girlfriend. The ring for me was several sizes too large, and the kind sales associate sized me and offered me a warranty that would make the normally $39 fee a $25 fee. I told him time was an issue, and I would need the ring back soon. He told me 7 to 10 days and I would have my ring back. A Week went by, and nothing. I called back on 12/18 and the young lady who answered the phone told me the expected return date was 12/29!Now, I understand it is the holidays and all, but couldnt they have told me they would have my ring for a month before I would get to wear it? And get this-- I received a card statement before I received the ring! Quick to send me an invoice, slow to give me the product.

My husband bought a diamond necklace for my anniversary had it 1 week and it fell off my neck. Found chain in my shirt clasp was broke diamond pendant was gone. Store told me there was nothing they could do. So i am left paying for something i dont even have. Will never shop this store again.

I made a Christmas purchase with Jennifer and the service then was great. After being told what the receiver of the gift I purchased actually wanted I had to adjust. Now the problem starts, after watching 5 employees with Management debated over who will open the Cheryls Christmas box. I was ignored with my zales bag on the counter for 5 minutes. No one addressed me only new customers coming into the store. After watching them place claims on brownies and cookies out of the box and get the FedEx packages I decided to return the bracelet. They were reluctant to speak with me and missed an opportunity for more money due to their poor service. Walmart greets people and have items that doesnt compare to zales merchandise or pricing. Thank you for helping me build a report with another jewelry store!

I bought my fiances ring online & had it shipped to this location to be picked up. They never called me to tell me it was there. Finally I called & they said it was in & that someone had tried to call me but my voicemail box was full even tho it absolutely was not full. I go to get it sized & they measure his figure & send the ring to be sized. Again no call back & its long past the time it was supposed to be in, so I called. Again they used the excuse that my inbox was full even though it wasnt. This must be their go to excuse. I pick up the ring & it is way too small for him although they themselves measured his finger in store. Now I have to send it again, wait another month, & wait for a call that will never come again Im sure.

I would never recommend this store to anyone. Especially the General Manager Dawn Rivas! I have been a Zales Customer and Card Holder for 6+ years and I will drive all the way to the Midland, MI Zales before I set foot back in the Flint location.Dawn Rivas was rude, customer service was horrible, and no one in the store even greeted or acknowledged us for the first 15 minutes of standing at the counter.On top of which, they were so incompetent and short they couldnt look up my customer history of 30+ transactions I have had with them over the years.I called the Midland, MI store to talk to Lori, the General Manager there, and she was able to find my account using the same information I gave the Genesee Valley location no problem.So needless to say, I will never return to that location and will tell my friends and family to visit other locations and businesses in the Flint area, rather than Zales, as long as management stays the same at that location.

The staff is great. The Manager was rude. Had to take my ring back 4 times do to the fact when I got it sized the inside of ring was all scuffed up, diamonds looked dulled, and there was gunk in the engraving. The lady at the counter knew they had my ring for almost 2 and a half months and told me they would give me anew ring if it was still not taken care of. Then the manager took my ring and cleaned it and buffed it out. All taken care of though there is still a scratch. They gave me the receipt back and the manager proceeds to tell me Oh there is a scratch on the receipt, do I need to buff that out too?I was angry and just laughed annoyed and left. Horrible way to speak to a costumer and to be treated after not having my engagement ring for 2 and half month.

Kyle and the manager (can’t remember her name- Kimberly or Jessica?) were both very rude and not helpful at all. Tried getting a ring repaired/resized and after taking an hour to find the purchase and leaving it with them, the ring came back repaired but not sized. They said they’d put a rush on the sizing and aimed to get it back 2 days ago and I haven’t heard anything. I also can’t seem to get anyone to answer the phone so I’ll have to drive 40 mins to see if it’s even there. I also have another ring that I wanted a regualr inspection done one but they were EXTREMELY rude in telling me they can’t find that purchase either. Shame on me for losing the paperwork, but I don’t need to have people being nasty to me that are employed as “customer service” when we pay hundreds or thousands of dollars on jewelry - and there’s never been anyone else in there when I’ve been there so they apparently don’t have many other customers to deal with! If this is now the only Zales near me I’ll be making my future purchases at a different jeweler. If the people in that store hate their jobs, there are a great deal of people looking for employment who’d probably jump at the chance.

I wouldnt even give the Zales in Genesse Valley mall a 1 star. My mom has had a ring through them for years and EVERYTIME we go there they are beyond rude. Saying snarky remarks and things under their breath. I would love to report them to their manager but when doing do i found shes rude herself. No wonder why Kays is always packed. We will certainly not be back.

Horrible experience. I found the ring that I wanted and told her my ring size. She takes it away and is busy doing something and I thought she was getting the right size for me, a few minuets later she gives me a total and had me run my card. As soon as the receipt prints she asks me of I would like the warranty and tells me it will cover the resizing of the ring, So I say no to the warranty then she says its going to be $50 to resize the ring, at this point im confused and I asked if she was out of my size, thats when she told me that they only have size7 ring in any of the styles that they have for women and it had to be resized. If I would have known this, I would gone somewhere else and its so shady that she didnt tell me until after I paid. So I tell her Im not going to pay extra for resizing and ask for a refund then she says, oh, Ill just send it in anyways for free. Now I feel like she was trying to steal from me because she really didnt have to charge me for the resize . Anyways I agreed to send it out to get it resized and then she gives me a date that is like three weeks away to come pick up the ring. the ring is beautiful, but it was way over priced I could have got it for 1/4 of the price if had more time to check around. One more thing, the ring is not stamped at all, I think the stamp was lost when they resized it, just would have liked it to be stamped. 👎👎

Preface: Like Zales. Not this store or the CSRs for the better part.Placed an order online, did ship-to store thinking i would be able to get in state to get it taht same month. I was not. I acknowledge that. However, Zales has a 15 day pickup policy before it is SUPPOSED to ship back to Zales HQ.1. Called from Mid Dec-Mid Feb and could not get through via the phone one time. Called upwards of 30 times during that time period, varying times of day to lock down. Mid Feb, with the assistance of a Zales hotline rep, we were able to get through.2. Hotline rep said he spoke with the store and since the manager was not there, they could not verify the status of the order i had shipped there.3. Called the next day, spoke with the manager (dawn), but she provided no help. She said that since I did not pick up my package in time that it would just get shipped back to zales HQ, but she had no tracking at all on the specific orders.4. Awkward, unhelpful, did not meet the 15 day timeline, (not even close), offered no support or advice.tl;dr - Just go to midland or shop online and ship to your house.
