I’m from Texas, basically new to skiing, but the staff treated me with respect and honesty. I bought an Airblaster Freedom Suit and I noticed that there was some ninja suit tag. I thought the suit I was buying was the “Ninja Suit,” but the gentleman told me that the NS was something I could buy and wear as an inner lining. I probably would have bought it, but when I asked if I would need it he told me right away, “no way, you’ll be fine in the one you have,” or something like that. I was impressed with his commitment to making sure that the customer got what they needed and nothing more. (Side note, great coffee shop across the street, which is also a bonus!)

My son purchased mittens for me as a Christmas gift. I wear wrist guards so went back to exchange. The staff was very helpful. They let me try on different sizes until I found the right one. I highly recommend this shop if you need gear in Flagstaff.

Awful service, staff. I called Ski Haus this Thursday morning and asked a few questions about their snowboard demo rent/buy, then confirmed with the lady that they close at 6pm. So I left work early to make it by 5:30pm for some buffer, driving up from Tucson. My girlfriend and I arrive at 5:35 and the woman that greeted us informs us there is a policy not to rent after 5pm, in case a large family comes in? What a lazy excuse not to work a little after closing. I explained that I had raced up here from Tucson to make it before their closing time of 6pm. She was unapologetic and told us we could probably find boards somewhere else. Also, the shop was empty! There were only workers standing around talking amongst themselves. Customer service that used to be a norm seems more and more to be a past time.

You cant expect brick and mortar to keep up with internet prices. What you can expect from these guys is good service, solid advice, and fair prices on great gear. Ive been coming here for 7 years now and we always get good stuff. If youre serious about skiing or boarding but you rent, pay the extra for their demo package and youll really enjoy your runs. This is 10x better than getting your gear on the mountain. Cant say enough good things. These guys care.

These guys are awesome! Josiah helped me out huge when I lost a ski break off the top my car. This is a real ski shop and if you have any issues w your skis or need rentals or just need some new fly gear you should come thru this haus!!

More of 3 and half stars. The store is small and confined. Checking out equipment is a bit difficult for those who do not know what they are doing, due to the unorganized order in which they help out the customers. Return process is swift and incredibly easy, also if you want to keep the equipment an extra day, you can just call it in. The equipment is kept in a good shape and this location does save time and money from renting at the Snowbowl.

Very friendly and knowledgeable staff, very quick process! We rented a board, boots, bindings, and a helmet for my first-time friend. Took less than 15 minutes. Returning after our last day on the mountain was also incredibly quick and easy, took me longer to walk to the shop from down the street! Parking is 4 (tops) spots right in front of the shop, or parallel on the street.

Ski Haus is a throwback to the classic board-shop of years past which is refreshing during the age of big box stores. The Ski Haus bros assisted me with a snowboard binding failure and got me back on course which essentially saved my ski/snowboard trip. I highly recommend this shop, can’t say enough good things about this shop. When in Flagstaff, check them out. 👍

The guys that work here are cool and helpful. The process for renting gear could have been a little bit easier. I didnt see prices posted anywhere inside the store, but maybe I just didnt see them. It about 15 minutes for someone to finally get to me. Returning everything was easy and pain free. Overall this place is pretty awesome!

This is a great business! Charity spent at least an hour fitting me and my boyfriend with ski and snowboard boots. She went out of her way to make sure that everything it properly and we walked out of the store with some great equipment at a great price. Everyone was very friend and helpful. Fantastic for ski rentals. I loved the boots! Probably the most comfortable rental boots Ive ever had. It was the green Rossingol ones. Good service--even when they were crowded I felt like they got me through quickly. Their returns are even better because they set up a table outside to do the returns. It was so quick my husband barely had time to turn the car around! Ill be renting from them again.

I was very impressed with Ski Haus customer service and their knowledge of equipment. We visited during a busy holiday weekend. They made a great effort to work together and greet each person while assisting the customers individual needs, despite the large crowd. Tommy, Jeremiah, and the rest of the gang all were a huge help and I left with a board Im very happy about and a lot of future recommendations. Ski haus is our go to in flagstaff. We’ve bought lots of gear as well as rentals over the last few years. They have excellent customer service, extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Recently they were able to fix the pull up handles on my boots that ripped out and did a great job.

The best shop if you live in Flagstaff!While they still do a ton of renting, they have the best selection and best deals on new gear in flag. Really seem to know their stuff. Often rental based shops feel like they dont know anything past their rental gear, but this squad do for sure.

Outstanding experience. This team went above and beyond in every way. First, the store was complete chaos at 8:30am with so many people trying to rent skis/snowboards for the day that they announced they were about to run out, even though they had only been open since 7am. Despite the chaos, each team member was patient, responsive and helpful. The guy at the front greeting people and answering the phone was kind, positive, and funny! Not one team member showed any sign of impatience, or being annoyed at the situation or all the questions being directed at them. Secondly, there was a bad snow storm that delayed us from getting down the mountain. We left the mountain around 5, and what is normally less than a 30 minute drive down to Ski Haus, took almost 2.5 hours! We called to let them know, and they immediately told us No rush!. They informed us there had been an accident causing the delay, and told us to drive safe as they didnt want us to get in an accident, and that we could take our time to get there and they would wait. These guys opened at 7am, and we saw the same faces when we returned our equipment at 7pm! They were just as pleasant when we returned as when we arrived in the morning. They were kind to our kids, let us use the restroom, and showed no irritability that we came in so late, or that they were still working. We had such a nice conversation with them and were asking so many questions about skiing in the area that they forgot to give us our return slip for the equipment we returned. I got a call at around 8:30pm from them because of this mix up, and they were still pleasant just asking if we were coming in tonight to return our stuff. I explained to them that we came about an hour ago, and described our conversations, and my kids, and they remembered, and were so kind and apologized for the mistake and wished us a good night. I was so impressed with this group, and their positive energy and willingness to help. They even recommended another rental shop down the road people could go to in the morning when they were running out of equipment! These guys should be commended for their professionalism, and kindness to their customers. I will go to Ski Haus first whenever we need to rent equipment, and highly recommend them to anyone looking to rent equipment for skiing at the SnoBowl in Flagstaff. Awesome guys, thank you for an amazing experience. Truly above and beyond.

A group of girlfriends and I went into the Ski Haus for some snowboard rentals and we were VERY pleasantly surprised! The customer service that we received from the moment we walked into the store till the moment that we left was outstanding! They were very patient with our lack of knowledge and made sure we had all the equipment we needed and that it fit us correctly! We will definitely be returning to the Ski Haus for our future rental needs!And one last thing... all of the Ski Haus employees are extremely attractive and the view was great the entire time we were getting fitted!!!

Thanks Steven!We were warned that Ski Haus was super-busy and not likely to get good service (for the following day on Snowbowl), but we found the opposite. Highly attentive, courteous, and good attitude to help get the snowboards into our hands quickly.One improvement to consider: we were quite familiar with the hardware setup, and really needed more specialized or customized guidance on how to best adjust for foot placement, rotation, etc. The one-size-fits all approach ended in us compromising comfort & functionality.

I would definitely recommend this place to anyone! Thank you Steven for all your help! You went above and beyond to find our sizes even though the shop was super busy! We definitely will be coming back! 😊

Extremely poor service. We were a group of 9 with kids. Josh (the owner) handled everyone else who came after us (atleast 30 people) and left us standing their to wait 45 min. We all ended up missing our ski lessons because josh would not tend to us. He was extremely friendly to the white people but displayed racism towards us. He actually even told us to leave the place and that we should have rented the day before. Do NOT rent from here!!

Sloppy!!!!!We brought our skis in with new boots for our kids because they had grown. We very clearly explained that we would like a “tune up” and that these boots are new to the skis. The tech reviewed the skis and determined which needed wax, edges, etc. He also sized one boot each to the skis to make sure they were compatible. He told us to leave one ski boot and everything word be ready, including binding adjustments. We happily paid the fee assessed for the services requested picked the up the next day. When we got to the slope the next day we found out only one of the skis had been adjusted to each boot. We had to pay the mountain to fix their mistake at a significant waste of time and money!I addressed this issue with them when I returned rental skis we also rented and their response was that they never charged me for the service so they weren’t liable. Even though I clearly outlined the services and left one boot over night for each set of skis. I really was under the impression they were providing the services requested.Manager called me to follow up to say they can’t be liable for a service they didn’t charge for.... I had no idea they weren’t charging me for this service, especially since they asked to keep one boot each over night!!!Sloppy and careless service is NOT acceptable when I’m entrusting my children in their hands...Their follow up communications have been rude and unprofessional. I’ve read several reviews for them and they are either glowing (ours would have been based on our encounter when we dropped the skis off) or terrible. The terrible ones are the result of their failure to fix and acknowledge their mistakes. In one message from them they actually thanked me for my complaint because another customer bought them a pity dinner as a result....Our vacation time is precious and I don’t want to waste my time on an immature company that won’t honor their product/service when there is an issue.

All the comments are true...great staff, low prices, and excellent equipment, but a few quick stories come to mind that demonstrate why Ski Haus is so good:1. Stopped in with my family on the way to AZ Snowbowl. We were in a rush, trying to get gear together, and one of the staff out of the blue hands us some passes for a local event...we said we couldnt accept, but he insisted. We still talk about that awesome gesture a year later!2. My daughter loves their dog and couldnt wait to pet him each time we stopped in... staff was so cool spending time with my daughter as she asked questions about their dog. Made her day!Eric

Disregard any negative reviews from me. Someone hacked into my email and posted negative things about this business- which I have never even been too. I will be utilizing their services soon as I recently got some new skis that need to be worked on. I have only heard AWESOME things about this establishment and would recommend anyone to them.

This was my first and last time renting from there. I rented skis for my sister who is 11 and did not purchase insurance because thats just a way for them to make extra money. When I returned them the guy was like Oh, you didnt purchase insurance make sure you look at those skis really good. Apparently there was an indent on the skis and they decided to charge me $5 for it. My sister is 11 and there is no way she could have done the indent while using them. When I told them that, they said we check all our skis and dont rent any with any marks but of course they cant provide proof that it wasnt there before hand. Personally I think they just did that to try to get more money out of it because I didnt purchase insurance. In addition when I called before coming in the guy promised I would be out of there within 15 minutes but I was there for 30-45 minutes. I hate businesses that make promises they cant keep just to make sure you come in!! Dont make them at all!!!

Ski Haus is among the best in the industry. I have been going here for two years straight and I highly recommend Ski Haus. They have the best staff a company could ask for. They are knowledgable and extremely personable. They essentially work for each customer as it is obvious they pride themselves in customer service. I wouldnt go anywhere else to rent or buy. A great place to rent skis when visiting Snowbowl!Prices were cheaper than I’ve seen at other ski areas. When we got to Snowbowl and saw the lines for people needing to rent, I was so glad that we decided to rent from Ski Haus. They let us pick up the skis the night before, allowing us to get one of the first chairs up the mountain. Rental and return were very easy. Everything fit well and operated perfectly, they even had helmets to rent for my kids. They’re located right on the road through town on the way to Snowbowl, so drop off was really easy. The guys working there seem to know their stuff, so overall it was a great experience.
