Love, love, love this place! Momentum aerial provides a wide variety of aerial movement classes. Open for ages 6 and up for any skill level from just starting to expanding on whatever you know! Whether youre just in it for some good exercise to preparing yourself to join Cirque du Soleil, this is the place you want to be! The classes are fun, challenging and addictive! The owners and instructors are knowledgeable, caring, and engaging!

I’ve always wanted to learn aerial arts but have always been hesitant because I don’t have what I thought was the typical body type or strength that would allow me to perform. But Joanie was Awesome! She made me feel comfortable and confident! She walked me through everything and by the end of our session, she had me doing some seriously cool moves and knew just how to pose you for some insta worthy pics!If you’ve ever thought about trying it…you SHOULD at Momentum Aerial.

I could go on and on saying wonderful things about Momentum. After watching my step daughter excel taking their silks classes for a semester, I knew I had to try it no matter how much I didn’t think I could do it. A great place with profession staff and friendly people. You build core strength and flexibility as you have fun doing the various movements. Best of all I cannot remember seeing anyone walking out of class without a smile on their face.

Momentum Aerial Arts, though just opening up in January, has instructors with years of experience and trainings, and a special community that started long before. I look forward to every week where I get to see my friends again and am so grateful for the precise progressions that the instructors help with grow with.My first silks class was with Joanie and Izzy. Above all safety tips and mental/physical support, they made aerial FUN. I felt so awkward in my first classes because I never was a dancer or gymnast; they still made me still feel welcome even thought I had no idea about toe-points or any of that other dance-term stuff.Later on I started taking classes regularly with Nikki and Heather. Both of these instructors are fantastic for helping me explore what my body is capable of. I always feel safe in class with them, which in turn helps me feel confident and graceful.If you have any reservations about trying aerial because you dont think you are strong enough, in shape enough, or dance-y enough...STOP that thinking and just drop in on a class. Momentum is supportive no matter what your starting point is. Pretty soon your starting point will be a memory, because youll have so much fun in class you wont know how much you are progressing!

I have been attending classes at Momentum since they opened. I started with Aerial Conditioning which prepared me for my first Trapeze class this summer. I love working with Morgan, Joanie, and all the other instructors! It’s such a warm and supportive environment. I love the people as much as the classes!

The aerial environment has soured in Flagstaff. Momentum seems more focused on themselves and less on providing a professional and open environment for learning. Their head staff are aggressive and tend to say some pretty negative things about the other members in the community, which does not reflect well on them at all.I highly suggest finding other, more inclusive, options for aerials.

The instructors at Momentum are amazing. They are highly skilled aerialists and are excellent at breaking down each move and engaging students at all levels. Their new studio is absolutely beautiful!

I have had nothing but an incredible experience at this studio! Wanna try pole? Silks? Trapeze? Lyra? They got it all! And theyre all professionals! The best teachers Ive ever had!! Its always a fun experience and a totally comfortable space!
