I came across this place while doing a Google search after our dryer quit working. I saw so many positive reviews I decided to give them a try. I was not disappointed! Matt was great to work with and was straight forward and honest from start to finish. He repaired my dryer at a very reasonable cost and I would highly recommend Appliance Guy for your repair or services needs!

I can’t recommend the appliance guy enough. Tom in dispatch was so courteous and friendly. Matt came the same day we called and had us up and running within two hours. He was so fast and professional. He even gave us advice on how to care for and maintain our fridge! We will be using the appliance guy for all our fixes from here on out.

I would highly recommend this appliance service. My washing machine is older and instead of trying to repair it they were honest with me stating it would be better to just buy a new machine. They were also very knowledgeable knowing the problem right away!

We were in quite a pickle when Sears hadn’t fixed our washer after 6 weeks. Luckily we called the Appliance guy and he came out the same day and fixed it. Great service. Can’t recommend enough.

Didnt have the best experience. The guy came on time, and I explained the issue (dryer has a burning smell), so he took apart the back and said it was clean. He worked so that he didnt have to disconnect the dryer vent duct connected to the wall. I said I would reconnect it after he was done if that was more convenient, it doesnt take that long, but he insisted on leaving it while he crawled/worked over it. In the end he said he couldnt find anything wrong and that new dryers have that smell when burning off residual lint. The issue is this dryer is a decade old so none of that made any sense. So I said that was fine and paid him his fee. The review is because I went to use our dryer again on a small load of clothes and found he completely smushed and dented the dryer duct vent when pushing the dryer back against the wall. Off to buy a new dryer duct vent because I couldnt get the kinks out of this one. The picture was after I pulled the dryer away from the wall a little bit.

I am so impressed. I have my washer back in action. It works like its brand new. Thank you, thank you, thank you. Your company did an incredible job. Im so happy. 🙂

Matt arrived on time, fixed my oven and I asked about a finicky burner. Normally, there is one thing that causes that problem so he tried that fix but that did not do the trick. He ordered another part and returned as promised and got the stove working brilliantly. He is very conscientious and honest, not trying to charge for work not completed or parts unused. I feel like I still owe him. I have had a few great people do work for me but none better than the Appliance Guy.

Im a property manager and Ive worked with Matt for years. Many years ago we worked at the same repair company and I know him to be a great tech and a guy with integrity. He takes great care of our tenants when we use him for appliance repair.

A good technician came to my house and fixed my washing machine. I sent an email to the owner commending the service and posing some questions about billing. I never received a response.

Refrigerator emergency, of course right after buying a ton of groceries for our family. Tom made sure we got service ASAP and Matt, our actual repairman, was outstanding! Hoping not to need help anytime soon, but bet your bottom dollar I know who Ill be calling if we do!

Had an emergency with the washing machine and couldnt get anyone else to come or return our calls. The Appliance Guy said he was booked for three days but when we explained our situation he told my wife hed call back in a little while and when he did, he said someone could be here between 4 & 6 p.m. Expecting a huge repair cost, it turned out to be something minor. Matt was very professional, pleasant, and explained everything as he worked. We wont be calling anyone else to come work on our appliances !

I called just this morning to have them check out my broken washer. Over the phone he asked me what was going on. I explained the issues, he told me what the issues meant and that I would need a new machine rather than wasting money and time trying to fix it. Then he took time advising me as to the best machines to purchase and where to buy them. He was forthright, honest and helpful, and I would definitely use them in the future!!

Good guy, but he came and told me what I already knew. When I decided I didnt want help, I was charged a fee with no warning beforehand. It would be nice to know what charges will take place before he comes out. Or at least have a website to give us an opportunity to look up prices on our own.

Thats been proven on a repair to our Bosche dishwasher, our Whirlpool dryer and our Decor stove because hes able to analyze and fix the problem right away. I am 81 years of age and Matt was one of the best repair persons I have ever used. Considering everything, he might have been THE best. My wife and I had an under the sink ice cube maker that was constantly causing problems. This pleasant man got the job done even to the extent of accessing a crawl space in our basement to place a functioning drainage tube that would accept any overflow water in the event the ice maker circulating water sump pump should fail ( it had done this before and soaked the kitchen floor.) Everything is perfect now and I would call Matt immediately should any other appliance need attending..

I was ready to buy a new fridge, as my 18 year old Amana was sounding like a Greyhound bus each time it cycled on. At the last minute I decided to call Matt to see if it was worth repairing. 10 minutes after arrival he figured out the noise was coming from a fan motor that had worn bearings. One new motor later its whisper-quiet and running like a champ. Matt is a pro...great work, leaves your house neat & tidy. I had him install a new dishwasher, too and the same quality prevails. Hes the best option in Flagstaff for appliance service, repair and installation!

After our dryer stopped heating, I called around looking for parts or someone that would test my fuses so I could finish the repairs. After explaining what was happening, he only charged me half a service call and sold me the parts I needed. Super nice about it too. Then it stopped again. Second time out and he still only charged me for half the service fee and did the trouble shooting quickly. Dryer works great now. Will always call him from now on. Knowledgeable and clearly takes pride in giving great customer service.

Matt has repaired three appliances for me and all of his work has proven to be top notch.Most recently Matt was able to diagnose and repair my oven the same day I called despite needing a part. I was impressed that he had the igniter for a 15 year old stove with him and did not need to go retrieve a part from his shop or order from a supplier.Matt is friendly, professional, and his repairs seem fairly priced.

My clothes dryer has been sitting idle for about six months after I fixed the heating element, some sort of safety switch and thermostat for my Frigidaire. I finally broke down and called an expert. I called The Appliance Guy ca. 10 am. We made an appointment for 3 pm the same day. He arrived on time. He fixed the problem with our clothes dryer, including replacing some parts and inside cleaning. He clearly explained the problem, and was generally courteous. The charge was $218; quite reasonable for prompt and efficient service. Entirely satisfied.

My dryer had stopped working, I called Matt and described the problem. Im a single mom and had no idea what to do. He actually walked me through taking my dryer apart over the phone after hours, and helped me diagnose that it was indeed my motor was burned out, and it was more cost effective to buy a new machine. I totally appreciated his honesty, as he could have charged me a lot of money to try to come out and replace my motor. He spend over 45 minutes on the phone with me for no charge. I really appreciated that this guy knew what he was doing. It wasnt just some guy with a soldering iron he legitimately knew about the odd model of stove we had, how to fix it, where to get teh parts and made it happen in no time. On top of that he was a really nice dude, we sat and bsd for a bit while he worked and then i shut up so he could finish. If your GF pours water into the control knob of your induction cooktop, call the appliance guy hell get you fixed up. :o)
