I cant recommend this place enough. Jennifer and Tom are good people. Did exactly what I wanted and then some at a great price. Ill definitely be using them in the future. Nice actually sitting down and talking with someone, dont get that a lot these days. If you know any techs in need of a job... They need help.

I needed my van looked at before we sold it. I told them what my mechanic said was wrong (but he didn’t have the equipment to fix it). They told me they were booked for the remainder of the week, but if I dropped it off they would fit us in. The next morning they called at 8am, told me what was wrong and how much it would cost. It was done by 11:30am. Jennifer was professional and answered all my lame questions. The best part is they had no idea I had already taken the van to another muffler shop and this place quoted me hundreds more. Midas sometimes gets a bad name, but this location has a customer for life!

Okay, I needed my cars brake pads because my dealer told me my brake pads are running low, So I figured, maybe I will give my local midas a shot.I called, and talked to one of the rep, and he told me sure, bring it in it will take about 4hours to do all the diagnostics and changes, it will take roughly 4 hours, so bring it in before 2,So we brought our car, to be SENT HOME, apparently, there are many cars lined up so he wants us to come back on a weekend at 8. Great 20 minutes of driving back and forth, cool, not to mad. it can happen. some people might not know their shop situation and would like to have as many customers as they can and let them wait. its the weekend, we take our car at 8, and left it there and went to do some walking outside, about an hour, no phone calls of how the diagnostics came out, So I gave them a call see if they have my number wrong. nope, they have my number and they just took it in to check it, and I get the call back at 9:45 basically telling me my car is in such a bad shape I will need I dont know how many they listed out, When I called last time before my first visit, they quoted me for 149 and from this phone call, they were about to charge 650 PER AXLE... Great, So I told them, just a brake pads please. and I hear them talking about all this oh I recommend do this that and that, or you will hear squeaks and your brakes will go bad For some people, they could think Oh these guys are taking care of my car! and telling me exactly what I need! for some people, like me, it could be just oh they want to break apart with 34k miles on.okay, so it took me about 2 hours of waiting to get my diagnostics gone which I didnt need because I knew exactly what I wanted to do.They call me about 2 hours later that the break is done, this is when I just lost all of my interest coming back to this location, as soon as I walked in, I get this looks of the lady I dealt with thru the phone, that she just wants me to pay and leave. I asked the tech if they have my old brake pads (I get it, sorry I didnt ask in the beginning). this lady walks out, yelling, ask beforefew minutes later she comes back with random set, saying I am not going thru garbage, so here are just random pads. (why do you think that I would take random pads home if they werent mine?)you couldve explained that it is difficult to get those pads once it was thrown away, not yelling at me.So I am ready to pay, they bring out the paper work, and one of the tech tried to explain things to me, all of a sudden she walks out and cuts him off and threw me the paper, Well, I tried to use the coupon that they sent, and they denied, saying we gave you a very special pricing so none of the coupon will work (I had 2 different ones for the brake jobs). So why is there a coupon if they are not going to be used at all or get denied?Did I tell you they do charge shop supply of $22.64. As I am about to done, she keeps telling me, my brakes gonna do bad, it will squeal but its not my problem, and calipers will go bad and its not my problem, rotors will go bad and it is not my problem. okay, I did a brake pad change, because my dealer service told me I will need brake changes, I did not want to hear all that good Luck from them because I did not listen to whatever they said.btw, when I called, I asked what kind of pads they use, they told me NAPA, and after the work, I asked and tech said SSD? (I dont know if i heard it right) I am not a car guy.. sorryRude, very special with pricing that their own coupons are useless, upsell (its a retail store). I went back there after few days, because I was supposed to revisit them to retorque my wheels, which I was not told a single time during visit, If I did not see that warning on invoice, I wouldve totally missed it, I am sure Midas did not care.A simple good morning wouldve probably turned my mind and I wouldnt posted this, but as soon as I walked in. Nope.Lets see what their technical qualities are, hopefully they did work well. Probably will not go back.

These folks are great and went above and beyond in their customer service. I’ll definitely be returning!Update: stopped by without an appointment today after my car began rattling. They quickly identified that it as a loose fitting on my catalytic converter and had it welded under 5 minutes. They once again left me totally impressed by their speed and professionalism. Didn’t charge and wouldn’t accept a tip. A friendly neighborhood shop who won’t steer you wrong and won’t make you pay for unnecessary things. I’ll keep going back for any needs I have!

Should have read the reviews before going. Got front brake pads replaced. Charged me 225 for rotor turning and cleaning(brake pads free as warranty from Midas from previous change).Next day I was coming back from office and the brakes were soft, had trouble stopping my car. So got the car towed and sent it back to Midas. I was told that rear breaks are not working. And will need new rotors and pads for $175. New rotors and brake pads online are available for 110 for front and rear. For rear the total was $395.This total was after generous discount of $62.In short dont walk, run away from this place.

Dropped my car off this morning and was told it would take 2 to 2 and a half hours, so I had no problem killing that time at the neighbouring Goodwill. Showed up 2 and a half hours later, not only had they not even gotten to my car yet,but told me there was an appointment scheduled. So it would take an additional 45 minutes for that, plus the time to change my oil after that. I understand having to take the appointment before me, thats fine. I wouldve been fine with making an appointment for a later date if the guy wouldve just told me upfront either it would be a 4 hour wait or that he wasnt sure how long it would be.

A little case of sticker shock but I quickly recovered. The tech took some off the labor at the end. He even showed me exactly what and where the problem was. They tried to help me out as much as they could. The repair was a must. But they are all so friendly and helpful. Thanks again Midas!

I would of given them no stars but its not an option. Last month I bought my fiance a new set of tires. Today when she goes in to get an oil change, they tell her one of her tires is low on tread (4mm) and need to be replaced. They see an attractive blonde female and in typical fashion, they run their games.

I work at the bank right next door to Midas and they were awesome! My car would not start when I went out to go to lunch, I walked over to Midas and someone came over and jumped my car right there in the parking lot, after my car was jumped it was still acting funny so they got it in right away and figured out that the battery was bad. They replaced it with no issues and were so friendly!!!

Brought my car to Midas - Fishers twice for a headlight repair. Took my car to another shop who said that Midas had wired it backwards and that the socket was fried. They gave me a written statement of what they found. Midas promised to give me $168 back of the $227 I spent on the headlight repair and fix it (for real) this time. When the car was brought to Midas for the third time after this promise was made, they refused both the refund and the repair. So much for your year warranty on your work. If you cannot be trusted to stick to your word, you cannot be trusted to work on a machine that can be deadly if not in proper condition. I absolutely will not bring another vehicle to Midas and will tell others to stay away as well.

Its not the customers job to tell a technician what the car needs but I told the Midas guy I may need an AC recharge. Its the technicians job to confirm the customers complaint like my AC is not blowing cold air. The Midas guy at this shop got me a diagnosis & the diagnosis was I have to pay $600-$700 some on just my AC. I declined that repair then that no good POS went ahead & recharged my AC anyway & charged me $200 some & my AC still wasnt blowing cold air. He went ahead & recharged my AC knowing damn well thats not gonna fix the problem... Then that no good piece of $hit midas guy tried to tell me he did nothing wrong because I signed the authorization for repair without 1st getting a diagnosis. Its the technicians job to confirm the customers complaint then get a diagnosis. Later that same week I took my vehicle to an independent shop on pendleton pike in Indianapolis & that guy said, I just replaced the orifice tube & it worked. Un Freaking Believable!!! My AC worked maintenance free for 4 years after that!!! So yeah... this happened some years back & if I knew well enough I would have filed a consumer complaint about this no good piece of $hit Midas Guy to the office of Indiana attorney general. There my be honest Midas guys out there but You are a total dumbass if you go to Midas for anything!! You are a total dumbass if you go to Midas for anything!! I cant stress that enough!! Go to an honest independent shop. They will save you alot of $$$Money$$$. I just got my AC recharged at an independent shop after 4 years of reliable service for $60. The leak has to be diagnosed later but the next recharge is free. I didnt want to recharge it myself because theres a leak in the system & I was afraid of wasting money on a poke & pray (recharge & hope it works). Hey... No good POS Midas guy... If a customer told you I need a new battery.. do you just up & replace the battery & send em down the road?? The right answer is hell no. The battery could be dead due to failure of the recharge system (alternator) or parisitic drain.

Had a poor experience with this Midas location a few months back. I had some unfamiliar transmission issues with my Nissan Altima (a loud clunk when shifting from park to reverse, and no auto up shifting while accelerating from 0-50 mph) . So I drove cautiously to my local Midas, as I called them to confirm my quick visit with transmission issues, to make sure they felt comfortable taking a look for issues. Drop off the vehicle, followed up the next day, and received the bad news.... i need a new CVT transmission (continuous variable transmission) that cost $4600. This comes with a lifetime guarantee.I thought I must find some other quotes, since my 05 Altima is only worth $5K. The Nissan dealership quoted $3700 which was slightly more of a red flag. I mean the dealership is never cheaper? Right?I mentioned this scenario to a friend, that works at Christian Bros. in Fishers, and he said something was fishy.... two (2) reasons being. 1) this nissan doesnt have a CVT,and 2) because of the sound (clunk) my car made when shifting from park to reverse.He hooked up a diagnostic machine (I want one), and after 10 min I received the good news.... my car had (1 of 2) bad cam shaft sensors. Approx $300 fix. But, in this case, you should go ahead and replace both (2 of 2) since they were both factory on an 05. $500 fix. I told them to proceed, and go ahead and change the oil as well.Midas let me down. Or at least the guy in charge of transmission troubleshooting. Something tells me this guy was no spring chicken, and is given the freedom to pop off $4600 quotes. He saw a mark, and he went for it. He looked me in the eye, lied to me, showed me a formal quote, and was comfortable quoting a me a new, unnecessary, CVT transmission that was lifetime guaranteed.I have waited a few months to write this review. I feel like a face to face would drive home the point better, but want all you folks to know whats up with this Midas. Although I really did like their service rates, and quality. This really pissed me off. Going to Midas and hulking out, or getting angry, isnt going to help anyone.My 11 yr old Nissan is still running strong with minimal upkeep cost (knock on wood) ;)
