Having had a family member in the postal service for over 30 years I wish people would really consider the stress that the post office and postal workers are under. They do AMAZING for the quantity of mail they deliver and the people I have encountered at the Fergus Falls Annex are FABULOUS! To send a letter anywhere in the united states for 50 cents is an amazing deal. There are frustrating things about an organization so big... but there are so many terrific people in it. Please give them the benefit of the doubt that they are doing their best!

Much needs to be corrected here. The lobby is FAR TOO SMALL. With social distancing only 4 people can fit in the lobby at one time and the rest have to wait outside in the cold! They actually yell at you to get back outside! The lobby needs to be at least 3 times bigger and have organized lines. I will not mail packages from this facility again unless they fix it. What a non customer friendly place! Makes no sense that they moved out of the historic and roomy former post office in downtown Fergus Falls.

I mean, they get the job done but its not always a pleasant process... Staff can oftentimes be rude. Just think of every USPS youve ever visited— thats the experience youre getting.

Postmaster and staff are rude. My packages state that they are to be delivered to my door as I am handicapped and my apartment manager doesnt accept delivery unless someones not home. The USPS can leave them in front of the unmanned office door. I am home 99% of the time I have packages delivered. I ASKED if they would please knock on the door to let me know that there is a delivery but the never do. I hear the DROPPING my packages instead. Seriously, there is NO Minnesota nice nor USPS pride in Fergus Falls. I have NEVER had such a hard time with a delivery company. No wonder they are losing so many services to UPS and Fed Ex.

When needing to talk to an actual person on the number they provide GOOD LUCK!!! Post office is so messed up they won’t even answer the phone to provide answers!

Electronics were out for delivery in Fergus way earlier than I had expected (Ebay). Was leaving my residence late afternoon, and didnt want my package sitting out in the freezing temps. Called USPS in Fergus and got Nate. He assured me that he would have it delivered by 2 oclock, if he himself had to do it. Sure enough, Nate was at my door with said package and I was off on my journey shortly after. Totally above and beyond service. I didnt even know that the Postal Service would do that.

For how much of a slow hassle the average post office is, these folks make the process a lot more comfortable. There isnt much waiting room, though the staff try their hardest to get people in and out as quickly and efficiently as possible. The staff generally say hello and make eye contact. These men and women even smile. It goes a long way! The only hold-up ever encountered was related to a probably-new employee and she was very apologetic. Generally in and out in two minutes, despite sending many letters certified mail.

Inconvenient location and never open when you need it to be.

The United States Post office number has worst customer service line ever!!!!!!! Why cant I just call my local post office and talk to an actual person why do I have to spend nearly 35 minutes every time !?.!?.!? on the phone trying to reach a person to speak to! Ridiculous!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
