I had been in Atlanata for a few days and decided to look on Yelp for a spa that did extractions along with skin brightening. I randomly decide to try out new things and or techniques. I had been waxing for years before I began laser hair removal in NY & I had some dark spots from ingrown.Bare was super easy to find and for those driving there is more than enough parking. The place was well taken care of and decorated nicely. I was taken care of quickly. The esthetician was amazing, she took her time with everything and was extremely careful. I have had some great results.This place has great potential and space. Hoping that they are able to expand and provide more services for those in this area.

I booked a couples massage was told to arrive 10 minutes before my 11AM appointment. I arrived at 10:50 and the door was locked and it seemed as if no one was there. I called the number and no answer. A man who also appeared to be stuck outside waiting for someone (who actually ended up being an employee) went in a little while later and told us to give them some time to set up because they were running late. My hour long massage didn’t start until 11:10 and was still over at 12PM, despite them being late. There was no complimentary wine as I was told there will be when I booked my appointment. I was told they ran out. Also, the guy who did my massage smelled like marijuana which wasn’t a pleasant smell that I wanted in my nose while he was in close proximity to me.The massage itself was a little disappointing and just okay. Nothing that I couldn’t of done myself if I had some massage oils. The only positive thing I will say is that the place and set up is really nice and soothing. They were also pleasant and nice but they are a bit unprofessional.

When you first walk into Bare Haven the scenery and aroma calms your mind. The workers there make you feel very welcomed and comfortable. It was the best massage I had ever received plus the pricing at Bare Haven is much better than other places and they have a lot to offer . My massage was so pleasant that I wanted to make it an every week thing. Its also so peaceful that you can only think positive thoughts and the perfect place to relieve stress.

This is the best place to relax and feel rejuvenated. When you leave bare haven you will be left speechless after your massage because you will be in awe at how your body feels. Unlike other places where you have to choose a certain type of massage that may not be what your body needs, you will get a massage tailored to your needs. Jodi is an expert at helping your muscles reach a relaxed state to help keep you healthy. I have been going to Jodi for more than five years and have not had anyone who measures up to her professionalism and the level of care she has for her clients.

My experience here was Great!!! Once you walk into the door the aroma and cleanness automatic relax you. The smile and warm greeting by the staff makes the visit more pleasing. The massage are to live for....warm heated tables, light music, and the therapist applying the right amount of pressure you asked for. This will be my new go-to spot. 5 Stars up :)

I bought a Groupon for a Brazilian, and redeemed it very soon after. When I went for my appointment I met Jodi who was very friendly. The place is very cute and chic, yet also quiet and relaxing. Jodi talked with me during the entire service. It was the fastest Brazilian I ever had! It was not as painful as previous Brazilians either. I was so impressed that I made a follow up appointment immediately. I did not have any irritation or breakouts after the service. Unfortunately, I had a scheduling conflict and had to cancel that appointment. Jodi was not available when I tried to reschedule so I tried another place, BIG MISTAKE! Yes, Bare Havens price for a Brazilian is a bit more than other places, but you get what you pay for. I will not chance another place, I will stick with Jodi and Bare Haven.

From the moment I entered Bare Haven my WHOLE soul felt relaxed! From the front desk girl who was happy to see me and offered me wine and water (what a welcome right) to Jodys calming voice, I knew I had made the right decision. Now Ive had my share of OK massages but never had anyone ask me the questions Jody was so thoughtful to ask or disclose: is the pressure good, I am about to stone you etc. Once she got done with these muscles I had to tell her to just dress me for the funeral cause I had died and went to Heaven and took her with me!!! My cousin brought me here for the first time. It was my FIRST Brazilian wax ever. The place is nice and lovely. The cost for the waxing excellent pricing. I had a great experience with Sabrina. She was so kind and understanding. She talked me through the while process and I really thought I was going to scream but I didnt. It was relaxing and Im glad she was able to work around me because Im 8 months and one week pregnant and couldnt get my body in the right position. Best experience ever and will go back!

I’ve always enjoyed Jody everytime I go to Bare Haven but I cancelled my appointment when the receptionist called to confirm my appointment and she still charged my card $25 without me knowing it. Even if you charge an cancellation fee (even tho I cancelled in advance) shouldn’t you let the person know that you are charging their card so that they are aware? Make me not trust my card being on file with this business!

Scheduled a massage appointment just to have no one there! I traveled an hour to get to them. I had to get a babysitter. They stated they cancelled because they could not get ahold of me to confirm the appointment. They lied about contacting me to confirm. I had no email, no voice mail, no missed call. Yes I checked my spam folder and no I havent had any issues for the past 10 years receiving emails. They confirmed they had my correct phone number when discussing the problem! They make you sign something for charging you if you are a no show and take your cc number. That should be enough confirmation anyway! I had to make sure they would not charge my card. This massage was a gift to me that was just wasted!

The atmosphere is great! Ive visited once before with my groupon for a couple massage. It was an awesome investment for me and my husband! We still remember the techniques.Todays visit I was going to do a groupon but the website said the same thing $25 intro rate. Let me start by saying that Im picky. Plus, I dont wow easy. However, I was wowed by this establishment from the moment I called to book my appointment 3 days before my service (facial, brazillan wax and etc.). Kendra was and will be my esthetician. She was AMAZING! Her knowledge and keen eye for detail were supernatural! She started my road to recovery from a pretty bad botched wax job I had almost a year ago. I absolutely love this place! When you enter, you are sent to a place of zen by the colors on the wall, the scent in the air and the soothing music being played. The decor of the suite is beautiful as well and most importantly, you are always greeted with a smile! There is a cute drink cart with your choice of lemon or cucumber water, red and white wine. Everybody needs a sip of wine before a massage or skincare services. Lol! Jodi, the licensed massage therapist is amazing! She can find your stress areas without you even telling her where your problem areas are. Shes amazingly talented. She takes ques from your body always making sure you deep breathe during the process and the pressure is just right. There are also skin care services that are awesome. The rooms are very clean. A new strip is always used for waxing. Sabrina, the esthetician and Jodi (yes she is licensed for waxing as well) provide excellent waxing skills and they are very meticulous. They really listen to what you want! You wont be sorry booking an appointment at Bare Haven. I love this place!

I had a hard time getting in touch with some to book appointment, afterwhich I had an appointment that I traveled 40 minutes to for them to be a no show. It was book incorrectly on their end, so we had to come back the next day and the massage was okay, but not great.

I came here to get a brazilian wax and OMGGGGG Jodi is the best! She is also the owner! Ive been getting these for a while now from different places and its never perfect. There is usually hair left over, they take too long or they are too rough. But with Jodi I had no problems at all. Her special techniques made it super quick and not that painful at all. And most importantly, NO HAIR LEFT OVERRRRR. She is amazing! You wont regret it!

I brought my friend Tiffany to get a brazillian wax for the first time. Looking through Groupon they had a $25 deal which led me here. I usually have to travel far to get it done like Marietta, Atlanta, and etc. Bare Haven is closer to home and Sabrina is the BEST! Shes so friendly and great at what she does. Very welcoming from beginning to the end. She also made us aware of what shes doing step by step. The overall experience has been spectatular! We will definitely be back every 4-6 weeks. Bought a groupon for a couples massage at this place for my boyfriend’s birthday. DO NOT believe these good reviews. I made the mistake of doing so. After I made an appointment (and made them aware I would be using a groupon) the receptionist asked for a card number to leave on file in case. I gave her mine and she confirmed the appointment. The day of our appointment my boyfriend rushed out of work and drove 45 minutes to meet me. We wanted to ensure we were at least ten minutes early to the appointment. When we tried to go in, the door was locked and all of the lights were turned off. There was no sign on the door indicating they would be closed and their hours online and on Facebook said they were open. It was 4 o’clock in the afternoon for Christs sake. After calling and leaving numerous messages and even leaving messages through Google and Facebook we heard nothing. Who books an appointment time with a client and disappears? It was beyond bizarre and horribly unprofessional. Especially since I had already payed and this sketchy business had my credit card number. I read a previous review detailing how they were unprofessional and rude to another groupon customer. If that’s why they did this they are idiots. I work in the service industry and understand how things work and I fully intended to tip on the original price of the massage, not the discounted groupon price. And if they have a problem with Groupon customers, TAKE THE DAMN BUSINESS OFF GROUPON!!! I contacted Groupon support to report this business. I have never had a company behave this unprofessional. And there the ones who gave me the appointment time. It’s not like I chose! Just beware to anyone looking to relax here. My experience was anything but.

So, I purchased a Groupon deal that is advertise as a 25 dollar brazilian wax. Great deal right? I thought so too. The problem was when it was time to check out Jody didnt honor the Groupon deal instead she charged me 45 dollars!! I informed her that I purchased a 25 dollar deal off the Groupon site she replied that the deal is ONLY good for your first wax. Mind you NO where on her Groupon states for first wax only.. which is consider false advertising. Im all bout supporting black entrepreneurs/ businesses especially woman but not with your dishonest to your customers. I was going to be a loyal customer but I dont like the idea of being deceived. FYI ladies Salt MedSpa in Fayetteville offers true 25 dollar Brazilian waxes & truly honor all Groupon purchases. ;)
