I was in the process of purchasing my home. There was a very bad erosion issue. The seller had a contractor come out and was quoted $4,000 to properly fix the issues. I met Extreme Green the day he came out to give his quote. He proceeded to tell me that the previous contractor was just trying to rip the seller off and that he could do the job much cheaper. the culvert was not lined up under the driveway allowing all of the water running down the driveway to eat away the dirt under the driveway and washing it out in the ditch. Even while expressing my concern for them not correcting the culvert, he was very arrogant trying to make me feel like i didnt know what I was talking about and he was the professional. The seller hired Extreme green because of their low price quote. The day they were scheduled to arrive they didnt show. The next day they showed up an hour after they promised they would be here. They were suppose to use a dirt rock mix down the side of the drive which they say will fix the erosion. They did not fix anything because less than 1 month after they completed what they called a completed job the erosion is even worse. There is no way I will ever recommend this company and their shady work. At least they got their money instead of doing the job properly. Thats all that matters to them. The photos attached are of the erosion 2 weeks after the work Extreme Green said the completed the job.
I cant speak highly enough about Extreme Green and their staff. They are always quick to be helpful, friendly and do a wonderful job for a great price. My yard has never looked better!
Exactly what is needed now more than ever - professional, detailed, honest work from a local business. Were very satisfied with the lawn maintenance and landscaping work Extreme Green provides to our home in Hope Mills twice per month.
Tony Lockamy, owner, is a phenomenal business owner. He puts his clients best interests first and gives back to our community daily. This business has been voted as Fayettevilles Best of the Best Landscaping company by the Fayetteville Observer.Tony graduated from North Carolina State University in 2003 and has been a landscaping guru and business owner for 14 years.
I would highly recommend Tony and his crew. They completely ripped out my old landscaping and sod to replace it with a gorgeous new look. Tony has worked tirelessly to keep it looking fabulous. Not to mention he is one of the nicest guys you will ever meet.
Updated review:Since the business requested I take down my review, I most certainly will not. Clarification on the situation: I informed him that I was having the quote done to give the incentive amount to the perspective buyer so they could call him AFTER they closed on my house and have him come out and complete the work. I was already prepaying the buyer the quoted cost that he would’ve given me per the quote (had he bothered coming out). This was not just a quote so I could turn around and not have the work done. Funny that he pretends to show interest in coming out to give a quote yet turns around and then says he has no interest in giving quotes for work he feels may not be given to him. How does he get business if he doesn’t do quotes? Second funny thing is that the final excuse he gave me when he was a no show the third time was that he had a medical issue in his family. I explicitly informed him that the new buyers would be calling him after they closed to arrange for him to come and complete the work, and that I just needed a printed quote with the cost and business name to facilitate giving them the amount quoted as an incentive and so they could know which business to contact once they closed. Seeming as how he is replying to my original review a whole year later, I doubt he even remembers which customer is which at this point because he lies so much. If he was a true professional, the excuse on his response should’ve been the reason he gave me in the FIRST phone call to him instead of giving me the run around for almost five days. No worries though, the other business showed up, gave me a quote for me to give the buyers’ realtor, I also have them the buyer incentive equal to the amount of the quote, and they called him as promised to have the irrigation system fixed.Original review:I’d give no stars if I could. I called the first week of July to schedule for him to come out to my home on the 11th to give me an estimate on rewiring my irrigation system due to it being one of the contingencies for me closing on my home on July 19th. He told me it would be no problem coming on the 11th and to call him the day prior (July 10th) to remind him. Called on July 10th before he closed at 5pm, no answer but left a vm. He called me later after I left the vm and told me he was still tracking to show up the next day. He said he would be out in Cameron and then somewhere else that day but had me down after that. July 11: No show. Called him on July 12th. He said he couldnt make it on July 11th due to a previous job running over time, and so he would be out that afternoon. No show. Texted him a little after 7pm to see if he was still coming, and he said no and that he would come on July 13th. He said he would definitely be by because he lived close to my address. Guess what? No show. Called....no answer. Texted him, and he never answered back. All of this lack of professionalism has left me scrambling to get another company out to give me an estimate. No problem. I have one coming out today (July 15th) who after I told my ordeal to them, has assured me that they would be professional enough to show up.
Tony is awesome and gets the jobs done no matter what
