Legacy Athletics is new this year but you can feel the love and dedication that they show each athlete that enters the building. My daughter is going on her 3rd year with the gym and she absolutely loves it. Yes, she has had her moments when she thinks she can’t do something but all of the coaches has encouraged her to keep on and never give up. I have seen amazing growth in my child and every-time she performs I see a change for the good. The coaches work hard and pushes proper technique, strength and safety. My daughter was apart of three teams that won National Championship this year so that speaks volumes to the coaches and the amount of time they spend preparing the kids. The coaching style is very positive and uplifting. All of the staff members are awesome and I love them all ❤️. I would highly recommend if your child is interested or would love to continue their love for cheering to come check Legacy Athletics out.

I just wanted to get on here and just express the love I have for this gym also from an athletes perspective. Legacy Athletics is an awesome gym this was my first season with them and my first year doing competitive cheer. I personally cheered on the seniors team. Getting in contact with Legacy was very easy the whole process was super easy and the staff are all super nice me and my family have nothing but nice things to say about this gym. When I first started I was 17 years old with few skills and thought maybe I was too old to start cheer but this gym gives everyone a chance and I am so thankful for the opportunity I have absolutely fell in love with all star cheer. All of the coaches are amazing and the kids there basically second family enough of me ranting. I just highly recommend this gym to anyone thinking about joining cheer or dance. I have personally had an awesome experience

I absolutely love Legacy. I have 2 girls (ages 4 & 6) currently enrolled in their cheer program. They have by far exceeded all of my expectations. The coaches are absolutely amazing. All of them have prior cheerleading/dance experience and it shows that they know how to get results. With this being their first year, Legacy won 8 National Championship titles, 3 Grand Champ titles, and had 2 undefeated teams.I am so excited for next season. I highly recommend this gym for all your cheerleading, dance and tumbling needs!!

I understand it was their first year but when I tell you this place is toxic! Coach Angela is emotionally unstable and instead of being positive she is argumentative and intentionally spiteful with the athletes (especially the older ones). Angela loves to yell at them when they’re not meeting her standards. She’s told them they weren’t good enough to go to Summit or Worlds and made winning first place a priority instead of focusing on sportsmanship. Tammy is nice and will listen but when Angela is on her mean girl ish, won’t say a word. They make last minute changes and don’t care what the athletes think or feel about them. Unless a team placed 1st (maybe second) they wouldn’t so much as praise them for their efforts or mention them after the competition was over. They would tell the kids when there would be extra practice instead of telling the adults (hello, we are the ones paying for it!). If they’re having an issue or concern about an athlete they will corner the kid in their office and not say a word to the parent unless it gets outta hand. Lots of favoritism goes on here and not enough professionalism. One kid they pushed so hard she blew her knee out at a competition. Coach told her not to go too hard during practice because she would rather she blow her knee out at the competition rather than at a practice. Needless to say that poor child ended up having surgery because of their mental guilt games and she left the team. The only positive was coach Jamilah. Honestly she can find a better gym who can use her talents because she’s awesome with the athletes. Now this was our experience and I can’t speak for anyone else. You do what’s best for you but we will never return to that toxic place ever again. My daughter only missed practice 3X due to illness or injury all season while some kids just didn’t show up cause it was their birthday or they wanted to visit grandma. Oh and the icing on the cake was how my daughter competed on day one of the last competition of the season and injured herself so bad I had to take her to the er at midnight on day two. Doctor told her not to perform on it if she was in too much pain to walk on it the next day. She got as far as the venue parking lot that morning in tears and just couldn’t do it. She chose not to compete and risk her team losing their chance at winning. Well, her team won National and Grand Championship that day and she was told she wouldn’t get a ring because the event coordinator only gave them enough for the athletes who got on the mat! Meanwhile the coaches got rings for themselves and didn’t so much as offer my daughter their rings. My daughter was part of the teams (dance and cheer) the whole season and was part of the competition that qualified them for Nationals. So there it is...we are ending what started out as a promising season with not so much as a banner, medal or ring to show for it. Just an “oh, sorry about that” and a uniform we will never use again. Join or stay at your own risk.In response to the owner’s response:The fact that not one single coach even bothered to check on my daughter to see how she was doing after the competition weekend was over just proved the fact they have their faves and don’t care Also, to see a video of grown women flaunting rings that my daughter helped them acquire, yet neither one offered to give their ring to her to acknowledge the part she played in that accomplishment shows a level of selfishness that blows my mind. This is the ONLY competition her team received a token of congrats and she was written off like a stepchild because she chose not to jeopardize her team’s chances and perform on an injured foot. She could have gone on and not said a word. However if she bobbled just once from the pain she would have been vilified by them and blamed for their loss. We’ve been in cheer for long enough to know what good sportsmanship looks like....and this was not evident to us. Unless they’re willing to give my daughter the accolades she deserves for the part she played as a teammate, any further discussion is futile.

I’m a former athlete of legacy athletic we had our ups and downs but I just wanted to clarify someone else’s comment they’re not the reason I’m hurt they would tell me to sit down and stuff but I always push myself to my limit and I didn’t blow my knee out so please do not speak on a injury you know nothing about it’s a injury I’ve had for a while but the last competition i pushed myself to hard, my knee is the reason I left I may have had mixed emotions about my coaches and teammates but I still love them to death and I would suggest this gym to other people I’ve cheered with three of the coaches for like 3 years they were the start of my cheer life I love them dearly.
