Fayetteville Pilates and Barre (FPB) is a lovely, friendly community and a great resource for quality Pilates education & fitness instruction that’s accessible to all bodies, all ages, and all fitness levels. Whether you’re an elite athlete, professional couch potato, or somewhere in between, there is a class at FPB for you, and more classes are being added as pandemic guidelines allow. I’ve been with the studio ever since it opened its doors almost a decade ago and can attest that at its heart is a sincere dedication to helping people move and feel better.
Best barre and instructors in town!
Manager is a sociopathic narcissist who steals from the company and other co-workers. Owner bought it because she had the money but has no idea how to run a business. Very disappointed.
Question their use within 2 months policy to encourage people to use the classes they purchase. They offer a limited class schedule throughout the day that is not conducive for people who work. If theyre really trying to get you to come, theyd offer more classes or call encouraging you to come. The studio is small enough for them to be able to do that.
I cannot say enough good things about Fayetteville Pilates and Barre! I leave each session feeling like a million bucks and looking forward to the next time! The studio is pleasant and has a nice sense of openness and space. Lisa and her team are extremely welcoming. Lisa is thoroughly engaging and finds a way to talk to every individual in a way they understand. The staff listen and talk to you about your goals and abilities, and really help you achieve honest-to-goodness positive change, whether thats strength or flexibility, or tension reduction, or better posture, or even concentration. Whatever kind of program you choose, it will strengthen and refresh both your mind and your body. Lisa and her co-instructors will challenge you to move beyond your comfort zone, but they are mindful of any limitations and will help you learn to work around or through them. You will learn a lot and feel great!!
I left ages ago because the person who is managing it made me feel like I didn’t know what I was doing after practicing over a year (and she had been doing Pilates for about the same amount of time). She called me out in class, and while I don’t care what she thinks, it was incredibly unprofessional. No, thank you. Used to be great. It is no longer great. Do not waste your money.
After taking too many step classes, not quite fitting into the yoga scene, and wasting money on gyms.. I found Pilates. Its done so much to strengthen my core and I just love the studio. Its clean, welcoming and the classes are always different. Sometimes I go before work, on my lunch break or after work. Definitely take advantage of their $5 first class!
So far Lisa and Susanne have been amazing! Theyre super sweet and helpful! Susanne always know when Im looking at her for reassurance when exercising a move.
Love Fayetteville Pilates and Barre! Have tried the Pilates, reformer, TRX and barre classes. All the instructors are very knowledgeable and make sure you are doing the moves correctly and safely. All the instructors are super friendly. Would not hesitate to recommend any instructor or class.
Modern and clean studio, fantastic instructors, A diverse schedule, and a routine to get anyone feeling their best. Everyone should give it a try!
As a runner, I really wanted to try some cross training to get in better shape. I had never done group classes before taking Xtend barre, so I was pleasantly surprised by how comfortable the atmosphere was and how great Lisa and Courtney are at giving personalized instructions during each workout. I have not only lost about 7 pounds since starting Xtend barre about 3 months ago, I have also taken 5 minutes off my overall 5K time! My boyfriend says Im like a different running partner now, and I know its because I get such great muscle training in barre. I would highly recommend it to any runners looking for a cardio and muscle strengthening workout!
