BEWARE... THIS COMPANY IS NOT WORTH THEIR GRAIN OF SALT.Not only did they not want to retest and retreat areas that were still displaying signs of mold but they wanted to do their own FINAL TESTING WHICH IS A BIG NO, NO!!!!I learned that mold remediation companies that treat a home are supposed to hire third party testing to ensure their work. They charged over $10,000 for the testing to still fail. Things not be cleaned properly and still have poor air quality results following. Their crawl space barrier is a joke, so please do not purchase it. You can but yourself some thick plastic and anchors and perform this yourself for way less. You could even hire someone to do this for a fraction of the price.Their prices are outrageous and they do not stand behind their work. You will also catch them in lines in order to maintain big companies for future business.No integrity, poor customer service, unfair pricing, faulty testing.

I called Cape Fear Restoration for a water damage estimate. During the call therepresentative was very patient assisted understanding of my situation. Thomas contacted me within 1hour and set up a same day appointment with me. Thomas very professional and thorough, he ensured that I understood the details of the assessment and documents. He went above and beyond with assisting me with addressing the insurance adjusters assessment discrepancies with my insurance company. Prompt and professional customer service. Will definitely recommend them to my friends and family..

This is by far the best company that I have dealt with. The crew, Sandra and Chris May were fantastic. They came in and set everything up to dry up the water from a water leak that occurred. Sandra and Chris May are truly rock stars at what they do. Thank you for all your hard work and dedication!

If i could give them no stars or even negative stars, I would. Small leak; caused some minor repair and when the team finally showed they wanted money up frontAfter the 3 day drying period, the estimate rep; NO SHOWED twice and each time; I had to call them.Finally got everything moving and then the company had trouble finding someone for the repairs (?);Once the bill hit it was quite higher then what the insurance was willling to pay and then BINGO: the CRC pulled out. They stated the project was way too big for them (probably a bath room the size of a bed of a truck).this left me with the entire mess from their wet/drying team; which destroyed much of the bathroom.The whole drying it out business isnt worth it and they must subcontract to keep their cost down so they can bill you more for their profits.DONT USE EVER

I love CFFR! I have worked many places, but never for a company who cares as much as they do. Employees are treated like family, and so are customers! The mitigation crew knows their stuff, and the whole staff is amazing! There is only one place you should call for water damage!

This company pays plumbers (like roto rooter) to make a small mess into a large one so they can come in and rip everything out to repair it. Paid for demo and then paid to restore. My insurance company found that the roto rooter technician was paid to call them the night roto rooter caused a sewer shower in my house. Cape fear restoration came out the next day and tore up my kitchen and bathroom far more than was necessary. They then tried to keep their equipment over the weekend just to charge me/my insurance more. They are crooks and scam with other companies and will tear everything out so they can be paid twice to come back and repair all the damage. Would never allow them in my home again.
