This is my lesson: stay away from them. Purchased life insurance policies with one agent who no long work in this place for a while. However, there was no notice or anything to let me know my agent is no longer available. It seems like these people just there to sell you insurance for the commission. After that, you are on your own.
They sure make it easy to get insurance, so pleasant, but they write with a company that will not help you. Dont go with a company who will not be there when you need them. Spend the extra money and go to a big company like USAA so when something major happens beyond your control, you actually can get assistance. Thats what insurance is for. To help you when your home needs more help than you are prepared for. Protect your family...dont use this company.
I first started off with this company over 3 years ago. My first visit was friendly and the lady I was working with gave me great customer service. The next visit to the office the original lady I worked with was no longer there and from than on the service has declined. I requested a quote for a business and never received it. I called to discuss my renewal of my homeowners policy and was told I have time because I had a month before I had to renew. I called back two weeks later and was told they counld not renew my property based on the inspection. After questioning way my house did not pass the inspection the agent was caught in several lies and an inspection had not been conducted. Instead they used Google Earth which was outdated. The Agent then proceeded to state since I have a trampoline and above ground pool, I would not be able to find anyone to insure my property. I stated that I have had a trampoline for 12+ years and the pool over 4 years and never had a problem before. WORST Customer Service EVER. Needless to say I found insurance with my trampoline and above ground pool for better coverage and lower premium.

JUST CAN NOT GET IT RIGHT. I have been with this company for 7 years and as of September 18, 2017, I can no longer allow this company to make another penny off of me. I put trust in this company to handle every asset of my life and they failed me this year because of their sorry performance to do their basic job. I had business, home, life and auto insurance and one by one I had to go with different companies because of how they handle my insurance policies and failure to give correct information. I honestly gave this company numerous chances because I believe in human error and loyalty. Over the years this company made minor mistakes and we work through it. I had trust in them because they made my transition out of the military and purchasing a home easy. This year was extremely terrible. First was the business insurance, I paid $245.00 for the first year and when it came time to renew the price jumped up to $597.00. The reasoning for my fee going up was because of my information on my website. I was confused because my information on my website was no different then when I first got the insurance policy. I dont mind paying for what I need but you got to do better than putting a claim on something that never changed. So, I changed over to Callahan and Rice Insurance Company for my business insurance and got a better deal. Now during this time I found out that I was paying too much for auto insurance. So I took the information that was given to me by Callahan and Rice and explain it to ISC. I want to give them a chance to explain why am I paying $233 and 6 other insurance companies are giving me quotes as low as $161 and as high as $176. They claim it was a internal point policy and my prices would go down in August 2017. This was in March 2017. In June 2017, I get my renewal policy and it is $255 a month. Now this is for full coverage on a 2016 SUV and liability on a 2004 Pick up truck. I was confused and anger and called numerous times to get a straight answer. Keep in mind my wife and I have ZERO points on our license. They claim that the accident that Fort Bragg was held reliable for was counting against us and that we got a new 2016 vehicle is the reason why it went up. We got this vehicle in December 2016 and the quotes we got from other insurance companies was lower almost a $100 cheaper, we got better coverage and the accident that they claim that went against us, no other insurance company could see it. So, again try to give them a chance to fix it and they did nothing. So after I thought things were going to be resolved, my insurance policy renewed and on August 1, 2017 $255.00 was taken out my account. Nothing was fixed. So on August 2, I actually go in to ISC and cancel the policy and change over to State Farm Insurance. I was angry but problem was resolved. So at this point they only had my life and home insurance. On August 22, 2017 I received a billed saying I owe $183 for canceling my insurance policy early and It was canceled on August 15, 2017. At this point I am going to give them one last chance to fix this and I ask to talk to the owner but only talked the son who is second in charge. I explained this entire story and showed him documentation of all of the issues that I was having. He said he would look into it and today their answer to my problem was a Excel spreadsheet that I was suppose to have gotten on September 1 but didnt get it until today. Which once again had the wrong information again. I am DONE! I plan on transferring my last two insurance policy to other agents outside of ISC and WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY AGAIN. As you can see this is basic insurance business and they just could not get it right! Here is a copy of what they sent me to show their solution to my problem and issue and keep in mind the information was still wrong. My policy Renews on July 15, 2017 not June 1, 2017 and it was canceled on August 2, 2017 not August 15, 2017. How can you trust a company that cant even get the basic information correct.

This is the worst company...run. Their agents lie to you to get you to take out their policies. I was told that my homeowner insurance mirrored a previous policy with State Farm and when the hurricane came through and we lost electricity for several days and our food was lost, thats when we figured out the true details of our policy. The owner John Canady was very unprofessional when I talked to him about what was done. No respect for people and their belongings.
Quoted me a price and I bought the policy. They then sent me an updated policy price (Due to their mistake)that was 12 time the original quote so I canceled. They then invoked the North Carolina early insurance cancellation policy and billed me 1/4 the entire (adjusted) years price as a cancelation fee.
