I’m always pleased with the care I receive from Drakeshire Dental, especially Kristen who has cared for my dental issues the longest. She’s sensitive to my concerns and takes extra care to make my appointments easy while giving my teeth the best possible care. Her attention to detail is appreciated! She has taken time to inform other techs of my issues so they are aware whenever they cover for her. The practice has always been well-run and the billing accurate too.

Ive been going to Drakeshire Dental for many, many years. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Im always in and out in a timely manner, and on the rare occasion there is an issue with my teeth it is always thoroughly explained to me. I live in Ann Arbor, so its a bit of a drive to Drakeshire - but I dont think I would want to go anywhere else!

I went to DrakeShire Dental this morning and received a great service at the moment I arrived. The receptionist was friendly and the hygienist Andreia was amazing on my cleaning appointment, she was patient, careful and concerned if I was feeling any pain. And Dr. Joao Najar he is a very friendly person, and a very professional dentist. I highly recommend the service of this place.

The dental experience was great; however, they never seem to charge me the correct amount. They over charged me and took over 7 months to get me a refund check. Last time I went they under charged me 6 dollars and the receptionist haggled me multiple times to pay it when I had an appointment the next month for a cleaning. She has been very nasty with me on multiple occasions and I will not be returning back because of her.

This was by far the worst dental experience I’ve ever had. My long time dentist, who was amazing, retired and I saw Dr Nava to have my occlusal guard filled. The receptionist brought me back and I told her that my guard needed to be filled, several times, as she is not a native English speaker. She then took my guard for cleaning. She came back shortly after to say that the dentist snapped the guard in half while she was looking for the break! I freaked out because I have severe TMJ/TMD and night grinding. I was told that they could make a new guard for me (which I now believe was the intention all along), and it would take 3 weeks. I said that I can’t wait that long, and they finally said it could be rushed and ready in 10 days. I had to personally drive the imprints to the lab in Garden City, to cut out the mail time. I told the dentist and technician at the lab that the most important thing for me was to make sure that my back teeth are not able to engage, as my jaw muscles are damaged from 40+ years of grinding, and being able to fully engage those muscles at night gives me debilitating migraines.Fast forward to yesterday, which was 16 business days after my appointment, not the 10 I was promised. I called the office to see what was taking so long. They said my guard was ready, they don’t know why no one called me, and made an appointment to pick it up today.The new guard only engaged on my BACK TEETH. I told the receptionist that did the test fit that it was not what was specified for me, and I needed to talk to the dentist. When Dr. Nava came in, I reiterated that this was not what we discussed, not what was promised, and that it won’t work for me. Her only words: “Do you want it or not?” Of course I said no. She then said it would take six weeks for me to get a refund. I can’t even begin to describe how fuct I am.The receptionist, I think her name is Patty, is also the rudest person I have ever encountered in a customer service job.

Another successful visit to Drakeshire! I love this place, the people is very friendly and professional, the help is invaluable. My daughter is a CI special person and this is the only dentist office that she feels good with. Its amazing how good the treat people, like part of my family! And of course the work is super well done! I would never think that I could say I love my dentist office but I do! I love to come, and visit my dentist !

Please read the reason for the 3 stars!!I REALLY like this dentist office. All of the doctors and assistants I’ve had have all been friendly and knowledgeable.Unfortunately, have to knock down the stars due to the receptionist. Even over the phone I know exactly who she is. She is the older woman with dark hair. I’ve been going to this office for about two years now and each time she has been nothing but rude - in person AND over the phone. There was one visit she was particularly rude and it made me consider switching offices just because I don’t want to deal with her.I would take this into consideration. I’ve always held on to the fact that sometimes people might be having a bad day, but this woman is just consistently unfriendly which leaves me feeling uncomfortable and unwelcome.

I started going to Drakeshire many years ago on the recommendation of a friend. She had nothing but good things to say about Dr. Carpenter and his staff. And now I know why!! He is so gentle and kind and his staff is extremely professional and friendly. After losing my benefits some years back, I am happy to say that Im back with Drakeshire and everything is still great. I heard horror stories about root canals and was so nervous about it. The staff and doctor made sure I was comfortable and kept me well informed every step of the way. Their top of the line equipment and bedside manners made a world of a different for me! I’m so grateful!

I had my first appointment at Drakeshire today and it went really well! I was in for a cleaning and x rays. It was the most thorough check up Ive had. They checked for cavities and measured my gums. They even did an oral cancer screening. Everyone was very friendly, Ill definitely be coming back!

I was perfectly pleased with the dental care I received, however, I was very unhappy when I received my invoice from Delta Dental. The receptionist informed me they did accept my Delta Dental plan, so I did not know I needed to press further to find out whether my plan fully covered this dentist. Turns out - Drakeshire is a Premier Dentist through Delta Dental, so while I thought my insurance was covering 80%, there was a large portion extra that Drakeshire charged, that my insurance did not cover at all. It obviously wouldve been very helpful information to be informed of this upfront. Now I will have to seek care elsewhere. The office was also closed when I arrived Saturday morning at 8am and I had to wait almost 10 minutes for an employee to show up and let me in. Which only happened after I called the office asking what was going on.

I am happy to become a part of the Drakeshire Dentistry Family. I came to this community seeking emergency Dentistry care. Drakeshire Dentistry took me in and took care of me immediately. I was so thankful to them for that. After that I decided, this will be my family dentist. A-OK

I found this office when I had a tooth break off on a Friday night at 8pm. They were able to see me first thing Saturday morning the next day. There is endodontist on staff, Dr. Arab, and he just happened to be in, so I got a referral and he ultimately had to pull that tooth. The office has modern technology, the staff is compassionate and friendly, and this is now my new dental office. They are top notch and have Saturday hours too!!!

The service at the dental office was very good and professional. However, we were blindsided by a bill we never expected. When we arrived to their office we specifically stated we did not want anything done that our insurance did not cover. When we left they stated that we were all set, we paid our co-pay and asked to confirm that we wont owe anything else. They reassured us that we paid everything in full and next thing you know we get a bill in the mail stating that we are overdue on a payment. This came as a shock, as we would have paid them that day if they were to have set the proper expectation up front. Now they say we are 90 days past due and tacked on extra fees I will not go back to this dental office. They are not forthcoming regarding fees and explanations. In addition to having paid a bill that they kept saying was past due, we are still getting mail from them indicating that we still owe and that we are past due. We do not owe them anything and have proof of payment. This is getting beyond irritating. We just want to move on from this horrible experience and they continue to contact us. I would not recommend anyone to use this office. You cannot blame people for not returning to your office if you are not forthcoming.

I cracked a molar right before I had to go on a long business trip. Drakeshire Dental got me in the same day and did a Root Canal on a Saturday!Very impressed with the quality of their service and the friendliness of the staff! All costs were made available for my review up front.Can’t say enough good things about them! Thank you!

I do not recommend Drakeshire Dental. I went here after a co-worker referred me here and I was new to the area. My first cleaning the doctor told me I had deep ridges in my teeth and needing to get preventative fillings in 4 or 5 of my teeth. I had never heard this before and had been going to the dentist 2x/year my entire life. I told them no, especially after they showed me cost. A few months later I had chipped my front tooth on a piece of candy, and came in to get it fixed. I am still not sure it was fixed in the correct fashion, but thats a story for a different day. In the less than 6 months since my last cleaning I SUDDENLY had 5 teeth that needed fillings for cavities. I have only ever had 1 cavity in my life so I knew this was an exaggeration. I got a second opinion, and low and behold NO CAVITIES. The Drakeshire team is out to rob their patients. They dont care about you, they only care about their bottom line. I was given sass by the front desk when I cancelled my next cleaning and asked for copies of my medical records. I had to call and ask for my records on 3 separate occasions before they were finally sent over. Dont go here unless you like spending money on unnecessary dental procedures and having a dentist who doesnt care about you.

From check-in to check-out my visit was great and I would definitely recommend. The office is very nice, the dentist and hygienist were thorough and took excellent care of my teeth, and the rest of the staff was also very kind.

The staff is very knowledgeable and caring. Office is clean and equipment is up to date. I have been to their office several times for cleanings and one crown installation. The crown does not give me any pain and blends in well with the rest of my teeth. I drive from Auburn Hills for appointments (about an hour away). I interact mostly with Dr. Alma Nava and I recommend her highly.

I am a new patient that was referred to this dental office. I have had a cleaning, chip repairs, wisdom teeth extracted and a consult on some receding gums. Their entire staff from the front desk staff all the way to dentists were very personable and very professional. It was a very comfortable place to be especially for a dentist office. Dr. Carpenter is very easy to work with as he very thoroughly describe and went explained everything during my consult for what should be done with my wisdom teeth as well as my receding gums. He also does amazing work with repairing chips, as this is something else that was needed. Dr. Nava was just as much of a pleasure to have worked with as she was the doctor who extracted my wisdom teeth. I was in the mindset that it would be an unpleasant experience but I felt nothing while Dr. Nava and her assistant worked very well together and were very mindful of me and how I was feeling. I highly recommend this staff of very nice and highly professional individuals that will treat you very well.

Dont go here!!!! If you want the bait and switch this is the place to go. Sitting in the chair they tell me I needed a procedure. They said my insurance would cover it. Well $600 later my insurance didnt cover it like they told me they would and I was stuck paying it.

Had multiple fillings done this time with Dr. Nava. She was so attentive to me and if I was ok or if I needed anything, something a dentist never did before. They explained everything and even made jokes throughout the process to make things more fun. I can’t beli I’m saying this, but I enjoyed going to the dentist!

I had a lower plate made by them and almost at once it didnt fit well. I contacted them several times and got no response. Last month I went to Aspen Denture and got a denture that fits perfectly well for about one fourth the amount. Also they wanted to charge me and extra $600 or so for a final lining which was not included in the price estimate. Ive had such a poor experience with them that I have thought about suing them. It is obvious that they really dont know how to make dentures and, worse, they simply dont care. The only reason I gave them a star is that this message wont post without at least one star.

Do not recommend this place to anybody! I could write an essay why but I will make this simple. There prices are way too high and they dont even do it the proper way! I left a review on here before stating the exact situation I was in (they put a crown on the WRONG tooth, then tried to make me pay to fix the issue), but I guess it was taken down. My dentist even seen me at Krogers and ASKED me to take down the review but I didnt because its the truth and I want everyone to know how terrible this dental office is. Im so glad I dont have to deal with them anymore!! STAY AWAY from this horrible place!!! It doesnt even deserve to be called a dental place!!

Dr. Nava is really awesome. I have two dental implants by her and they are perfect. She and her staff are bilingual and therefore I reffer to her all my clients that need a dentist with Spanish skills.

Ive gone to this dentist for several years and each experience is quick and painless. The hygienists are very personable and the doctors will handle you with great care.

I started going to Drakeshire when they merged with my old dentist office. It was okay to start but quickly fell short of what I would consider a facility with customer service. Once the staff from the old office no longer worked at Drakeshire they started to treat me poorly. They overbook and there isnt much of a wait time in the lobby, but once youre seated in the chair you could be there for over an hour waiting. I recently found another dentist only to have Drakeshire give me NOTHING BUT TROUBLE AND HASSLE when the new office requested my x-rays. The office manager claimed she didnt know how to send them, she wasnt willing to even pretend that she would make an effort to figure it out. She proceeded to hang up on the place trying to obtain MY records. OF COURSE I wasnt able to call and get anywhere either as most of the staff is related to one of the Drs. I knew that it had nothing to do with me, the customer service was not even subpar. The bad side is you can have all the latest and greatest technology but if your staff is rude, pushy, nasty and unprofessional then you have nothing. I liked Dr. Carpenter. He was always very nice but I would NEVER return to see him unless I was able to bypass the horrible staff he has. The only people there who had any manners and actually treated people with respect were obviously Dr. Carpenter, Pauline and Erin. The rest of the staff brings that whole place down.I finally got my x-rays....after I said Id be in to see Dr Carpenter and pick them up. All of the sudden the mean girls got their stuff together and sent them right over.I hope this gets into the hands of someone who can truly make a difference over there.

Spent a few visits here prepping for braces and a few fillings, got all the money out of me with hopes they would at least offer to fix the problem or reference me to a place that could. Instead they had me come in to meet with doctor who isnt even with them anymore. Also offered compensation to leave a good review. Place really didnt help with anything and I spent a good amount of money. My advice would be to go anywhere else unless looking to get a quick cleaning. Very suprised they would do this to somebody willing to give them there buisness or listen to recomendations. Wasted my time here and was very dissapointed.
