Kwik Kar in Farmers Branch is always on point! They have helped fixed my car and make it run great! They are always super nice, very clear as to how to best fix things and more. I always leave impressed at how down to earth these guys are. Chris checked my oil after it had been leaking. Even though the problem actually stemmed from another oil company not doing a great job he had no bad blood! Thanks to everyone and Chris for their hard work!

I have been going here for more than a year now for inspection, oil change, any repairs. Everybody here has been very friendly, polite, and very knowledgable. From the person greeting you in the office to the person working on your car. One time I had an oil change, oil filter turned out to be defective, my car started to burn the oil and smoke was everywhere while I was in the highway. I got my car towed to this place that night, it was late so I couldn’t leave a message for the next day. My husband dropped me off the next morning so I could tell the store what happened. Chris has already started to work on my car, oil changed, filter changed, had my car running to test that everything is all good. No questions asked, they fixed everything with no extra charge. I appreciate that so much. They make COSTUMER SERVICE their priority and that should be true for all car shops. Every time I come here I always go away satisfied and feel that my car was well taken care of. I recommend every one to come here for sure. I seriously don’t understand why they have bad reviews, they treat everyone so kindly and they are so professional.

Wow! Great customer service! Excellent experience with my oil change today.

My fiancee went here for a state inspection. They said that it did not pass and quoted her $700 to replace a really bad power steering leak and valve cover gasket on our 2.2l 4th gen Toyota Camry.Yeah, I (her fiance) just replaced the valve cover gasket a few months ago, and the power steering has been full of fluid for over 3 years, never having any fluid added - not even once. I just checked it again and it is 100% full of fluid.Perhaps they mistook engine oil for power steering fluid. The oil pump seal is leaking, and I am planning on replacing it when I do the timing belt/water pump in a few months. The engine has been meticulously topped off, and if you check the dipstick, the engine is completely up to the full mark of the dipstick. So while not ideal, this engine oil leak is really not a big deal for now, and certainly not a reason to fail an inspection.So either they were being complete crooks and attempted to replace the power steering system which was 100% fine, or they were completely incompetent and believed that an oil pump seal leak was the power steering system.Needless to say, they gave us the car back without even a print out stating that the vehicle failed the inspection and what points it failed on.Well be immediately going to another state inspection location where Im positive it will pass. If not I will edit this post and admit my fault. (Edit: It just passed inspection no problem at the next place we went to.)I have used this shop in the past for inspections, and they have lost my business.

THIS IS A CROOKED SHOP! READ THIS AND DO NOT GO HERE. BEWARE! My son took his truck for a $25 inspection at this place. The brakes were fine. I had driven it that morning. The tech told my son it would not pass inspection because of the brakes but of course they could fix them. Not knowing, my son agreed. My son texted me and told me what had happened so I ask him to put the tech on the phone. When I asked the tech about it he said they were REQUIRED BY THE STATE TO GET UNDER THE TRUCK AND LOOK AT THE BRAKES. THIS IS A LIE. My son had agreed to the work and it was complete when I found out so it was too late to stop them. BOTTOM LINE...THEY SAW AN OPPORTUNITY TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF A YOUNG PERSON AND DID IT. WHAT SHOULD HAVE BEEN A $25 INSPECTION TURNED INTO A $180 UNNECESSARY REPAIR THAT DID NOT NEED TO HAPPEN FOR IT TO PASS INSPECTION. THEY ARE CROOKED AND WILL TAKE ADVANTAGE OF WHO EVER THEY CAN. BEWARE!

I recently visited this location to get my oil changed. The attendant gave me a friendly greeting and asked me what service I needed done to my car. He was very polite and professional. He even opened up the storefront door for me. I would recommend this business to anyone in the Carrollton area. The oil change itself took about ten minutes and then I was on my way. Great place, I’ve been here once before and decided to start coming back to take care of my car. They are so nice, and considerate. I am a young woman and most mechanics usually try to take advantage of my lack of car knowledge, but this place doesn’t. They have great staff and are always willing to help me out. Chris and Robert took care of my car this time, but so far everyone I’ve encountered there is always great!

Ive been coming here for years, decided it was time for an oil change and not only did I receive excellent customer service, i was reminded about getting my inspection done by the new inspector Mr. Silva. He had excellent people skills and was very helpful on what needed to be done on my vehicle before it gets too dangerous to drive. Felt very comfortable and not ripped off. Without a doubt I will continue to bring my vehicle to Francisco.

First time coming to this location and received exceptional customer service. The inspector/ manager Francisco was quick to inform me of my vehicle needs. I came in on my lunch break, pulled up, I was serviced immediately. Waited maybe 10 minutes and I was out of the door. They checked my fluids and used the best oil for my car.

I came in for an oil change and tune up. They were amazing filled all fluids and cleaned my car as well as windows. They even noticed my inspection was due so I got it done. Great customer support and service. You guys earned a client for life.

He gave me a quote which was reasonably priced and I felt completely comfortable the entire time. Ive been to other shops where I feel like Im being ripped off and they just sort of gave me the creeps. Not this place. Very cool. My only gripe is they are understaffed. Earlier this year, I had to return at a later date to get an oil change because they were busy. I wont take away any stars for that because it didnt really affect my experience. I showed up at 6:00 pm with a hot engine and Max and Cooper stayed two hours after closing to put in a new radiator and hose. They helped me so much. I highly recommend this Kwik Kar. I have been here before for a oil change and they were great then. I appreciate the guys going beyond the call of duty and giving me the best service ever. This place is great. Theyve always taken care of me in a timely fashion. Theyve never overcharged me or claimed that something needed fixing that didnt. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone thats having car troubles or that needs regular maintenance

I would give this place a zero if I could. They said they would give me a discount if I did an oil change and clean out my engine— didn’t get that discount. THEN, HERE’S THE KICKER— as I was paying and about to leave to get in my car, I realized my car was in 3 lanes of traffic horizontally. The guy that pulled my car out when they were done did not put my car in park, so it rolled down the incline into oncoming traffic. Luckily good samaritans stopped and turned on their hazards. I understand mistakes happen but that is a BIG mistake coming from people that work on cars for a living.

I was in desperate need of getting my headlight replaced today. I had gone to Auto Zone and Firestone, and neither were able to do it.Firestone specifically claimed, due to the make/model of my car, they couldn’t do it without having to take off my front bumper and front tire. Firestone even told me I needed to set an appointment for another day and time. However, I needed this done today! I was traveling on Josey Lane and saw Kwik Kar so I decided to give them a try. I pulled up and Max warmly greeted me. I told him what I needed, and he asked Cooper whether he could do it or not. Within 2 minutes, Cooper replaced my headlight at NO charge. Of course,I tipped him anyway and went on with my day! Awesome customer service!!! Quick, knowledgeable, and friendly!! Couldn’t ask for better service!!

I had my car delivered to the location for a simple repair (serpentine belt). Very professional service and called to let me know that what caused the issue and also needed to be fixed. Competitive labor rates and fast service,I picked up my vehicle in the afternoon when it was done. The manager showed me the part that caused the issue - (tensioner pulley) a common cause for this type of failure. Excellent and anxiety free service. This location was recommended to me and I highly recommend it to you if you are reading this.

Would give 0 if I could. Avoid this shop. Will rip you off. Was charged and billed for a new thermostat. Had problems with radiator and overheating shortly thereafter. Took to another shop, who then, subsequently said thermostat was original and had never been replaced. These crooks refused to acknowledge the issue or reimburse any amount.

I had a couple of minor questions and I got straight answers. He could have told me anything and I may have believed it - but he didnt. Not only was he honest and straightforward, he was professional and courteous. He explained my problem in easy to understand language (no technical jargon). Honest is the best policy. I used to get my oil change and basic maintenance work at this location; and the last time I was there, I was told I needed $800 worth of parts. With my vehicle being fairly new, I was skeptical and got a second and third opinion. All I needed were new rotors and to change the air filters (cabin and engine), which was much less than $800. I am very disappointed, since they are conveniently located by my home. The trust is no longer there due to their dishonesty.Response from the owner was 2 years after I submitted this review. What good is it t me now? Sorry but just work on treating customers better. Best of luck!

I purchased my car 3-5 months prior to driving here for a quick oil change just to see if I can trust these people. Didnt work out like that at all: after taking my car into the garage, within minutes they tell me these 3 problems and a bill of over $300. Now, I came in for a quick oil change of what I thought was a little over $21. I declined all except the oil change and for such a small 4 cylinder car, it was $45!? It was the quick pushy sales pitch of what was wrong with the car when these guys only opened the hood without taking its time to really inspect. I wasnt able to go into the garage either due to safety and see old belt, old brake fluid, anti-freeze needing flush. Right when I walked into the office before sitting down, telling me all these all of a sudden, problems... it just flagged me and felt very uncomfortable with my first visit. Seriously, just ask the customer what would they like to be done!? Thats how you build trust. Not fast talk these cant see the problem because Im a woman, old man, non english speaking person, or a dumb teen.

Another rip off pay more for its worth, make sure they tighten your lugs on your wheels

The guys were very helpful. I was told by another shop in the area that my AC compressor needed to be replaced. The guys found a hose leak, replaced it and serviced my AC. Its working perfect now. They saved me 100s of dollars.

Dishonest... I got brake job done here along with engine oil change. These guys didnt do proper job. Once next oil change time came around, I take it to different shop, I had to do engine oil flush because these guys didnt really do proper job and put enough engine oil in there.

Took my wifes car in here for an oil change because I had a $5 off coupon. Once they pulled the car into the bay I noticed 4 of the employees swarm over the car like vultures on fresh roadkill.Within 5 minutes I had one of them take me out to show me all the work they said needed to be done. Funny how some of it were things that I know when were taken care of and wouldnt need to be done yet. I wont be going back to this location.I gave them 2 stars only because they were quick and clean with the oil change.

Been here all day, but have no complaints. Car needed an oil change, desperately, and it was done quickly. After that my car wouldnt start and needed a new starter. They ordered the part and it took a little while, one gentleman even offered me a soda, but as soon as it arrived they got right to work. I will be bringing my car here again. As an addendum, I knew I was going to need the starter.

They are fair and veryyy honest. They provided me with exceptional customer service throughout the years. All the technicians are sooooo informed with everything and so smart! Love coming to a place that cares about their customers!! Thanksssss for the 15% coupon on the oil change toooo!!!

Had used them in the past for oil change and inspections but will not be going back to them for anything again. Took car in for oil change, inspection and to check on rough noise coming from the engine area and a lube job. I believed I was scammed into buying a power steering pump that was not needed +labor. Was told they’d have to order the pump and should have it the next day or 2. 6 days later pump was in! Was told would only take a few hours to do the work. 1 ½ days later car was “ready” . As I drove away I saw that old inspection sticker was still on window. Returned to shop – “ooopps” they forgot to do the inspection and to come back next day. Needless to say I did not go back, the car still squeaks like it needs a lube and the sound from the engine area came back within 2 days of them “fixing” it. Going to use the Valley View Auto Care down the street from now on. It seems they get a lot of customers that had used this Kwik Kar facility in the past.
