I visited this place yesterday, after first hearing about it from work. I own a 15 yr old Toyota & had noticed a whining noise coming from under the hood. Thinking the worst, I thought I was in for a costly repair. After visiting with Robert the Mgr there, and discovering his knowledge & hands-on approach, I soon was put at ease. Robert discovered that it was simply a loose hose and proceeded to fix it with my permission. After a few minutes, the noise was gone. Relief!. I would recommend. Rob and the team have done a great job helping me get a 1978 C10 Cheyenne repaired and safe to drive. They have overhauled the brakes and suspension so far and Ill be using this shop for more repairs as needed. My dad was in the auto parts business since he was a teenager in the 1970s and I grew up in parts stores and service centers at dealerships. I have worked at dealerships and body shops as a porter and like to think that Im a pretty good judge on shops/mechanics to trust. My trucks AC went out midsummer in Dallas heat. I took my truck into multiple places and they just turned their hands up at me. I then took it into Meiniki in Farmers Branch. The store manager, Robert, was awesome. He told his techs “other places turned him down so it’s up to us to figure out what’s wrong.” And that was the best feeling ever. Left my truck there and went to work. By the time I got off my truck was ready and blowing cool air. The guys there are great. They have a get it done by any means attitude. I can’t say enough how great this place is- all of the guys working there were incredibly helpful and accommodating, and their work was top notch. Robert was kind enough to squeeze my oil change and inspection in at the end of the day, and then did the same the very next day when I brought my fiancé’s car in. He’s the type of guy who treats his customers like family, and he’s a straight shooter to boot. I’ve been to shops where I’ve found mystery charges and such in the receipt: not here. These fellas will tell you if they find something amiss while working on your car but don’t use scare tactics to pressure customers like other places sometimes do. They’re just there to help people. Horrible - charged $200 plus for ac fuild replacement and not sure what else was done but the AC now makes loud humming noise - took the car back to him - says new cars blower needs replacement. Avoid this shop if u can.

-Oil Change took over 1 hours on a Diesel Motor. Shop added two quarts of oil, no charge.- Oil life indicator option was not reset after Oil Change- Oil Change took extremely too long, but shop made up for it by adding necessary oil.

Came in with an explanation of what was going on with my car and these guys knew exactly what it was. They took care of me, got me in and replaced my struts and spark plugs faster than I thought it would take. I would definitely recommend this shop to anybody these guys are honest and do very good work.

When I came to this Meineke my car had an over heating problem. They fixed the fan controller, the thermostat, and the radiator for a decent price. They also identified some other problems with my vehicle and got me fixed up and driving again. This is a great shop and they will work with you on pricing. I would recommend at least a visit.

Went in for a front wheel alignment. They told me it would take 1 to 1.5 hours and it ended up taking 2.5 hours. Customer service was hit or miss and the lobby smelled like cigarettes. I used a $20 off coupon so it only cost $75.

I did not have an appointment, but they said they weren’t busy. It still took 2 hours for them to complete the oil change (I was waiting), and they did not reset my “maintenance required” warning in my car (had to figure out how to do it myself. I had a $20 off synthetic oil change coupon from their website, but it was still $72 even with the coupon.

On 10/31/2019 I had my vehicle towed to this location overnight. I stopped by on 11/1/2019 and told them I had an issue with my vehicle. I was getting a P0304 code (Misfire cylinder 4) That I had already checked. I replaced the spark plug, and moved the ignition coil to another cylinder and the code did not follow. I told them I also had my fuel injectors replaced 6 months prior on all 4 cylinders. At around 12:30pm on 11/1 I received a call that my vehicle was ready for pickup. I left work and arrived at 3:43pm to pay and pickup my vehicle. They said the moved the coils around and flushed the fuel injectors and that fixed the issue. (Weird since I had already moved the coils. Also if a coil is bad, simply moving it wont fix the issue). I paid the $168.94 for the service.Then the manager (Alex) started looking for my keys as they were not with my paperwork. He searched through my vehicle (which was already pulled outside into a parking space) and could not find them. He told me they were looking for them but they have to be around here somewhere. Then he asked the mechanic (Big Mike) where they were and he said he wasnt sure. He had left them with the paperwork. I started looking around for my keys as well and could not find them. At this point, I have no missed a meeting at work as I should have been able to pay for my vehicle and return to work, but couldnt since I had no keys. At this point I got furious. How can a mechanic loose your keys?! FINALLY, after an hour an a half, the other manager (Luis) decides that he is going to call it and call a lock smith to come replace the car key (never mind I had other keys on there). I left with my husband to go cool off and get food because at this point I am angry, especially because no one has seemed to take this seriously.On my way back, I get a call that the locksmith is there, and they need a photo of my ID. Since I was around the corner I said wed be there shortly. Once I got there, the locksmith needed an ID of the registered owner of the vehicle, which I am not, so I had to pay an additional $40 out of my own pocket to get the key replaced. Luis came and offered me a free oil change for the trouble, to which I said I probably wouldnt use because I dont feel as though I could trust that shop with my vehicle again.I drove the vehicle off the lot, and 25 miles later the same check engine light appears with the same code.I call the shop back on Saturday 11/2 and speak with Luis. I was told to bring it back in. I said that Id prefer to just get my money back, and go somewhere else. Luis told me that thats absolutely an option, I just need to get that approved by the owners, but they wont be in until Monday (11/4). I tell him thats fine and Id expect his call. He gave me his personal cell phone number and told me to text with any questions.11/4 rolls by with no answer. Between that day and today (11/13 - 10 days/8 business days) I have called the shop 5 times, and texted Luis 4 time on 11/4,11/5,11/6 and 11/11 with zero response. When I spoke to Luis on 11/6 via phone he said the owners were at the Austin location that day and he would have to wait for them to return. When I asked why he couldnt just call them, he said he need(ed) to tell them face to face and that I paid for a diagnostic service, that I received. I told him the diagnostic was $129, and I got charged $168, so that would mean I was charged $39 in tax. On 11/2 when I spoke with the mechanic that worked on my vehicle he told me he flushed my fuel injectors and when I took it to a new shop, they determined there was trash in my fuel injectors, and found the real issues was a leaking Intake manifold.I paid for a service that I did not receive, and then had to pay additional money to replace my keys, get my car properly diagnosed, tow fees, etc.If you say youre going to offer a refund. Do it. Or call me back. Or tell me you cant, dont just ignore me and think Im going to go away!

Came in with a flat tire, hoping to get it plugged. They tried filling the tIre and when it wasn’t taking air they went ahead and jacked it up and put the spare on for me. I didn’t realize at the time that when I arrived they were actually closing but they didn’t turn me away and we’re incredibly helpful and and informative, all for a great price. From my experince this seems to be a great business and I wont hesitate to go back.
