I have lived here for over a year and have been quite pleased with my experience. From the office staff being helpful and engaging to the maintenance people being courteous and efficient. Even my toddler loves it here. This is a quiet complex compared to Alta that is behind us. Shay and Celeste are amazing and always willing to help where they can.
Great nachos to give to the community as an appreciation and cool people in the office. We always enjoy going in because some one is able to get to us as soon as possible. They are always professional. The value for what you pay when you live here is kinda unmatched if you ask me. Thanks for everything MC
Always have a hard time finding a spot as a resident and as a guest. I registered my car and it still got towed! There’s about 4 visitor spots per building so as a visitor where are we supposed to park? Partner won’t be renewing lease because they can’t find parking ever and there are no carport or garages available and now this? They are late to work because they have to take me. And there is nothing posted on the parking website to indicate where I would have been towed to and no one will answer the phone at the leasing office.
Walls are very thin. I hear everything everywhere. Cheap building materials. pay a little extra $ for the real deal somewhere else
If I can give this place a negative I would have. I applied for a 2 bedroom apartment and got denied. I call and got the Issue fixed and these people give away the apartment to someone else. They did not give me no time to fix the problem and I lost my hard earned money. They need to have better policies and if I was you I will take my money elsewhere.
I had applied back in June for a 2 bedroom apartment and was informed we were approved. They called me in the morning to finalize everything and then later that afternoon they called me to inform me that they made a mistake and unfortunately gave my apartment to someone else. They had the audacity to offer me a different 2 bedroom apartment which was 300 more in rent. I was so disappointed specially because I was stuck having to look for a different apartment for me and my 2 babies. The manager was super rude and wouldn’t even acknowledge they were the ones who made the mistake 🤦🏻♀️. The apartments were beautiful but sadly customer service was not.
I thoroughly enjoyed everything they have to offer. The staff is outstanding for one, and the location is superb. I live in close range to Uptown for when I want to go out and close to the airports for when I need to travel, which I do a lot of. I see previous reviews about a train and planes, but its not something that is out of the ordinally. I live in a suburban of a large city so I do expect to hear city sounds in the back ground. Very normal for me. The apartment plan I chose is so nice an comfy, it works for me and I cant say enough about it. I was able to view the about 3 different apartments to help me make my decision, so Im very happy about that.
I thoroughly enjoy staying here for so many reasons! As I relocated from Baltimore due to COVID, I was happy to say that this was an easy move in process. If I’m not mistaken, my leasing agent was Rochelle and she was very nice and was able to help me take advantage of the current special at the time.My apartment is very spacious and I am absolutely in love with the closet space (and how TALL it is) and the huge bathroom area! I also love the backsplash and wine holders that come in my apartment phase - very modern and great for someone who’s looking to make an apartment their home. I also love the extra security on the doors. You CANNOT get in without a key fob.I’ve also rented my washer and dryer and a garage. IF you have the ability to do both of those things, although it costs a lot, I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT. it is a hefty cost but it is very convenient instead of having to go off site to wash or to have to find a place to park as parking is scarce.I look forward to in person events again to see more of what the community has to offer. For maintenance, I’ve never had to wait long. I do not have any pest problems, and the property is beautiful for the most part. VERY QUIET. As long as I can afford to stay here, I will!
Mercer Crossing Team,I am living in Mercer Crossing since 2019 and my family really enjoying staying here.Admin Staff ...You Guys Are ALWAYS GREAT AND RESPONSIVE. Property Manager ..She’s been very helpful, she’s on top of things, bringing back community events, etc..Marco, Fantastic Job - identifying the issue and fixing it quickly.
Nice inside but that doesn’t matter if you like having company over.. my friend has lived her for 2 years and every time we have a night out someone’s car gets towed or we have the worst trouble finding a spot... last night it was me. i registered my car and it still got towed!! visitors parking is a joke there’s only a couple of spots throughout the entire complex & inconsistently placed so where exactly do you park??? this is really frustrating to have to go through. Really wish she hadn’t renewed her lease here........
Theres a red Jeep HDD 158* making noise day and night. Ive never come across a car horning randomly and continuously. Ive been waken up by the noise so many times in the middle of the night. Its also really annoying during the day. Hope someone from the leasing office can communicate to the owner of the car to have it fixed. Its disturbing all of your neighbours!
Great place too live, great area, and the staff here are incredibly great and respectful. Highly recommend leasing here, the community here is great too be apart of.
Almost every day I see a bug in my apartment, from roaches to spiders. Its disgusting! I keep my place tidy and neat, so obviously you guys forgot to pay pest control.
Everythings pretty cool but there are roaches coming from under the stove, roach, bottom cabinets. I feel they are attracted to the garbage disposal also I recently moved into a apartment and it was not cleaned well. i could clearly see dirt in the fridge and other places.
Ive never lived in an apartment where the people are running like they are playing football every night until 4AM. The courtesy patrol only called me back once and she observed 4 adults upstairs with food spread on the counter which means they were having a party. Ive filed numerous complaints by email and in person to the main office and nothing is done. I had to call the police twice in order to get a decent night sleep. Ive never want to live in an apartment and feel like my upstairs neighbors 6302 lives with me. Mercer apartment doesnt care about their black residents. This is why Im moving!!
Nestor is very professional and is always helpful! Completes maintenance requests quickly and thoroughly!
If you want to have guest or come home past 9pm good luck finding parking. Multiple times have drove around the parking lot for over an hour... apartments are very nice inside though
Our A/C thermostat wasn’t turning on to operate at all. I submitted a work order and Nestor, one of the maintenance guys showed up had to be no more than 20 mins. He went through an entire gamut of solutions to discover the batteries were dead. Before replacing the batt’s Nestor showed me where a bit of corrosion was forming on the batt connections, cleaned them and showed me how to stop corrosion for my future reference.
Mercer Apartments are Awesome and Celeste was were informative and professional!!! I definitely recommend!!!
The Worst Apartments EVER paint chipped everywhere take a Look on the out side of the building and they Tow cars like no other so no Visitors!!!!!! And management is very unprofessional!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Would give 0 stars if I could!!!
We have lived here for over a year now and are very happy! The apartment finishes are beautiful, the maintenance staff is timely, and the leasing office is amazing! Several times, I have contacted the leasing office to bring packages inside my apartment. Recently, I called the office and Brooke immediately went to my apartment, put my package inside, and sent me an email that she had done so. She has helped us many times with different requests! We have had a great experience working with all of the leasing professionals and are happy living here!
Arrogant customer service and worst staff. They dont care about the residents situations. They just want to make the money for small things and with the fines.
Management is great. Dog park is cute!
Update: we have a new valet trash, I dont have any problem now, changed my review to 4 star. -1 star for parking problems, I complained few times, I still see cars not parking at the right parking space.Update 06/24/2019: valet trash didnt pick up boxes again!!!!!!!!!Moving out when my lease end, this is frustrating!Ive been living here for more than a year, I just got a warning from management saying my garbage bags not tied, 2nd offense will get $25 fine.I feel like the garbage pickup team have issue with me or something, I dont have garbage everyday since Ive been busy at work. One time, they didnt take any of my boxes for a week, I leave it out every day, and only boxes, they still didnt take it(I always make sure my boxes are flat, and between garbage can and wall. I always take it out between time frame 7-8pm), I was so angry, so I called leasing office, they requested to be picked by trash company.I just take out my garbage yesterday(first time in a week, I was working a lot of overtime that week), and got a warning. Meanwhile I see a lot people did NOT tie their garbage bag, and leave trash can out all day, no warning at all. This makes me feel sad after a whole day of work, and come home with this problem. I dont have time and patient to solve this problem since I will be busy for the next few months. I guess I will just take extra precautions not give them chance to pin anything on me. I feel frustrated to take out any garbage now.I was going to sign another year since this is close to work, but I feel like this is a sign for me to move out after my lease end. After reading all the review, I feel like parking in phase 2 is not too bad, I can find a parking space everyday, thats not my concern.I dont hear any noise from my neighbor, but Im not sure about neighbor below me.Overall its a good place to live until you have problem with garbage team :(
Absolutely love my new apartment!! What an amazing beautiful new place to live. I have been here for almost 2 years and have been treated with respect and love from the beginning. The grounds are always clean, the staff is always friendly and the safety of the occupants is number 1. I want to thank the management for always giving their best for any situation. The community is growing around Mercer Crossing Apartments which makes it a wonderful place to live. Its definitely worth it, I highly recommend!!!
We have been here a little over a year now and we love it. The staff is very friendly and the maintenance team is great, especially Will & Pete who are quick and efficient. The only downside is the parking for visitors (we no longer have that problem since getting a garage) and some minor things with trash service. Overall happy living here!
The community management team has come a long way..... I have been here since March 2020 (COVID) and have seen many good changes in how the property has progressively improved. The management is friendly, responsive and look to the needs of the residents first! Great customer service in play here... Will recommend Mercer Crossing to many of my colleagues who are relocating to the Dallas area as a stopping place for home while they are awaiting permanent housing in the area. Keep up the great work! Also like to give a shout out to your awesome Property Manager, Celeste !!!!! Keep up the great work!!!!!!!
Edit: They were able to come out and fix my A/C in a timely manner so my wife and I didn’t have to sleep in the heat again.Original: My AC has gone out 3 times in the past month, there’s literally no parking within a mile if you come home after 9:00pm, and I’m pretty sure my neighbor is a drug dealer. I’m currently sitting here with the fans on full, drenched in my sweat to the smell of weed as I’m sure my neighbor is high as a kite. If I could give 0 stars I would.
From the first encounter the front office staff has been nothing but AMAZING! I cant wait to be apart of the community. Racquel and Zach have been most helpful in my transition from TN to TX. Thank you guys for your efficiency, professionalism, overall support and genuine kindness.
I totally love this apartment. the maintenance team is awesome with getting things fixed. The office crew is always on top of things. I love how centrally it is located to everything! The service you get plus the luxury is so worth it:) This is definitely home :)
Loves this apartment. Its my best apartment so far. Quick maintenance and clean area.
The size and layout of the A2 floorplan caught my eye right away and when I went to tour, I was very happy with the apartment. All the staff was very helpful throughout the process of signing and reiterated that I could reach out with any questions. I look forward to moving in!
Mercer Crossing Apartments are the best. The staff are so sweet always there to assist. The apartments are super clean even outside in the apartment complex I have never seen trash laying on the group or pool. The apartments are also really spacious and is a safe area I have never been on a situation were I felt unsafe. If you want to find some really good apartments to live at you should really consider moving to this apartments you won’t regret it!
The office staff is very friendly and helpful. Move in was a breeze and if I have any issues they are willing to help. This rating is based on their customer service alone. This was also a deciding factor on me leasing here to begin with. Good Customer service goes such a long way! Zac and Shay are particularly helpful!!
It’s already been a year an a half here and it’s still magical. Shay and the whole team are beyond helpful. They treat you like family and are people focused first. If you’re looking for a home please don’t overlook this gem. We are a community so if that’s what you’re looking for please join us.
Brooke was super helpful moving in. She was absolutely amazing! Made it a easy seamless process. The phase 2 units are TO DIE FOR....you see a lot of apartments around here charging the luxury price without the features and details to go with the tag...let’s just say they didn’t spare any expense! Definitely stop in to see and ask for Brooke!...you won’t be disappointed!
The apartments are super nice! Anybody that’s looking for a place to live I would totally recommend these apartments. The environment is great, staff is super friendly and can’t complain about any of it! I love it! Y’all go check it out! :)
I just wanted to say thank you to the staff at Mercer Crossing. Everyone has been so kind and welcoming I truly appreciate everyone that has assisted in my transition from TN to TX. Raquel, Zack and Brooke have all been AMAZING and helpful. Thank you!
This place is amazing and asked to be hands-down the best apartment I’ve ever lived in. I have never had any complaints as long as I’ve lived here and the maintenance team is always on time. Will is always helping me with my Maintenance request and is very personable. If you’re looking for a good environment a great set up this is your place
Do not believe the Google rates.Do your legwork.Go to the apartment and meet 3 tenants at least and ask them to rate out of five stars. And you will see the true rates. It is easy to manipulate the rates. They deserve 1-1.5 stars.
Our A/C unit was broken and Mercer’s Crossing staff sent maintenance over right away! Will was awesome and fixed the A/C unit quickly and efficiently. Awesome, quick & easy.
Mercer Crossing is a great community to live in. The staff is wonderful! Amenities are great! The apartment units are very well kept and maintenance is great at resolving issues in a timely manner. Wilmer, one of the maintenance guys, is friendly and makes the tenants feels comfortable. Very safe and quiet neighborhood as well!
I just moved into the complex November of 2019. It has been an amazing experience. I needed a few things needed when I first moved in and Sean, Brooke, CaeLoni has went above and beyond to make sure Im taking care of. I needed a few things when I first moved in and they all made sure that it was fixed in 1 or 2 days. I dont have any pets and they made sure to get my carpet replaced in my closet and bedroom. That is not heard of and that is the reason why Im writing this review. Also I needed a garage and Brooke made sure I got the garage I needed. This has been amazing that they listen and understand what I needed and go beyond in customer service. Thank you guys.
Amazing apartments! They’re beautiful from the inside out and it’s always clean. The pools are always clean and it has a BBQ area! I love it! My family and I have a place to hangout in the heat. Thank you sooo much to all the management team for all the hard work and the improvements. It has been so much easier now and specially a big shout out to the maintenance guy Wilmer, he has been amazing with his work. Thank you, I’m looking forward for the next year.
I love this apartment complex. The office staff is super friendly and the maintenance is always attentive when something goes wrong! I always get Wilmer and he is at my front door no more than 30 minutes after I have submitted my issue. The apartments are super clean and they are very modern, the space is super spacious. Very comfy living. I recommend to anyone who is barely moving out, and anyone with living experiences!
I’ve had a very pleasant experience here. Friendly staff, Maintenance is quick to make repairs, grounds are kept up very well.My only drawbacks have been the theft of packages from front door deliveries and parking. So I’d suggest getting a garage or carport.
I have to start by saying the complex is beautiful, the apartments are nice and the area is kept clean. However - there is one major issue that nobody from the leasing team seems to be able to address and that is parking.I received a follow up phone call a few days after moving in and shared how disappointing the parking situation was. Even tonight I just came home at 9pm and it took me 15 minutes to drive around to find an open spot... on the OTHER SIDE of the complex. Most nights when I get home late from work there not even ONE single uncovered spot available! Literally ANYWHERE on property. Leasing team was supposed to follow up with a call back but... radio silence!! They only suggested to park across the street at the Hilton DoubleTree! Are you kidding me?! Your residents are spending upwards of $1200+/month on an apartment, the least you could do is make sure there are enough spaces available for them to park on property! I refuse to feel obligated to take an additional expense because they can not seem to be able to provide for their residents! Forget even having a guest over in the evening. Considering breaking my lease and I haven’t even been here a month! What a headache!!!!
The office staff are helpful the property is very nice
An absolute world class management team. They go hand in hand with the beautiful apartments. Any complaints I ever had were immediately taken care of and there were very few. Great neighbors too. You will not go wrong calling these apartments home.
Update 1/16/20:They have since addressed and resolved the outstanding problem and honored the referral reward.Old review:I have been mostly happy with my stay here, but I am writing this review specifically for the resident referral bonus.I had referred my best friend to this apartment complex. Everyone in the office knew who we were and that I was referring her, and assured me I would get the $500 referral bonus every time we asked. However no one instructed us on *how* to get the bonus, which requires checking a specific box on the application, and once that step is passed in the application process it cannot be retroactively fixed, even though we had email trails to show that I was the referral. So I was ultimately told that I wouldn’t get the bonus because of one checkbox. That’s a lot of money to not be able to correct.Hopefully others can learn from this experience. Make sure to specifically ask how to fill out the application for this or they may not tell you how, and then it’s too late.
The one star is for the property is location which is perfect for us. Take one star away for the following 4 items, parking, staff/management, security & amenities. Walls are not thin side to side but all units have laminate hardwood so unless your on the 3rd floor you hear everything from your neighbors above you.(laundry, dishes, toilet etc) Parking is not enforced there are not enough spots for residents nonetheless guests. We have returned from nights out to find someone parked in our reserved spot 6 times in the 5 months we have been here. Parking will be better now because they opened the next phase where nobody is living yet but dont let that fool you. We actually got complimented by a maintenance person for picking up our dogs droppings which you rarely see anyone else do. Watch out for land mines. The unit next to us was vandalized and we were never notified we were just told an email would be sent out . Management is typical of these type of propertys the right hand doesnt know what the left hand is doing. You better make sure you get it in writing because that person may be gone next time you go in and if not they dont communicate with each other so you get a different story depending on who you get. The only amenity that is nice is the gym. Everything smells new and looks good(granite, laminate)and when they offer specials for 1st month rent free it sounds to good to be true. This property has great potential maybe one day it will get there. We will be moving the first chance we get.
I was very excited to move into the apartments almost two years ago and am pleased to say the excitement still exist today! The staff, maintenance and security are all very friendly and have been helpful during my residence at Mercer Crossing. The grounds are maintained nicely and activities are available for the residents to participate in, I can say with confidence that I found a great home! I highly recommend.
I have been here for 3 months and have fallen in love with the apartments! When I viewed all of the reviews about parking I was reluctant, but the staff was more than helpful with my concerns! Since I have been here I have not had any issues finding parking spaces. The community is centrally located and convenient for any direction you may be headed in. There are plenty of eateries and shopping centers in the area. If you want to simplify your life and live stress free Mercer Crossing is the place you need be!
I am living here from last 17 months and from the day 1 I am pretty disappointed with the maintenance, parking and sometimes staff. The hallways and stairs are most times dirty and upon calling multiple times they hardly take an immediate action or do a power wash. You just have to make a habit of living in this unhygienic place. It was so unfortunate that due to the pandemic I wasnt able to move out but will be doing that pretty soon and many of my friends has the same feedback about this community. Most buildings are having dirty hallways and stairs. They offer move in specials to attract public but you wont be happy staying here. I never recommend this to any one.No enough Parking slots and if you come in after 7 pm you have to spend at least 15-20 minutes to find a parking and most times you go park in neighborhood.Staff is no friendly as they pretend to when you move in. They hardly ever understand your concerns. My previous review-It’s just been 2 days and I started hating this community because of no enough parking spots. I would never recommend this community to anyone. I am paying 1700+ a month and each day I have to make 10-15 rounds to look for parking spot and yesterday I had to park at my friends community. What a disaster!! These guys have garages and make you pay $120 a month and even car port you won’t get near your home. If you have someone visiting, ask them to come in cab or be ready to pay $300 for tow. They run monthly specials but after move in, I hope everyone suffers with parking issue.Community manager - look into this most common issue of your community and resolve it soon. I am pretty sure to leave after my lease ends, if this would be a common issue.
The maintenance staff is so sweet and attentive. Making sure everything is up and running. Never had any problems. The apartments are really nice inside and out!
Im very happy and pleased that Raquel Blackmon was able to make my application process very smooth and stress free. She helped me get an awesome deal on my apartment and Im looking forward to my stay there.
I have been a resident at Mercer Crossing since December 2016. It has been a great experience! I have a beautiful one bedroom with a lake view. The only issue at all has been parking, BUT! The office does offer carports and other parking options for you. I now have a carport and love it! The pools are gorgeous and the resident events are so fun! :)
Very pleased with the office atmosphere and the tour of a beautiful property. I got the chance to speak to residents that currently live there and they said they couldnt be happier. That was nice to confirm, so it looks like Ill be moving in. I recommend to speak with Shay, he was extremely helpful.
Mercer Crossing Apartment is a beautiful place to live! The area is family oriented. The office staff is professional and friendly, always doing activities for the residents . The maintenance team are always on time. The are just great !
A big shout out the Wil in the maintenance department who took care of our plumbing problem today. While everyone is being very cautious these days I appreciated him taking care of the problem for us. It’s quality service by a nice young man that make living here so easy. Thank you Wil!
I have had a very positive experience with Mercer Crossing so far. From the office admins. to maintenance, everyone has been very responsive and helpful. I really appreciate everything that has been done to make my move/transition as easy as possible.Thank you very much.Brandi
I love my home! I downsized from a house and I am so happy that everything fit! I am so happy to have all the shelving, bookshelves and space in my entire home! It is so cozy! The property itself is beautiful and so convenient to everything I need. My drive time to Dallas is quick, so I have plenty of time to enjoy local restaurants nearby after work! The management staff has been wonderful throughout my transition! Thanks
The best place I’ve ever lived!! So nice and professional!
Mercer crossing is my Very first apartment to live in and I absolutely love it! First thing I want to say is Andrea was so helpful with our whole leasing process and anything else that we have needed her to do for us. All the maintenance issues (which have been very minimal) have been fixed within the same day literally!!!!This place is gorgeous!!! Our apartment is really nice, And the out door amenities are beautiful! I highly recommend this place!
Let me start by saying I moved from an excellent place. It’s been a bumpy road here.Over $100 of extra fees per month.... so factor that into your budget if you plan to live here. Outside smells like garbage mostly because the MANDATORY valet trash that you pay for hasn’t been consistent and has all sorts of extra rules that make it pointless to use. The fitness center has about 60% of the electric equipment working at any given time. Parking is a major problem for residents and guests alike. Oh unless you add yet another $25 fee to park, but that doesn’t help guests who likely have to park far away or risk getting towed (yet another way for them to make extra money). Maintenance couldn’t do anything about the two things I’ve requested. Trust me there’s more that has made the experience not worth the money to live here.On the positive side, the staff are very friendly, the apartment interiors are adequate, and the location is nice for my commute.
Wanted to give a shout out to Pete for taking care of my maintenance request. Super quick and very friendly! Thank you
I plan on moving the minute my lease is up! When I first moved in my apartment was still filled with trash, had not been cleaned and the washer and dryer that was supposed to be in my unit was not there. Because of this they gave me a discount in my washer and dryer for my lease term that they tried to revoke months later as they lost the details to where they allowed for it.Like most other reviews, the biggest complaint is parking. It is never available and they are always coming up with new parking rules. Because I have both a company vehicle and regular vehicle, in order to be able to park both safely, I had to purchase a garage for an additional $125/ month because they don’t allow you to park in visitor no more than 7 days in a row. On top of that, it took about 2 months to get a garage because they kept giving me the run around saying they were doing an audit. I was told I was on a waiting list and when I went in a month later, I was told my name was never put on the list. And last, the maintenance requests are a joke. I reported a broken refrigerator and I am on day 6, and nobody has been out to see about fixing it. The staff is not helpful and for the money I pay, it is not worth it. Do not waste your time and money here!!!
Absolutely in love with my apartment! The privacy and convenience of my private garage cannot be beat. Great community and you can tell the staff love what they do. Very prompt and willing to resolve any concerns. Overall amazing experiences and couldn’t be happier!
***Avoid*** Mercer Crossing has beautiful luxury apartments (for the most part) however the management/leasing team is super unprofessional! I have followed up this entire week and received a email about move in specials that were currently going on... finally received a call back from “Brooke” who accused me of having an invalid ssn! she then states ...” hold on let me see what my manager wants to do” she said “yeah my manager is requiring a upfront deposit and first months rent” possibly she thinks this will scare me off lol sorry you’re dealing with a educated woman of color! Try again Brooke! I then ask about the promotion that was emailed to me ...she said oh yea...that’s only two weeks free...so false advertising and extremely deceptive...I paid $350 for fees and I wouldn’t move into this complex if the rent was free ...coming from someone who’s worked in management for 13 years, this was terrible customer service and possibly only done to applicants of a “darker” nature..if I could rate this complex negative 10 I would! ***Avoid***
I came to check the apartments because I want to move a place that is clean and had a beautiful property. Also, good atmosphere. And I found more that I was expect. Because the staff are so nice and helpful specially the guy Barahona. I definitely want to move to these apartments.
Best apartment complex EVER! The staff is super nice and maintenance fixes request in a timely manner. I definitely hit the jackpot at this complex
Just moved in within a days of looking at the place and the office agent Michelle was so on top of things. She made sure the process was easy and comfortable though it was rush job. The location is convenient and we got lucky and got a great apartment size and area. I am recommending to others!
Moving out today after our year lease. For the most part we really did have a good experience overall. Leasing office is very nice. Just want to be honest about some things people should know about before moving in.1- Yes, parking is a problem almost everywhere you will live!! Its not as BAD as people make it out to be, yes it gets crowded and busy by the time 5pm rolls around. Some people are lazy and need to be 10ft away from their building, just walk a little!! We have NEVER had to walk more than 1 minute to get to our building.2- yes there is a train nearby, it is loud but we barely notice it. you can probably hear it in your apartment but its done and over with after a minute and maybe passes 2 times a day..3- 99% of people with dogs DO pick up after themselves, theres a select few who dont and ruins it for everyone4- the apartments are very nice, we had no issues. the things that were broken upon move in were never fixed however it didnt stop our day to day living. we lived one building in from luna rd side and it was VERY noisy with cars/traffic etc5- People NEED to learn how to drive with CAUTION!!!! People are absolutely ridiculous here zooming in at 40mph almost hitting me and my dog MULTIPLE TIMES!! Even with the speed bumps its very scary.. Part of the reason I am moving out i literally couldnt walk around the complex safely without fearing i was going to get hit by a car and thats not me exaggerating.6- hallways are pretty gross because the trash people drag garbage bags and they rip and foods/liquids spill out and makes the place look gross. broken lights around complex that havent been fixed for over a year so it makes the complex look kind of trashy compared to the other 2 on the same side of the street.. neighbor down the hall lets her dog pee in the hallway so that was always fun to look at...we are moving to a brand new complex down the street and paying the same amount living on the first floor with beautiful amenities. Im not saying do not live here, but do your research cause you can get a better bang for your buck!
Celest is the absolute best! Any issue I’ve had she has gone over and beyond to make sure it’s solved! Great apartments, up to date & no wait for maintenance requests especially when Ray is on the job! Overall they have a great team that’s always willing to help!
Sad to say I am leaving after 3 years, but I am happy to say I can leave on a high note. My wife and I are moving into a home, but Mercer Crossing has been nothing short of great. The property is beautiful and I have never had issues with my apartment or the people. Any time I had any repairs needed, the maintenance team was on top of their game. The best Ive ever seen, honestly...
Ive lived at Mercer Crossing for 2.5 years and my experience has really been nothing but positive. The management has gone to bat for me on more than one occasion and they treat me well. They are always very friendly, responsive, and I appreciate the fact that they have community events for things like Halloween, Super Bowl, and the occasional random get-together. Without events, its a lot harder to meet the neighbors! My experience with maintenance has also always been positive. They almost always come out within 24 hours. It is rare they go beyond that unless it is a very low priority item, like a light bulb or something silly. But even then, its rare to take long.Yes, apartment living can and will have some drawbacks, like parking issues (but I have a garage, so dont care about those), but nothing is perfect. Overall, the location, community and management are great. Weve been happy here.
My review is finally here! :-)1.)Why did I choose MC? Michelle was really nice and competent. I wish I could say the same about my experiences with the surrounding leasing offices.2.) Everybody in the leasing office is cool and approachable. I usually go for coffee in the morning, and they always speak.3.) The clubhouse stay on point! From homemade hot chocolate to a Super Bowl party!4.) Lastly, communication is there! Nothing has ever come as a surprise. This place is awesome!
Have only been living here a couple months now, and the staff are both friendly and accessible. If you need anything, youre covered. Location is great, and amenities are A+. Would recommend for anyone who doesnt want to deal with typical apartment stresses. Absolutely love the floorplan I moved into and suggest to you to check out the Phase 2 decor. Its gorgeous.
My spouse and I have lived here since March of this year and we absolutely love it! For one the location is fantastic! This is in a great area seeing that we are in the middle of some of the greatest cities Texas has to offer! Including but not limited to Dallas, Fort Worth and Denton! Everywhere is such an easy commute. Location, Location, Location! The staff here is great; they are willing to go above and beyond for the community. I just love that they host community events almost every week for us and our guest; even for your pets! Don’t forget about maintenance.. these guys are perfect in every way. I really enjoy it here and no other place has came close to comparison to Mercer Crossing!
Due to time constraints, I had to buy a different apartment that isnt Mercer. However, CaeLoni was very helpful and extremely responsive via email. This high level of service isnt easy to get, so you can probably expect great treatment from their staff if you live at Mercer. Thanks again for showing me your beautiful apartment. The kitchen was outstanding.
I have had nothing put positive experiences while living here, if you are looking for a peacefulplace and a convenient location this place is for you. Very affordable and accommodating to everyone. The staff is very nice & friendly and the apartments are beautiful!! The property is well lit and parking is ample. The people who wrote bad reviews for towing were obviously towed for parking where they should not have and are upset so they create issues to retaliate. I see plenty of signs and information to help people to avoid towing, in other words, if your car doesnt belong then dont park there - its that simple. No need to blame someone else.
We Love staying @ Mercer Crossing Apartments. Been living here since 2016 and we enjoy our stay here. Theres a new management for almost a year. Jennifer, Ian, Daniela and rest of the team are top notch in their service. As these are almost brand new apartments, the maintenance issues are none but if there are any, they get taken care very quickly. We dont want to live anywhere else in the neighborhood. Having said that, we recently extended our stay for further 13 months.
I don’t know where to start. don’t get me wrong, these apartments are beautiful on the inside and out, if you can deal with dog poop everywhere from residents not picking up after their pets or are fine with minor maintenance issues like baseboard paint going onto the shower or only have ONE KITCHEN DRAWER.for noise: if you have noisy upstairs neighbors the management does Not care. i’m not talking about the occasional barstool dragging on the floor noise, i’m talking about kids yelling upstairs stopping around 24/7 and rearranging furniture and vacuuming at 3 am!! no matter how many times you put in a complaint, the leasing office won’t even contact the noisy neighbor. there is also a train track about .5 - 1 mile from the complex. now trains have never bothered me since i grew up literally right next to one but i know it does bother a lot of people, and it is not something they tell you about when moving in. i didn’t even know there were tracks near by until i heard the horns at night. also the trains are very slow and like to randomly stop at the crossing on royal! so beware if you don’t want to be late to work.maintenance: they do come VERY quickly to get things “fixed” if they even fix them. my oven was broken from the day i moved in up until about 3 months of living here. i put in a request to get the oven fixed and a lightbulb fixed in my bedroom. i was at work but my boyfriend was home and they said in the follow up email that they fixed both the oven and the lightbulb but did not even fix the oven! the maintenance man told my boyfriend “i don’t know how to fix the oven” and left. and my boyfriend works maintenance at a different apartment complex so we didn’t think that was very professional. also have a camera set up in the kitchen which i had to use footage to prove they didn’t fix the oven so they would come back and actually fix it!dog poop: hardly anyone that lives here picks up after their animals. and i have a dog, and poop bags cost $5 for a pack of 8 bag rolls. and complaining to the management about stepping in poop every day won’t make them fix anything. they simply don’t care.parking: if you get off work after 5pm, good luck finding a spot near your building, or even in the complex! i’ve had nights where i had to park at the hotel across the street and hope i won’t get towed. if you want to have parking you’ll have to pay for a covered spot or a garage. even if you pay for a garage, beware the mailman and residents parking infront of your garage to get mail! complaining about that won’t do anything either, even though you pay $200 a month for the garage.trash: they probably won’t even give you the required trash can to put outside your front door for the valet trash to come pick it up. or won’t even tell you that the trash man won’t pick up bags on the floor. the trash man hardly even comes and if you have more than one bag he won’t take more than one per day.overall just don’t move here! the price is not worth all the troubles you’ll have to live with.
AVOID AT ALL COST!!! Management sacrifices customers for their own bottom line and makes things very difficult...They have a dinosaur auto-pay system that is always having errors yet they penalize residents for errors on THEIR END. I suspect they do this because they get evaluated on how much $$ they can bring in for the company. Notice that theyre always running promos. That probably tells you that theyre having a hard time retaining residents because people are moving out due to the low quality. Move here for the price, but be ready for the frustration.
The atmosphere here is great!! The location is just perfect. I have been here for some months and I have zero complaints. Daniela attended me when I first came in and did a wonderful job at it. Thank you again Daniela and the entire staff!
Parking has been a mess but the new apartment managers think towing cars will solve everything. Greedy! You can pay extra for a space or get towed. Don’t even think about having friends over. You’re now a college kid and your visitors are monitored. You get 1 space per apartment and your visitors have to register their car online every day/ time they visit. There are 20 visitor spaces for over 200 apartments and if you’re handicap there is only 1 space for every 5 buildings. Seems as if this is illegal and a big lawsuit to come. The women in the office are rude. You can pay your rent online for a fee or in person if you don’t have a job since the office closes at 5:30 and there is no drop box. Good luck with that! The apartments are beautiful but for 2,000 a month you shouldn’t be treated as a child.
No parking! Do not rent here!!!Another night on the prowl for a parking spot. Been here for about 6 months. This is normal if I decide to have a night out on the town. No parking is available in the complex unless I want to pay an additional fee. 20 minutes of stalking so far...you will have the same issues if you decide to waste your money on Mercer crossing apartments. There are beautiful apartments in the area with ample or dedicated parking and the units are nicer. Don’t waste your money or time here.
The apartment is pretty new. The neighbors are nice. The staffs are friendly majority of the time... BUT,They relied on previous resident to cleanup the apartment, so don’t expect a very clean apartment when you move in.Staircase has a very stinky smell, and nobody will ever cleanup.Parking is horrible. Maybe to some people is a good workout if you don’t mind walking 20 minutes to reach your door from the parking lot every night...... Guests have to register to park. They did a very good job enforcing the tow..Also, Good luck with package delivery, especially if you are buying from amazon but ship via USPS, they don’t usually deliver till after the office is closed. And they won’t drop the package off by your door or at the parcel locker because they are instructed to drop off at the office. So you have to call USPS each time to figure out what happen. The hold time on the phone with USPS is the fun part.Another note, since it’s near the airport, you will hear noises from any flights that pass by.. but this doesn’t bother me much.Anyways, I regret moving in! But I will be moving out soon!
They’re quick to reply to any issues and make sure you sign for any packages left for you at the leasing office. My last place let people “claim” packages without checking whose was whose. Love it here!
I’ve been living here for the past year and it has been great for my family and myself. Amazing staff and very clean and friendly community!!
I would not recommend this apartments to NO ONE this place has horrible parking for residents & guests, they didnt build enough parking for units, trash over flow the weekend and residents that pay for cover parking, still take free parking away from those that dont have cover parking. Its sad that we cant even go to the store or visit friends & family because we have to worry about getting a parking space, if we dont do this we will be tow for parking in the wrong spots. We cant wait for our lease to be up and never look back!!!!!
We are very very upset. The parking is horrible. My daughter had a guest to come over and they had moved the visitors parking spaces. It seem to me, that while they were moving the parking spaces around, they would not have had the tow truck to come around until its all finish. Her guest got to her apartment around 9:00 pm and her car was towed at 9:10, plus it was raining that night. Who do you think is going to ride around looking for visitor parking especially when they moved the one in front of the building. They charged $300.00 to tow her car 2 miles away and dont even care that its not right. Its very frustrating because the parking is an issue and plus it is not parking friendly for her guest - which is one every blue moon. We have friends that wanted to move here but I suggest to move somewhere where they care about you and your guest. Who want to move somewhere when you guest dont have a place to park. Why not start the towing after 11:59 - for people that stay over night. Come on lets think about everyone - not just the people who are paying you money but for the ones that might because a resident.
Ive lived here since June 2018 and havent had any issues. Front office staff is very friendly and I truly enjoy living here. My only feedback is that I wish there was more guest parking. Its difficult for friends and family to visit me on the weekends since there are few visitor parking spots available.
The parking here sucks. There arent enough parking spots to accommodate the residents here. You are only guaranteed a parking if you pay extra for covered parking or a parking garage. I already pay $1,400 a month for a one bedroom apt so I was never enticed to pay even more for a parking spot.It takes me only 10 minutes to travel from work to my apt here at mercer but it takes me 30 minutes to find a parking. If you get home after 7, you cannot find a parking spot in front of your apartment building. You have to walk past 2 or 3 apartment buildings just to get from the parking spot you fought for to your apt.Other than that issue these apartments are a 7 out of 10 for me. They are spacious, luxurious and new. I love how secluded they are but also love how 635 is a rock throw away. The only thing that kills me is the parking. It sucks even more when you have to lug up several bags of groceries from one end of the apartment complex to the other.I am counting down my days until my lease is up.
The quality of this property has declined significantly over the past two and a half years. Management and office personnel turn over on a regular basis. Parking is a nightmare. Break-ins and theft are commonplace. There are no security cameras.Plenty of newer, better managed, more secure apartment complexes in the Mercer Crossing area. Do your homework before choosing this one.
Thank goodness, only one more day left.. If you think loud banging above you all the time and no parking is painful, try AC issues.. It keeps, freezing up,forming block of ice around the coils where filter is.. Have to cut off for 12hrs or more until thaws.. Had looked several times.... Good news, perfect weather for lifting up Windows.. One more day left.. And out of here.👍
So far, it hasn’t been a month from my move in and slowly regretting my decision. The office is HORRIBLE when it comes to communication. They always say they will call back when they don’t and forget. A part of the apartment wood was damaged before I moved in that was promised to be fixed the first week... it has been a month and still not fixed and my apartment has still not been cleaned for the move in. The office team has contacted me saying that the maids could not enter my apartment cause it was “dead bolted” and would not request their services again when in fact I was home all day with the door completely unlocked. They constantly are misinformed and horribly organized, hardly answer their phone or call back. If service and proper management conduct means something to you, think again before moving here4/27 UPDATEFrom my previous complaint there has been no resolution or compensation. I feel like it is my responsibility to let people know: There is no 24 hotline to answer any residential emergencies or concerns. Towing residents is common, due to office misinformation and negligence. The towing company they use is a 6 min drive but still considered “out of county “ so they charge the full $300. Visitor spots are very limited and your friends need to register before parking and have a time limit for how many times they can register and stay in a visitor spot. Managers are not in the office on the weekend so if you have any emergency or pressing matters needing manager attention, you must wait after the weekend. Management is unorganized and they give out $100 incentive to those who write positive reviews so do not trust their ratings.
Great management!! They really care about you AND the property. There’s a quick turn around for work orders which is a big plus. I LOVE living here and don’t plan on moving anytime soon.
There is literally nowhere to park here if you don’t pay for covered parking... it’s ridiculous!
Parking is horrible for visitors, not enough parking and if you are not lucky to find a visitor parking place your car will be towed. They must have a contract with Southwest Auto Tow company to patrol their parking lot every night and tow cars. It cost $320 to get our car back and it was only towed 7 minutes down the road. If you want to live there warn you visitor that they cannot stay overnight for the fear that their car would be towed. It would be cheaper to stay in a hotel near by than visit people at this apartment complex.
