Its a nice place to live until summer. When summer hits and you have an apartment that faces the pool you have to listen to people blare their music with no regard to everyone else. It is so loud you can tell what the song is and even sing along to it. I complained last year to management and it didnt do any good. So no point in complaining this year.

ANGELA is a terrible leasing agent. I scheduled an appointment online and she texted me as soon as a scheduled it and told me that they didn’t have what I was looking for and nothing to show. So I decided to come in a little later to see what the office would say when I showed up and they had a bunch of apartments available!!! Exactly what I was looking for!! My price range and move in date.... Another lady helped me I can’t remember her name (the papers are in my car). I guess ANGELA just didn’t want to be bothered... I’m in debate if I should lease here or not...

My friend currently lives here and i have never heard or witnessed such chaos from an apartment. They break into your apartments and tell you the maintenance man has a key not knowing people keep cameras inside their homes as well as on the outside. STAY AWAY FROM HERE!!!!!!!

This has been the worst company Ive ever dealt with. The staff is rude. They will charge you at move out for things you have reported at move in. The elevators stay down. We had a leak in the ceiling right outside of our door that we reported for over a year. They are not organized. They will point fingers and push off responsibilities as often as they can. I regret moving to this property. The halls smell and the pipes in the garage leaks on cars. When you report it they will say they will send someone to look at it but nothing ever changes.

Normally in a service business like apartment rentals, the only time you hear from the residents is to complain. However, I want to compliment the management staff at the Chateau de Ville. All, especially Ms. George, has acted professionally and with kindness. My apartment and the surrounding property is unbelievably beautiful and immaculately maintained. My transition from endless hotels, to my own apartment, has been a joy. I plan on staying here when my lease renews in three months. I cannot say enough about the Chateau de Ville. If the staff at the Chateau de Ville is an example of how you manage your other properties, It should be a template for other complexes. I am a veteran and senior citizen. I will tell anyone looking to move. They should put the Chateau de Ville at the top of their list.

Not bad for 20 something year old apartments. The units are clean and nice, very nice pool and other amenities. Yes, the stairwells are a little grungy but they are stairwells so they don’t have to be pristine. I haven’t had any issues with the hallways stinking or trash being left out. In fact they have some of the cleanest trash chute “rooms” I have ever seen. You definitely can smell people cooking or smoking only while in the hallway but when you consider it’s a closed in community hallway it’s understandable. They are also repainting the outside and it’s making a big difference. It’s also secure, I feel safe here and they do a good job making sure the gates are properly working to protect the vehicles and property.Don’t be fooled by the elevators, they can’t seem to keep them up and running (if you can’t use stairs then don’t move here) but obesity is supposedly a problem in America so maybe they are just trying to help. Oh wait, “help”, that’s not a familiar word to management. Getting a work order done in a decent amount of time will not happen if you live here. Some of my work orders have taken over a month or just been closed completely without being done. They don’t seem to monitor or walk the property either so broken sprinklers run all day and signage hangs off the outside wall. Finally, a phone call won’t do much good. Most (not all) of the employees in the office are dismissive, seem bothered they have to answer a call and usually don’t have an answer. If you value customer service don’t expect much after you move in.Still giving this place 4 stars because it’s good enough and reasonably priced. I’ve seen better but you get what you pay for. I am just listing things I wish I had know to prepare for when moving in. So just come in with low standards from management and you’ll love it here!

Its hard to believe that these apartments were recently built. From the outside it seems like a magnificent beautiful complex but this is one book you should not judge by its cover. My husband and I moved in about 7 months ago and we were ready to move out after the first two weeks of living here. The first week we moved in, it thunderstormed and half of our apartment flooded. Like walking in puddles flooded. Come to find out that not only do the apartments flood when it rains real hard, but they also flood when the cheap metal pipes get backed up and waste water comes up through the kitchen sink and next thing you know you come home, open your apartment door, and step in a puddle of waste water. We have had multiple neighbors who have experienced this so we decided to not buy any new furniture so that it wont get ruined from living here. We got an eviction notice the second week after we moved in because we thought we had set up our account to automatically draft our rent from our bank account but apparently we didnt. A simple courtesy call or email to remind us that rent was due and we need to set up our account online is what I would expect from a professional leasing office. Nope, they couldnt call or email us but they had no problem sticking an eviction notice on our door two weeks after we moved in. Someone just moved into the unit above ours and it literally sounds like hes having a stomp party with elephants 24 hours a day. Between the stomping, floor creaking, and his loud phone conversations, its impossible to relax. Just comes down to the fact that the floors are paper thin because they were cheaply constructed like everything else in this apartment complex. We CANNOT WAIT to move out of this place!!!

Honest review from a younger couple. Read this if youre considering living here, because I wrote some important tips on the bottom! We lived here for 2 years and loved it! We only moved because the new job was too far away, or else we would have happily stayed longer. All the staff people were super friendly and the maintenance was throughout our 2 years extremely fast and reliable! For example: we made a service request at 11 PM for some smaller issue and the following day at 8 AM they came to fix it. It was ridiculously fast and reliable. I am not making this up! One time one single tile in the kitchen was cracked and they ended up replacing almost all the kitchen tiles with new ones! Most of the apartments have a huge balcony, which we have used a lot. You get a dedicated parking spot in the garage. Pool area was only busy during weekends and we never had a noise issue. The whole Pool itself and the 24/7 gym got a complete upgrade in Summer 2018 and was great to use! The people who live here are in general very friendly and respectful. We never had an issue. Not too many young people. More families and adults. Its also very dog friendly with access to a dog park and beautiful parks in walking distance (Vitruvian Park, Winn Park, Easement Park, etc.) You get all the benefits of living in walking distance near parks without actually living in an overpriced area like a Vitruvian Park Building where there is too much traffic and chaos in the evenings and weekends (Bars, Restaurants, etc.). The posted pictures of constructions is long time done. Also, the pictures of the dirty walls is exclusively in the stairway which almost no one uses, because there are elevators. The hallways and elevators are very clean. The cleaning crew comes around often and are friendly as well. If you dont like the cold, this will be a good fit for you because it heats up from the big windows. We needed the AC on almost the entire year, if its a mild winter.A few tips if you want to stay here:- Search an apartment on the top floor, because the walls are pretty thin and you will hear people walking above you if youre not on the top.- Search an apartment that is facing the pool area. It is so much nicer to look at and quieter. It will block the car noises from the main streets (Spring Valley Rd. and Midway Rd.)- DO NOT get an apartment on the bottom floor, because we heard and saw that it flooded inside some of those units during extreme rain/storm. Do yourself a favor and get an apartment on the top floor, you wont regret it! :)Edit:When we initially moved it, there was an ongoing elevator problem. One of them always seemed to have issues and stopped working. But in 2018 they completely replaced/renovated the elevators and we experiences no issues since then.

If by writing this review I can save at least one person from living here, I will be happy. Our experience at Chateau Ville was not a good one. While there were some positives, they were significantly outweighed by what we had to put up with in the two years we lived in the complex. On our first week of living there we were given an eviction notice due to an accounting error on the apartment managers end. No phone call, email or any notification besides an eviction letter within four days of living there. That should give you a good indication of how Chateau de Villes management treats their tenants. They are rude, aloof, arrogant and could not give a damn about what your problems are. The only leasing agent who cares is Sarah and she was the only one who actually cared about tenants problems and tried her best to fix them. If anything in your apartment needs a repair expect to wait 3-4 days before you see anything from the office. Once a repair has eventually been made there is no indication that work is done, no follow up, nothing.Hope you like roaches, there are TONS of them in this complex. And not just in the units, theyre in all the common spaces, the hallways, the pool area, the mailroom. We got to the point where we were having to make pest control requests every two weeks just to keep them at bay.Other tenants there are lazy and leave trash in the hallways or in the trash chute closet (hence the roaches) all of the hallways are closed off and smell horrible most of the time. Many residents let their animals deficate or fee in the hallways and wont clean it up. AC doesnt work for the hallways and get up to about 90 degrees in the summer. Speaking of the hallways- we also had an issue with a resident spray painting racist slurs all over the walls along the hallway, classy. The pool is a sh*t show when its warm, kids run rampant and screaming while parents sit on their balcony and dont even watch them. Non-residents are constantly at the pool filling it up to the point where it isnt enjoyable to use.Parking is a nightmare, management claims there is enough parking for one guaranteed or marked parking spot and that there is enough free parking for other cars... Nope, good luck finding a spot that isnt marked, apparently management cant count or doesnt care because you will constantly have other people parking in your dedicated spot and there isnt enough free parking for all of the tenants in the garage.Prices go up every year to unreasonable points, our rent jumped $350 in two years..Want peace and quiet? Dont expect it, youre a quarter of a mile away from the fire station and will be startled awake all hours of the night. There are flooding issues and pipe backups in many units, make sure youre not on the first floor.Have issues getting up and down stairs? Well the elevators never work so youll have to find a way around that, also the stairwells are disgusting and are infested with roaches and sewage leaks from burst pipes. To top off the list, management will charge you for items that werent even damaged at move out and will call it a courtesy when they reduce the bullsh*t charges they put on you by thirty dollars. I wish I would have never picked this complex to live in, do yourself a favor and run while you can.

Too expensive for what you get. Management do not care about tenets. Non mgmt staff are sweet ladies!Shoddy upgrades. Units are pretty but not always functional. Pet owners are inconsiderate. Maintenance do not know how to knock, but do resolve most issues quickly. Overall its not worth the rental rates. Mgmt needs customer service training.

This place is the absolute worst! Yes the apartment is nice and all but the management is non-existent. Work orders/maintenance requests take forever, you literately have to call everyday to ask. The Rental Office does not care about tenants but when the need you to pay/do/sign for anything they will harass you with notes on the door and follow-up with emails till you do. The Manger does not return calls either..very annoying Bunch! I never write reviews but I had to let others considering to move here know. I wish there was a no star option. Glad I left!

If you dont mind smoke smells skunk smells and everything smells live here the management is rude most of them. Security Guard was called out 10 times or more for skunk smell they finally figured by the 11th month who the problem was go figure. Then would not let me sign another lease but would never tell me why? I rate this place a 0 for management and the way they handle things.

I waited a couple of years and looked at many places and decided on chateau de ville and love love love them . Yes elevators may be down from time to time but usually up running more than they are down . They are always taking care of property and while construction was happening during summer it was not a big inconvenience... pool was closed but we have access to the villas pool as well so it wasnt a big problem . It is very quiet here and only issue I had was parking but management did fix that and Theresa is a Dream and very helpful as was Tina . I plan on staying !I am seeing people had issues with maintenance taking a long time ?? I am not sure where they live but when I have put in a work order they came the next day and I put in order online at 6 pm ... my mother I refered here and she moved in to the very large unit had 7 work orders submitted on a Sunday evening online and they arrived Monday and completed all work orders . Infinnia, Tina have been a great help if someone in office wasnt available so any issues never fell on deaf ears .I have seen people complain about being evicted because they werent given a reminder to set up their online portal etc ... really I am pretty sure you know when your rent is due ! Always the 1st ! You do not have to pay online you may also drop in their office to the rent drop box, so if your evicted its because you never paid it lol your given several days to pay your rent before an eviction . Kind of ridiculous people are allowed to leave bad reviews due to not paying their bills or parking where they should or violating rules you were fully aware of when moving in you signed off on ! I am seeing these complaints and some issues have come up of inconsiderate pet owners but these problems are always addressed and this happens everywhere unfortunately. I have never had an issue with maintenance not showing up within a day to fix things they are always prompt and management is taking care of problems in a very timely fashion . I really like living here and like anywhere there will be a few hiccups however Infinnia is quick to handle problems as they arise . My mom recently moved here and is pleased also, especially with how they are constantly upgrading and maintaining property.
