We rented tables and chairs for our wedding last weekend. A few days before the wedding, we had a handful of people cancel, so we called to cancel those tables and chairs for a refund. We called a little more than 25 hours before delivery but we’re told we were less than 24 hours to delivery, so they couldn’t refund us. I understand we cut it close, but we were still more than 24 hours prior to delivery, which was the window we were told for cancellation. We let this go and didn’t argue it. However, we were most disappointed with the condition the chairs came in, especially for the $1200 we spent. They were very dusty and dirty as if they’re been in storage for months without cleaning. I didn’t expect perfect chairs since they are used frequently, but I definitely expected clean chairs. They ended up sending someone out to replace the chairs with clean ones. The delivery person told us he was unsure why we got dirty chairs as they’re supposed to hand pick the clean ones for events and such. We were happy to get clean chairs for our wedding, but cannot trust this company for the future and will be taking our business elsewhere.

Eric, Branch Manager, was so helpful and polite. He went above and beyond to get me the correct ladder for my needs. He was courteous and helpful. I will go there first for any rentals I may need in the future.

Had issues with Fargo Chair Rentals where they did a no call or no show for tables and chairs for a wedding. We needed that day. We were in a bind and Rentall saved the day by getting us table, chairs, and table clothes in a rush. I would recommend them.

Good service however tried to return on Sunday since rented on Saturday and no one is there and gates locked. Not sure how to return equipment.

Easy, quick, affordable.All the employees I encountered were extremely friendly. Theyre nice and helpful. The prices are very reasonable, if anything low, and the guys help you load the items. Will definitely go to them again.

Great place, Propane was cheap and they filled my tank full. None of that 15lbs stuff you get from exchange stations.

I have done business with Rental and Paul for the past 6 years. Weve rented party supplies to scaffolding. Weve rented a storage unit and Penske moving truck/trailer. Paul and his crew have been nothing short of amazing to do business with. I am a repeat customer and recommend Rental!!

I have used Rentall on 25th for chairs for a couple of work events. They have been easy to work with and friendly when I call in to reserve chairs and friendly and helpful when I go to pick them up. Super easy process and Ive had no billing problems.

Great guys to work with...I rented a trailer and brought it back earlier than I had planned. The very next day they called and refunded 50% of the amount I had paid due to my early return...great business ethics

I would avoid this place, or at least do not rent their ice auger.. probably just avoid them all together though. I rented an ice auger on 2/1.. what a hunk of junk.. shouldve known better. Long story short the throttle wouldnt work and wouldnt stay running..messed around for 90+ minutes trying to drill a hole. Never got it drilled, some fellow fisherman drilled a couple holes for us. Returned it Monday morning 2/4, they asked me how did it run. I told them it didnt run and explained the issues and asked if maybe i could get half my money back or a credit or something for the hassle.. and they said since i didnt call them Saturday how are they supposed know it wasnt working and Im not trying to rip them off.. yeah this is my scam i do, i go around town renting ice augers for the weekend then return them and demand a refund because it didnt work.. okay bud.. yeah il call ya while im in the middle of nowhere, hey the ice auger doesnt work.. oh let me fix it over the phone. What a joke. Rentall, just keep my money because its the last youll ever get from me and based off of other reviews its the last youll get from others too. Never rent from them they do not maintain their equipment.

I rented a magnetic drill with a defective chuck. I returned it, telling them I had barely been able to tighten it enough to drill one hole, and has needed a vicegrip to get the bit out of the hole. Rather than return my money, Paul charged me for an hours use, and refused to believe the chuck was defective - it was just a bit tight and grinds a bit. DO NOT RENT THEIR MAGNETIC DRILL! They will not have serviced it.

I have decided to never ever rent from Fargo Rentall ever again!-So planning a wedding, I met with them in February to make sure the tent and everything would fit where I want it. Asked about set-up and how long it takes for lights/walls/etc. I then put half the money down in order to hold our renting reservation.- I then sent them a plan/picture of how it all needs to be set up in order for us to have a Tent Permit from the City of Fargo in June. I received no response from them.- 6 days before the wedding, we go in to pay the rest of the money (so now we are paid up in full) and give details on when their people are arriving to set up tents. I tell them we can set tables and chairs (the little things).-3 days before wedding/2 days before setup, they call me and ask if we were providing the Labor for the tent/wall/light set up. I said no. They said oh, looks like the first guy gave you the wrong estimate for it then. He has it that you are doing the labor. I said no, why would a bride and groom who have no idea how to set up a tent, say we would do that!?-They say they can send another guy for 2.5 hours, but it will cost us an additional $350!!! Which is BS because it was their fault! (also I highly doubt they pay that other employee $140 an hour to get to that outrageous fee)-Day of set up comes- we get it done.- Day of tare down- one guy comes to pick up the porta pottys, and my father then asks him if they are bringing more people for tearing down the tent. (we had already folded chairs/tables/taken down side walls of tents) The guy said yes, multiple people would be coming out. When the next person showed up, it was one guy, so they lied to our face.- We had also rented 4 patio heaters, and one of them didnt even work. (and I had multiple people try to get it, and it didnt work)- Overall not satisfied with them at all.

Went in to rent a skidsteer they said they had 1 in. I get there and they couldnt get it started. Waited around for 30 mins and finally they get it going. Take it off the lot and damn thing wouldnt go into high idle, this is after it had been warmed up.Take it back to store and tell them that it would run. Granted i did get a refund on my C.C. but now i have to wait 3 days for funds are returned. They had one that they where using for snow removal of their lot but they didnt even offer to let me take that instead.Edit: If the fuel cleared up, why was i not called Zach knew i needed the machine?

I rented a weed cutter. I told them I needed to cut a trail through the woods. That the branches were as thick as a pencil or about the size of a dime. The guy told me what I was Renting would do the trick. I got it out in the morning woods and it barely cut a weed. It was one with a steel blade on it. I googled that brand,and it dasa it was suppose to cut through a trer up to an inch thick. I brought it back and told them what happened. Of course I got the run around. I was told I was misinformed,I was told I got a discount for the weekend rate. Excuses on and on. So I work in the Construction industry. I will make sure that every contractor never rentsr from them again. Plus Im going to post this on Facebook and get everyones review. The guys name is Paul

I learned today that when they quote a monthly rate that means 28 days. I was told that it was commonly known industry knowledge that 28 days is a month. Why not simply tell people when they ask for rates that the rate is for 4 weeks rather than be misleading and say a month? Seems like a really simple fix to be clear with people. Really was misled and they were unwilling to work with me on a compromise to keep me as a satisfied customer.So in reading their response I figure I would provide more information so the readers judge for themselves. I rented this lift Oct 16th being told I was renting it for a month for $1000. Today Nov 15th I was planning on returning it. One would think that is a months time. As I outlined previously they consider a month 28 days rather than an actual month of time. I get the call today asking how much longer I was needing it extra which is when I found out the confusion of a month. So for those extra 3 days they tell me they are going to charge me $600. I ask what is the weekly rate which I am told is $600 so at this point I may as well keep it for an extra week. They then call me back 5 mins later to tell me if I could return it today they will only charge me $400 extra (keep in mind I still have only had it a month) because it would work better for their future bookings if they could have it back today. They didnt call me back to try and resolve the miscommunication they called back because the reality is they had someone else to rent it. I really still needed its use for two weeks but they didnt want to work with me on that either so I will return it next Monday which is a week later than the 28 days they call a month. Clearly customer service doesnt matter to them but I will let anyone reading this be the judge.I still ask why not just communicate the time properly and say the rate is for 4 weeks and avoid a situation like this? It is intentionally misleading.

I do not recommend renting from Fargo Rentall. They improperly attached a trailer to my pickup. It became unhitched while I was driving down the freeway and it caused significant damage to my pickup and could very easily have caused injuries to others who were on the road with me. (thankfully it didn t) When they were asked to take some responsibility for the accident, (since they were the ones who attached the trailer incorrectly) they lied to insurance investigators and hid behind fine print in the rental contract to avoid any liablity.
