10/10 would recommend Straus Tailor for anyone looking for alterations! My wedding gown arrived very late from the company I ordered it from, leaving less than 2 weeks for alterations. I brought it in to Pabitra as soon as I got the dress and she had it back to me in a week! Fast turnaround time, very reasonable cost, and great service. Plus the gown fit perfectly after the alterations!

I’ve gone to Straus multiple times to get my clothes altered! Some for work, some for just regular clothes and they never fail to impress me every single time. As an attorney, I need to be able to rely on a professional tailor shop when I need repairs or (too much food) alterations for my suits. This particular suit has been operated on by the exact same hand when I purchased them. I felt reassured that I have found the exact same hands, years later, that tailored my suits to my needs. Altered my wedding dress in timely manner when my dress still didnt fit they finished it over night and it was absolutely perfect! Cant wait for my big day! Highly recommend!

Definitely the best tailor shop in Fargo hands down. Pabitra really knows her work. Brought a couple of pants and shirts to get tailored fit and she did a really good job. Customer service was great. And I also got all my clothes back in no time. Will definitely recommend to anyone whos trying to get some work done on their clothes.

Absolutely amazing service! My bridesmaid dress was to small and Pabitra delivered. I took my dress in and received it two days later. No only fixed but also saw the evidence that she went the extra mile to ensure my dress fit perfectly! This was my first time ever going to a tailor shop and this shop should be cherished. She did an incredible job with my wedding dress! It took forever to get in from the bridal store and she was able to get it fitted perfect for me having only a few weeks before my wedding to do it.

I brought them a $337 NorthFace jacket to get patched they had it for a week so I called and asked about it said they needed more time this being my only winter jacket said i needed sooner than later they called me back an hour later said it was done, they did a HORRIBLE JOB it was RUSHED and I will NEVER USE THEM AGAIN! An hour after I initially posted this review I received a call asking for me to bring my jacket back saying the day would make me happy and to take down the review. I brought in my friend who used to be a seamstress, the person that helped me was rude to me saying it was my fault for not telling her?! I told her I wanted a small very discreet patch, and she was telling my friend to make her listen meaning myself. I told her I have ears. She said she did a good job, which was not the case so I did not feel comfortable leaving it with her to fix, I felt she would only make it look worse, she said the review was my mistake no my mistake was going there!

Pabrita tailored the silk dress and coat I will be wearing for my anniversary party in June. She was great throughout the process. She made excellent suggestions, her work was highly skilled, and it was reasonably priced. As a bonus, she was warm and pleasant to work with.Im really glad I went to the Straus Tailor Shop and will be returning. : )

Pabitra tailored my wedding dress and my husbands tuxedo for our big day. My dress needed quite a bit of work and it looked absolutely perfect once she was done with it! We are so glad we came to her. She is an excellent tailor for both women and mens clothing!

I called last minute on a Saturday to have a patch sewn on to my Taekwondo outfit and have the pants and shirt Hamed not only did they do a perfect job so it looks professionally done but they did the job out of the blue in a few hours highly recommend. I will definitely use them for all my tailor needs!
