I took my car there for an oil change and they discovered an engine mount bracket that was cracked, which they took me out to show to me. Kamal was amazing and ordered the part for me and changed it all in record time. And at a very reasonable price! I was very pleased with the service and would highly recommend.

I used to go to lube-it and it used to be a good experience. But with this new management, i had a worst experience. Never going back again. Went for a oil change, they pointed list of different things needs to be changed. I dont even think they did the oil change correctly. And they hacked up the price too, thats fine with me. bt what irritated me is on the lube-it site,they have a discount and coupons. When i asked for the discount,the new owner said I am the new owner here, everything has changed and we dont accept it. Its right there on the site and he said we dont accept it. Worst experience

A Korean mechanic refused to follow instruction that was recommended for replacing a bulb without damaging other parts and insisted his procedure by keep prying on a plastic part with a metal tool that he repeatedly failed to remove. The plastic part ended up being damaged.I took the car to Advance Auto Parts and replaced the bulb in 3 min without even touching the part the Korean mechanic damaged.Afterwards, other guys from this shop inspected and found other safety hazards, such as a bolt half-way screwed, and corrected the problem.It turned out the Korean guy was not even a real mechanic and was only a safety inspector who somehow decided to intervene when another person was working on my car (perhaps for being older or for having worked there longer).Services turned out to be good other than the inspection guy, but I must remember not to let that guy near my car.

THEY STOLE OR SOLD MY CAR!!!!!It started with a simple state inspection....If we could give them a negative zero, we would. DO NOT GO THERE AND LEAVE YOUR CAR. After years of taking our cars there and nd feeling comfortable with their work, on July 15, we took our car for the third time to be repaired of the same thing. It kept overheating and putting our family at risk by the car releasing fumes though the vents and overheating!Not only that, the last time we saw our car was that Thursday 15. They STOLE or SOLD my car and, when we went to look for it, it was nowhere to be found!!! They told us that we had picked it up which we had not and, that they couldnt find our car. They gave us all the excuses in the books. We asked to talk to the owner and were told so many things, from he stepped out, to he is out of the country. We talked to KAMAL, the manager as well as to some of the mechanics. Edwin and Jorge told us that they had left the key in the ignition and had parked the car in the back of the building. Who in their right mind does that!!!??? We had to get the police involved and made multiple reports. It has been time consuming, energy draining and now we do not have the car.This is GROSS NEGLIGENCE. Do yourselves a favor and do not go there!!

Ive been coming to this Lube It location for some time, and had considered trying to find somewhere new because I felt like every time I came for an oil change, they found 5 other things to fix. But Im so glad I gave this place one more shot! They are under new management, and thank goodness for that. Kamal, their customer service rep, really goes above and beyond. He showed me his concerns with my brakes - both on my car and after he had removed the pad - and comped my brake fluid flush entirely. He also replaced the battery in my spare key free of charge (under old management, I paid $30 for that). He even offered me a ride home so I could wait out the repairs in my living room while I waited for my husband to get off work. They have made a loyal customer out of me!

Worst place ever.! Never going back again to this place. I used to go here before and everything was fair but this new manager has a very high attitude and poor customer service. Just trying to charge extra money, basically I got ripped off! If I could give -10, even that would not be enough.

I came for a meeting and saw this location and decided to do an oil change and the gentleman that performed the oil change was very helpful helping me with my 2016 Toyota Corolla. He recommended to change my cabin air filter and my engine air filter. I would recommend this place and come again.

The employees are below average in skills and do not follow the correct methods to do the oil change, they have just break the oil filter housing because they applied too much pressure on it.Previously they broken the side window for behind the driver seat because of wrong jacking up the car while Tire rotations. I have lost $400 to replace the window mechanism.

And Santos the guys no complaints about then I do have a complaint about the place the waiting area was too lCold it was like you were outside very disappointed hope it will be fixed by the time I got for my next oil change.

Went for a simple oil change and ended up having to buy a brand new oil pan because they stripped the plug and then told me the screw didnt fit. I took my car home and had a driveway full of oil. Took my car immediately back and They called themselves fixing it then wanted me to pay $300 for a new oil pan when my car has never had a leak period! Unbelievable I will report them to the Better Business Bureau!!

I have been to this place few times I always had issues with them.The customer service is absolutely rude & very unprofessional. Mechanics are not speaking proper English hard to understand them. I had to do oil changes they brought up 3 separate issues that had to be fix otherwise it could to lead to a problem. I trusted him I said okay. Its been almost one week I have my engine light on nothing had been even touched by them they just charged me for nothing other than only oil change. They are very expensive, just ripping off people. Their work quality is very low. I highly suggest everyone no to go there.

For just an oil change, Lube It is ok, but they have just raised their prices. They always push add on work which may or may not be necessary, but their prices are higher than other car repair places. Their COVID safety steps are almost non-existent. Weve been going here for many years but wont go back until after the COVID restrictions have been fully lifted.

I swing by on my way to/from work easily off my commute to Fairfax.Their full service oil change is reasonably priced way to keep our cars in good working order; and I find the team trustworthy when advising me regarding any other more serious maintenance such as breaks. Friendly staff and a waiting room with tv, water or coffee. Snacking/restaurant options are also within walking distance for longer jobs.Happy to recommend to all!

Been coming here on and off for 10 plus years. Sad to say, service changed. Really bad service today. Girl at desk had no manners. She saw me waiting at counter and she didnt even say Hi or Be with you, nothing. Kept looking at her papers and ignored me while she was doing some calculations on her computer. Waited 5 to 7 minutes to check-in my car. She said, Oh I got it, its already in only after I asked her may I get service. The worker however in the garage was good mannered. When pulling out, nobody directed me out of the bay. Could have been a dangerous situation had it been an inexperienced driver or elderly person.

Worst service ever I got from front desk . And guy who change oil for my car was big lier . He told me to change some part which cost around $300 .If not then my car will not pass inspection .But he told me if I give him $100 he can fix that . when I went another place for inspection my car passed . I found Lube-It from a quick internet search and found some coupons on their website. Called a head of time just so I would be sure I kept the waiting to a minimum, and got a full fuel injection cleaning done with their $10.00 off coupon. Can’t beat that, that’s for sure. I was in and out of there in what felt like a snap, and they did a thorough job. I’ll be back to use the rest of the coupons there too.

My usual spot was busy yesterday so I did a quick search on google and found this place. The legends r true, oil changes are really quick. I was really impressed and was about to start coming here moving forward but then something happened today...I was driving back to work after picking up lunch and I noticed the engine light came on. I stopped and popped open the hood and discovered that the guy didn’t even close the oil cap and even left the funnel in there!!!!! So I was driving for literally a whole day spilling oil as I drove. Good thing I caught it eventually or else I would’ve had bigger problems smh. Thank God the oil cap was still in the engine bay. I had to drive a co workers car to auto zone to buy 3 qts of oil smh

Ive been around this neighborhood for some time now and Ive had bad or disappointing experiences with local businesses (ex. theft, failure to replace oil, etc..) By chance I tried Lube-It and have been a loyal customer ever since with all four of my vehicles. Fast, friendly service by knowledgeable personnel that I trust and feel lucky to have found them.

Great place to take care of your cars! The whole staff there and specially Mr. Santos have always provided me with exceptionally customer service. They take care of my car’s oil change, cleaning, check for parts that need to be replaced, they check my wipers, fluids that are running low. There are many places I could go around Northern Virginia, but this is the place where I take my cars. Absoluttly recomend that you check it out!

Please dont go here. They will suggest different repairs and rob your money. For a regular oil change car they say use synthetic oil. They cheated my husband on the same. They made my husband to buy a oil change cupon cost $200. Be careful about the fake reviews. Better go to some other place. Be careful about the 5 start review.

Quick service but the vehicle inspector scared me that something was wrong with my car connection and said he would fix it for $30.00 extra. I had no choice. I paid him extra cash. I think he ripped me off because he could. Dont take your car for inspection here.

Mine is Toyota Camry 2007. I went for oil change. They told my car will take only synthetic oil change. I made it. Whe I verified outside every one told it will take regular oil change.They literally cheated me.

The other reviews on here are bogus (or perhaps simply outdated .. I noticed most of them are several years old). I just came back from the shop. Went there to begin with because I saw the good google reviews. Sadly, I was super super super disappointed. Here are the details:- The 10 minute oil change actually took 35 minutes.- Not a single smile or friendly gesture from any employee.- They kept trying to upsell me .. over and over again.- The oil changing guy went and sat in my drivers seat .. no protective cover. Got dirty oil grease all over it.- At the end, they didnt even help guide my car out of the pit.- This is perhaps the most minor point .. but several of the guys there did not speak adequate English. They didnt understand me .. and I didnt understand them.This is by far the rudest oil change shop Ive ever been to. They know theyve got business coming in no matter what because theyre in a sweet location. So they dont really care if they do a good job or treat you with respect.If you want to learn the hard way ... go ahead and stop by. Youll find everything I mentioned here to be true. I will never go back. And Im really disappointed that Google is not doing a better job on ensuring that their reviews arent bogus .. or outdated. Good luck!

I brought a Oil change cupon from you. It is good to use for 4 times. i have 2007 Toyota Camry. when I take the car to lube it, they cheated me saying my car only takes synthetic oil. I asked the lubeit repair team, repeatedly to go for a regular oil change, they told it is not applicable for my car. Recently I come to know that regular oil change is applicable for my car. Lubit it cheated me saying it is not applicable for this car. They totally cheated me.

This place is AWFUL DONT GO went there to get inspection I am out of town working, could not get home when sticker 5/11 ran out I keep my vehicle in great condition no worries, no problems Oh you need brakes, yea I am due for brake change in about 548 miles but not now. I am out of town. I will get my husband to put new ones on when I get home.They rejected my vehicle but his buddy behind me with a 3/11 I sticker oh I come back now I fix my car Can you put sticker on now! April 24, 2014I have been using the services of Lube It in the Merrifield area off Gallows Road for oil changes and car inspections ever since the business arrived at that location. I have always been very happy with the service I had received there until the last year or so. It seems that I became dissatisfied when it went under new ownership or management. The past two times I have been to this Lube It I have paid for full-service and have not received it. I keep my car pretty clean, carpets and interior, so when I get into my vehicle it is sometimes difficult to really notice if it has been vacuumed or if the dash has been cleaned with Armor-All. I drove off today quickly to get to an appointment and noticed that for the SECOND TIME out of my last two visits to Lube It, my car was NOT VACUUMED (there was significant dirt on the floor primarily in the back passenger sheet section) nor was the dash wiped down (I wiped dust off with my hand on the dash). It honestly makes me question whether the fluid checks on my vehicle were actually done that are supposed to be checked under Lube Its Service Checklist. I truly question the integrity of this Lube and recommend to everyone to find another service that you can know is credible and honest, and where you are actually getting what you are paying for without have to question the service. My family has five vehicles we have had serviced regularly for oil changes and inspections at this location. I will not bring my cars to this Lube It again. I will take them to Jiffy Lube in Annandale where I used to have my vehicles serviced and where when I paid for full service, I KNEW THAT I RECEIVED IT.
