They made this experience amazing!! Very professional and fun! I’m terrified of boats, but the attentive crew made me feel safe. They truly want you to have the best time!! If you’re looking for a good time, look no more. This is it!!

Sailed with the Salty Dog for my friend’s bachelorette and had an AMAZING time! We were a large group (20 girls) and they did everything to make sure we enjoyed ourselves. Everything from the music, to the drinks and the crew’s energy was top tier! The transportation to the dock was also very punctual. I would recommend anyone take a trip if they’re considering.

We went for a bachelorette party and we had the time of our lives! Salty Dog is THE catamaran experience you need! It was 20 of us and they were attentive and professional. They interacted with us, laughed with us and it was all very safe. We all had such an amazing time. 10/10 recommend.

The trip was relaxing and the island is of such beauty you have to see it to believe it. I’d recommend this trip 1,000x over. Go if you can!!

This was the boat excursion I wanted. Eric and his crew were absolutely awesome! They were handling everything from drinks to rescuing a party hat (long and funny story) but nonetheless they handled it with great attitudes and atmosphere. I recommend them highly! We had the most AMAZING time on this catamaran. The crew excellent. They did not pack the boat and we felt very safe with their COVID precautions. This excursion is great for all ages, my teenagers all loved it and said it was the best part of their trip. We already can’t wait to do it again. Dont give it too much thought, if youre considering it, just book it!

The cruise was great. Staff were super friendly and constantly checking in with passengers to see if they needed another drink or anything else. Most of the other cruises seem to launch at 9AM, and I was a little ambivalent about the 8AM launch time, but it got us out to the island ahead of all the other boats which was cool. Definitely will return to Salty Dog.

12 of us went and we had a fabulous time!!! The crew was friendly and informative. The water in and around the island is crystal-clear and beautiful. Unlimited drinks kept flowing. Thanks, Salty Dog!!! It was the best day of our vacation!!!

They have the best customer service!!! So kind and funny!!!! We took a tour to icacos on July 12 and enjoyed every minute. The first thing I noticed when we arrived was the Clorox bottles. The boat was so clean, it brought an extra level of comfort knowing they make sure they stay safe along with the guests during these times. The drinks start flowing and the music starts the minute we leave the marina. It was a great atmosphere. The staff joke around with staff and passengers, i literally loved every second!! The beach is beautiful and we got to see a lot of fish while snorkeling. I definitely recommend it and can’t wait to do it again!!

AMAZING EXPERIENCE AND CUSTOMER SERVICE! The Salty Dog Team went above and beyond to ensure that my friends and I not only enjoyed our experience, but also that we could arrive safely and on time. We ran into so many transportation challenges and their team was on the phone with us the night before to coordinate shuttle services for the next morning because as we were 90 minutes are from the dock. They were patent and responsive to every call, email, and text message that we sent.Our boat left on time, the staff was friendly and checked in on us frequently, they ensured everyone was safe during our tour. Lunch and drinks were good! I would totally do this again and strongly recommend this experience. It was worth the time, money, and effort.

This was the best part of my trip to Puerto Rico!! Everyone was so friendly and helpful! Honestly my expectations were completely blown away, when they say drinks included.... THEY MEAN DRINKS INCLUDED my friend!!! There is no such thing as an empty cup on this fun boat! Now if drinking isnt your thing, you still have to book with them! They keep it very tasteful and family friendly!!! Def fun for all ages! You not only get to snorkel but they also take you to this island and you get to swim around for awhile with a bunch of other boats and people! Lunch was so so delicious too! Also they offer transportation from your hotel, we were in San Juan so they drive was a little bit but they pick you up and then drop you off, there was an extra fee for this but worth it if you didnt rent a car! LISTEN TO ME WHEN I SAY......YOU HAVE TO BOOK WITH THE SALTY DOG!!

My experience with Salty Dog Catamaran could not have been better; it was truly a perfect trip. The crew was super friendly, organized, respectful, and made sure that everyone in the group enjoyed their experience. I’m so happy that my friends and I decided to do this excursion!

One of the best sailing and snorkeling excursions Ive ever experienced. The crew was extremely professional, but at the same time laid-back, friendly, and funny. They really made you feel comfortable right off the bat, and I think their quality sets them apart from other providers. They took us to the Icacos islands where we dropped anchor for a while and chilled, and then took us to an amazing reef close-by to snorkel. They provided great insight into the marine wildlife. They mix great rum cocktails for the passengers, and the drinks are included as part of the booking. This was 10 out of 10 experience, great value and great for all ages.

Had lots of fun which made my trip be worth every minute of it. This was my first time on a Katamaran the captain Eric along with Joshua and Nomi were very welcoming and gave the best service. All in all I felt safe and enjoyed it. ( apologies if I misspelled a name)

We booked the Salty Dog for our group of 8 during my friends bachelorette party. From start to finish, they were wonderful! We were able to coordinate pick up and drop off where we were staying in Old San Juan. They were very communicative about COVID guidelines and expectations for the trip. Most of all, the crew was GREAT and we had an absolute blast. It was the highlight of the trip for many members of our group and we would all recommend for anyone visiting Puerto Rico who is looking for a little fun in the sun.

I am so glad we booked with Salty Dog. I researched a few places and I’m sure all the tours are nice, but the crew on Salty Dog made us feel like we were hanging out with old friends. They really took great care of us. We had a CRAZY group on our tour that morning (morning of May 13, 2021 hahahaha!!) They really made it fun. The music was good too. I would highly recommend them and will absolutely book with them again when I come back.

While my kids loved this. I was not very happy with them and I will never book them again. I booked 7 people. I broke my leg and could not go. Called salty dog 5 days before to cancel one ticket and they refused, even though it was within the cancellation policy time. They were rude about it. So I had to pay a extra $100. I will never book them again as there are many more places that offer the same services. Thanks for ruining my trip by your greed.

My husband, stepson (6 year old) and I went on a trip to Icaco with Salty Dog and it was excellent. The captain and the various young men on the trip were attentive and helpful throughout the trip. The catamaran was comfortable even with 30 people on board. Highly recommend!

Absolutely the best experience! Truly great for ALL ages and the only company on the island that allows infants on board!!! A huge plus for us as our Family is a group of 12 with a range of ages from 14 months old to 77 years young so that no one got left out due to age limits. The entire family said this was the best trip ever experienced! We did the afternoon to sunset private tour and it was absolutely beautiful. Traveling from the US I was at first a bit nervous but with other well deserved great reviews and a few initial phone conversations with the owner, helped me tremendously as she was an absolute joy to coordinate with! I felt 100% confident and comfortable with the booking transaction! Once we arrived to the dock the unloading passengers were all so very happy with their tour and said they had great time too and assured us that we would love our trip, that really spoke volumes to me before we even boarded. The catamaran was cleaned and disinfected before we boarded. Extremely friendly personable crew that made us feel so welcomed and meet all our needs and surpassed all our expectations. Salty Dog truly sets the bar hight! Cant wait to return on another family vacation in the future. Great job Salty Dog! Thank you!

This was our first time coming to Puerto Rico, so it was imperative to find great activities with amazing tour guides, lets just say these men went above and beyond!!! Nomar was amazing as our bartender he kept the drinks coming. Luis the captain was exceptional he made sure that we got to and from the boat brought us our belongings and kept them dry! Very attentive to each of us. The host Josh was so laid back and very clear with detailed information on what we was getting on the tour. YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED BOOK WITH THEM!!! WE WILL BE BACK GUYS!!! THE JERSEY GIRLS.. .

I went with a group of 10 and we had a huge party at the catamaran with the help of the crew of course! I even got engaged on the boat. 100% recommended if you are visiting Puerto Rico.

Ive been on many boats in many places and this one was by far the BEST experience Ive had! The crew made the experience 100% worth it (thank you Eric, Nomar and Michelle!). COVID-19 protocols were up to par! Even though the event lasted 5 hours, by the end we didnt want it to end. Definitely worth the price. I will be returning the next time I am in PR!

We had such a great time for my sister’s 30th birthday sunset cruise! We enjoyed every moment despite a little rain on the ride back to the Marina. The Don Q rum was flowing, music was amazing, truly a real party. Highly recommend!

Everything was good but they have charged us too much for half a day. The say this trip is from 8 am till 5 pm and by 1245 we were back on the port. No excuses just back. The snorkel part just went there for 45 minutes. No bad weather tat all but we do not have the time to enjoy this. It felt like the crew just have other plans It is not worthy. We have been on this trip many times always all day long. But not with Salt Dogs

The morning sail was perfect. We were one of the first boats to arrive at the beach, before it got really crowded. The crew was friendly and attentive, and they made sure everyone was safe when in the water. They also helped arrange a taxi afterwards, which was huge since theyre really hard to find in Fajardo.

Super professional crew that knows what they are doing and very attentive to their guests. This was such a good experience, I highly recommend it!

Just perfect. Went on the day sail for the secsond time with 3 children ages 5, 7, 10, and had an amazing time. The crew are very knowledgeable and friendly. Everything was great from beginning to end. No complaints. Took my phone in the ocean in a waterproof case and got some amazing pics. Highly recommend.

Good fellas... we had a great day on this tour. The reason for 4 stars was because the tour was a little shorter than scheduled (there was a major car accident at the highway and they could not honor the original length, as they had another tour in the afternoon on the same catamaran). Also, the snorkeling location was not nice... the coral was basically dead, just a few fish around and no colors whatsoever.But Caycos Island is simply heaven!!! Loved it.

I would definitely recommend this excursion to anyone in or coming to Puerto Rico. A great way to spend half the day. I loved the different portions the trip had such as stopping by the beach and scuba diving. The crew of the ship was also one of the best parts. Carlos, Robert, and Johnathan of the Salty Dog were friendly and helpful. In fact theyre part of the reason my group is going a second time tomorrow!

Salty Dog Catamaran is the BEST crew ever! Eric, Tito, and every crew was very friendly, funny, down-to-earth, experienced, upbeat, and very accommodating GOOD LOOKING HOT MEN in Puerto Rico. I missed them and the island already. Also, the catamaran is NOT crowded which is GREAT! For anybody who book with them, make sure you give them a GOOD Tip! They deserves it.

We booked our trip for my daughters birthday and had a private tour. The crew was very attentive and informative as the water was a little rough getting to Icacos. The destination was beautiful. Kids had a blast. I do feel the need to be more specific when booking the when they trip end time. We were all under the impression that we would be out until 1 then sail back. But we were called off the beach by 11:55 that it was time to go. For the price I felt we were cut short.

The Salty Dog is amazing! Excellent catamaran, super cool crew and unlimited rum - what else is needed? We went yesterday 7/17/21. We went once before (in 2007) and it is still the best day sail/power boat trip. COVID restrictions were loosened recently so boat was almost full. However, everybody was wearing their masks on the dock as required. As soon as you embark, they have their rules and safety orientation - catamarans are super safe so no worries. Most important note: rum drinks are free :) Medallas are $2 each. Sodas, water, and sandwich lunch are also included.The trip starts by sailing straight to Icacos Island (about 45 minutes of leisure power/sailing). We then spent about 90 minutes there: lounging on the white sand beach or floating on crystal clear water, drinks in hand.After, we motor a short distance to Tortuga Reef, where we could snorkel (bring you own mask - they provide fins) or just float on 20 deep water. Since its deep, they also allow jumping off the boat. After an hour so there, we return to the dock.Comments: the boat and crew were super friendly and cool. The music was a bit loud for us old timers but, hey, this is vacation time - Gen Ys on down were really partying! (They even allowed boaters as a group to play their own music through the boats speakers - brought people together nicely). You cannot bring alcohol on the boat so, if you drink, be prepared for strong rum drinks or buying Medalla beer (advice: ask for shots - caveat emptor). They also provide unlimited sodas or water. The sandwich lunch was not great so if you are picky or have a special diet, bring your own. Also, have a strong breakfast! We brought snacks and fruit so it was OK. Bring your own towels. There is a restroom on board. Note: after a morning of drinking, some people can get frisky - shot taking, twerking, and perreo happened. No judgment - this is vacation. But be aware if you plan to bring kids or young teens and you rather not partake. In any case, there is space enough on the boat to move around if you want to stay off the more adult sections.To sum, this was an amazing value and super fun time - 5 stars because 6 is not possible.

Our day on the Salty Dog catamaran was phenomenal! We boarded and due to Covid only had about 20 people on board plus the crew so that was really nice.Our group of 2 (adult and child) both felt very important and the crew was very welcoming.Another guest taught the girl how to feed fish and they swarmed her- she was awe-inspired!!Icacos is a beautiful beach but the reef was very impressive. Lots of fish, colorful coral and even a large sting ray.We highly recommend taking a sail with the Salty Dog!!

Our first visit to Puerto Rico included a trip on the salty dog. A beautiful catamaran with the most professional crew. By the way, Puerto Ricans are beautiful people inside and out. They took us out to a beautiful spot to snorkle around a reef with the fish. We are in our fifties and had no trouble and felt very safe. The crew provides all the support and makes the day wonderful. Our next trip to this beautiful place will includea trip on the Salty Dog.

This is the best catamaran tour Ive ever done! Booking was very easy (Thanks, Pilar!), and I cannot say enough about the crew: Eric, Nomar, Joshua. They made our experience beyond amazing. We were late to our tour, but they were very understanding and made the best of the time we had left. Cant wait to be back and book another tour with them. 10/10, HIGHLY recommend!

This catamaran was an amazing time. My family booked it for our trip and it was the highlight of our trip! The kids loved it! As well as the older generations. Everyone enjoyed the snorkeling and Eric, Michelle and Josh were awesome! If you are visiting! You should book this!

Lots of fun! Cool crew that starts pouring drinks the second you leave the dock. Great for a fun day sail to relax and drink.The snorkeling was pretty poor, Puerto Rico has much better snorkeling than where they took us. But kids or first timers would like it- we are a little snorkel spoiled.

The crew was really great. They speak both Spanish and English. My daughter and I both got sea sick and they really took care of us and helped us out and checked on us. The islands we saw were AMAZING! even during covid! Overall, it was well worth the money. They provided drinks and lunch. Very nice family owned.

My only improvement would be to change the time of arrival from 1 hr to 20 min before. For no reason do you need to be there an hour before otherwise was awesome

Sorry I couldn’t rate this place we had to cancel the night before because of a family emergency so I Can only rate my cancellation and Customer Service experience.unfortunately they kept my full payment for 2 people $189.00 because I didn’t make contact with them the night before although I made several attempts and left a voicemail however I did get in contact with them the next morning before the scheduled trip.The female representative that answered my call representing the company stated they needed my money to survive that’s why they were refusing to refund me my money🤦‍♂️At the end of our conversation I mentioned to her I guess all I can do is to note it in my reviews she said go right ahead and hung up the phone 😂 a real professional...Later many people familiar with this island trip Informed me that it’s better to arrive to the docks where they have boat taxis to take you for much less than $100 a person you just bring your own drinks....I’m thinking how much fuel does a WIND driven Catamaran uses as a justifiable overhead expense🤔.I maybe investing heavily in this area soon looking forward to familiarizing myself with good and bad businesses in the area.

We had an amazing time. Staff and Captain of ship were amazing. The catamaran is a nice size and not too many people at once. We had great drinks and had a great lunch! We went to an island to swim and to a reef to snorkel! Best experience ever!

My family and I enjoyed the boat ride on the Salty Dog! The staff were very friendly and always on standby to help if you needed assistance getting off the boat into the water to reach the island. I laid out in the water on the float that the staff provided, it could accommodate 6 people at one time! From North Carolina to Puerto Rico we thank you all very much!

Absolutely amazing! The crew, the boat, the other guests, everything. The crew really knows how to have fun and is there to make sure you do every step of the way. AMAZING!!! we did the sunset catamaran ride and it was absolutely beautiful! the lunch and drinks provided are delicious and the private beach was unbelievable! the best experience and a big thanks to the best boat men, Nomar, Luis, and Joshua. these guys made it such a great, fun time and made sure everyone was always ok and had what they needed! for sure will be doing this again if/when i come back to puerto rico!

It was a cool experience I lost my Expensive shoes because I was so intoxicated from all the drinks on the boat ..you should have to buy your own snorkeling gear it was very affordable the host and the crew are all amazing they were very accommodating and lunchesthat we received was Ok but you should probably bring your own..I love everything about the trip the island the isolation..I recommend this trip just don’t drink to much ..

Just came back from this trip. It was Fabulous! Weve taken other catamaran trips on other islands and this one is the BEST! Roberto, Tito and Omar are great hosts and take you on a tour of two locations one with a beach and the other with a reef for snorkeling Theyre so personable and service oriented. Theres three types of adult mixed drinks with kiddie drinks too. Lunch is sandwiches, pasta salad and fruit. A return snack consisted of cheese and crackers and salsa and chips.As we returned, the crew entertained us with great salsa and reggae music . There are other tours out there that are advertised similarly but these guys make your day sail a truly memorable Puerto Rican experience! BOOK this!

Rude staff, look for another place this place is not worth it. My group booked a tour through Expedia and we showed up to an empty establishment because the owner decided to cancel last minute.They do not try to help you and when I asked for help the lady gave me attitude. Save your time and money and go somewhere where they treat you like a paying customer.

Today is my friend’s birthday and we decided to book a group tour, after driving 2 hours we were informed That our reservation was never booked. Love these guys. Always prompt. Always on time. The house made mix drinks are great. The location is tranquil and perfect for some relaxation with the significant other. For sure check them out. Reasonable price too.

Had a fantastic experience on The Salty Dog Catamaran Day Sail and snorkeling tour. Booked our sail the night before and everything went smoothly from reservation to check in. Easy to find, the marina seemed safe and we had no worries with leaving our car there for the day. The crew was fantastic...professional, yet fun, knowledgeable sailors, very attentive and accommodating. The food and drinks were plentiful, the island stop beautiful and the snorkeling a lot of fun.

This is the first time I get on with salty dog. Wow the experience is amazing. The bot is super clean, sanitizers everywhere. They give you lunch. The staff is fun and very helpful. I didn’t want to leave Icacos Island. I will definitely go every time I go to PR.

I had so much fun!!! I went with my dad and other family and we all had a great time. The crew was amazing and the food was good. The island we visited was beautiful and I saw a lot of fish while snorkeling. The Salty Dog was definitely one of the highlights of our trip to Puerto Rico.

A truly amazing trip! Sailed to a couple small islands, drank lots (& LOTS) of rum drinks, snorkeled and met some amazing people. An unforgettable trip that we plan to make every year!! Captain Eric and crew were top notch!!
