Safeside first came to my house to sweep my chimney flues, and that job was ok. Upon their advice, I hired them to build and install a custom stainless steel cap, covering the 4 flues of my chimney. They said it was pretty straight forward, would take 2-4 weeks to receive the cap, and they would come to install it.Then the delays started building. They would never notify me things were delayed, I always had to call them multiple times to try getting some information. I called at 6 weeks, 8 weeks, 10 weeks etc... Finally after 16 weeks (!!) they tell me the cap is ready and they come to install it. Two guys came to do the job, they install it and were ready to leave when I saw they completely bent the sides to force fit the cap on the crown, but they looked happy with it! They blamed the shape of the crown, but hey, THEY came to do the measurements for a custom cap, so it should have fit properly! After I insisted, they added a couple more anchors. It improved the result slightly, but for a cap that cost $1,500 (yes!), you would think they do a better job. I am not happy with the service, especially when they try to blame the client for every problem they encounter.Im sure theres better companies.

I put in a request online to schedule service. The follow up to my request was quick, flexible and transparent (they were scheduling appointments two weeks out). There was one reminder call made to me the day prior and the technicians arrived within the scheduled window of time. They were safe, efficient and professional. Price is fair and reasonable.

They did not show up to complete the work for 3+ months after taking a $2,000 deposit from me. We had to call 4-5 times to find out when the work would be completed, with no resolution or clear explanation on when we can expect workers to show up at our house (during COVID). Overall terrible experience, will be using another company for these services

Worst company I have Ever dealt with. I will never ever in a million years regardless of the situation entertain Safeside chimney, just horrible horrible horrible.

We were going to have our chimney repaired back in October as it was advised by the service tech. We gave them a $700 deposit. We decided not to go with the repairs after getting other quotes from two different companies. Both companies stated the damage that safeside was saying our chimney had were in fact not damaged at all, it just needed a good cleaning. It was an up sale on their part to get more money out of us. It’s now March and we have still have not received our deposit back. Customer service has been giving us the run around for three weeks. We have been a customer for three years and this is the return we get after being loyal customers! The dishonesty from this company is unacceptable and they should be ashamed of themselves taking advantage of people like this.

Didnt show up on time, had to reschedule the appointment several times and was very confusing in explaining what work needed to be completed, I decided to use another company, terrible experience

If I could rate lower I would -- lost work hours waiting for the appointment window to happen only to receive a call last minute letting me know it would not be happening today.
