My son got his haircut here and they went too far back on his line. When we asked him to fix it, he scraped his skin and now my son is bleeding. Completely UNPROFESSIONAL!!$50 for a scabbed over forhead for wedding pictures!! NEVER GO HERE

Excellent service

This was my first time going to this barber shop and I was impressed. The shop is located in downtown Fairfield on West Texas street. Its close to city hall. The interior looks like an old barber shop straight from the 1960s. There are about four barber chairs one side and lots of seats on the other. They have a sports memorabilia motif where you see a lot of sports related objects hanging on the wall. The atmosphere is definitely relaxed and friendly.When I entered the shop, I was greeted by a man named Daryl. He was very courteous and down to earth. He asked me exactly how I wanted my hair cut and I told him I wasnt entirely sure except for the general look I have now. He took it slow. He first made general cuts on my hair to see what I wanted. Once I made my decision, he started to work. Using various clippers, he sculpted my hair into something that looks pretty sharp. I was impressed with his skills and expertise. I was a happy man.This barber shop charges competitive prices. I was charged $25 for my cut. I am very satisfied with their work and I will come back again! I am Asian and I think this barber shop has a large African American clientele but they serve all kinds of hair. Great people and a relaxed environment.

Quality cut every time, good peeps!

We are from Vacaville and struggling to either get a decent cut or having to wait forever to get into local shops. But then saw a family with two young men (between 12 and 15 yo) with tight fades. Received referral to Downtown Cuts. My son (12 yo) was able to get walk in and get a chair within 10 minutes.Super nice barbers and they do awesome work.

The guy in middle chair, cant cut white people hair, had to go to another place and get my hair fixed....3 people asked me, why it was messed up...The other place fixed it for free...Too many barber places trying toconver t to getelmans cuts, without the experience......
