Shes the best barber Ive ever had always on time always very professional if you set an appointment youll never wait in line you cant beat the price. I have dreads and a fade on the side and she does it all, including a soothing shampoo and that is something that I have never gotten at any barber shop included with the haircut, a One-Stop shop. I always get compliments on my hair the ladies find it very attractive you cant beat it treat yourself and get a step ahead

Took my son in and we both got a great hair cut. My hair is hard to cut cause its so curly but she nailed it. Will definitely go back the next time Im in the area. Super friendly staff made the visit very enjoyable.

I was new in town and was looking for a barber to cut my hair. i went to a shop nearby and they just completely f’d up my head and cut me. thankfully i found a step ahead and shenise fixed me up and i’ve been going to her ever since.

I have been taking my boys to Shenice since the age of one....THEN....followed her to her own shop!!! That says a lot!!! She is thee best in town!!! A Step A Head has top notch customer service, great conversations, straight comedy, best cuts, great atmosphere, great location..... Just the best at what they do!!! The only place I’ll let touch my hair. The customer service is always great. Shenise is very knowledgeable. She’s been doing hair for over 20 years and the experience shows. She provides excellent results every single time. I can’t recommend this location enough. It’s the favorite part of my week.

Woman here does a great job with cutting hair for my sons and takes walkins! I do wish she was more professional and had business cards for interested or returning clients.

So I been going to Shanece for about a little more than 3 years now and since she opened her own shop A Step A Head. I was a walk in that turned into a loyal client. I praise her for always working around my schedule. She always is professional, upbeat, funny, and insipiring. Her shop is always clean and always has good vibes. When I leave, I know I will be so fresh and so clean because she takes pride in her work and it shows. I would recommend this shop for anyone.
