If I could rate less I would. This old coot doesnt want your money. Might not even cut your hair, to say nothing about making disparaging remarks about it. If its a bit long I should go to a beauty salon instead? Dont waste your gas driving over here to listen to this guys hot air.

Came in for beard trim which is an option listed he then said had to do haircut with it. I said ok and he said he wouldnt because his hand is shaking...

Looks like this place has a new owner. I stopped by today to get a quick haircut while I was on my way to my bank. Haircut was expertly done and the straight-razor finish for the back and sides was really cool. Five-star service and the prices are great, too. If you are in the area, I dont know why youd get your hair cut anywhere else. Im definitely coming back.

Ive been buzzing my own hair for the last few years but decided to get a real haircut this past week. Ive been to The Barber Shop before but had a very mediocre haircut from one of the barbers. So I went in hoping to avoid that barber and was lucky enough to get the barber who I took to be the owner. Very nice guy. I noticed that there were snacks for anyone waiting (donuts, sat, only maybe?) and suckers for the kids too. I found out that they are open 5 days a week, I was in and out of there in 10 minutes and got a great haircut straight razor finish. The barber said, See you next month, and I think I may just go back.

Stopped by here since I was in Fairfield for some military business from Southern California, and i needed a cut. They only have two chairs but it wasnt busy at all (only one chair was in use). I got a cut from an older gentleman (who i forgot his name but was probably Filipino) and the cut was really mediocre. I asked for a simple fade and nothing more. The cut seemed good at the moment (always does right?) but after better inspection after showering later that day i could very well see the lines. Anyways; Im not giving it more than 2 stars for just the cut itself... its for price tag on a MEDIOCRE cut... $19 BEFORE tip! Thats ridiculous. I dont know if its because i was from out of town or hes having a slow day and wants to keep up with his co-worker (who was cutting someone elses hair and had someone waiting for him when i walked in and this barber was just sitting in his chair) or he needs to pick up his day to keep his chair in there or whatnot but anyone looking at giving this place a shot BEWARE of this particular barber or if you got deep pockets and are okay with these price tags on mediocre haircuts then go right in. Ive got several more trips to Fairfield in the future and its safe to say i will not be coming here again.
