Our waiter was super nice, but the food was way overpriced for not only the amount you get but the taste, as well. I paid $19 for 5 stuffed ravioli that were flat as paper, and it was cold when it came out. My drink also had a hair in it; thankfully our waiter corrected this, but it really turned me off of this restaurant unfortunately.
The service here is always good and my usual dish is one of my favorite things to eat in general. I order the garlic mizithra and it always turns out perfectly. Other dishes Ive ordered are the spaghetti and meatballs and their sausage with pasta (I forget the dish name) but I liked both a lot. I just tend to gravitate towards the garlic mizithra. Also, the spumoni is amazing and they have really yummy cocktails too.
We walked in right when they opened and the manager told us there were only two servers and it would be a long meal but he assured us they would take care of us.It worked out fantastic and given the circumstances it was an excellent meal. It did take a long time but they were doing the best they can and we appreciated him being upfront.Hopefully lazy people choose to get off their couch and go back to work so businesses can thrive again.
Overall it was a great evening. The food was great. My only complaint: the blue cheese dressing was below standard due to minimal taste. Blue cheese is my favorite dressing and TSFs was not good. The restaurant was clean and shiny. The cut glass windows are beautiful. The large seating area is great and we were seated within 10 minutes. Our server was attentive and very nice.
I have lived near this restaurant for decades and never stopped in. It was pretty good service, food was pretty good. I liked that the meals were a course with salad and ice cream. The kids really liked the spaghetti and meatballs. I would take them back again. Pretty good for family dining.
Beautiful place and friendly service. However I think we just spent $100 on what tasted like school lunch food. The chicken in my dinner was formed little cubes.
So gross. Ive made better spaghetti at home. They plated it too fast and cooked it too long, so it was like eating a bowl of sogginess. Two words, spaghetti factory. Al. Dente.
I grew up in Seattle and went to one of the original Old Spaghetti Factory locations. The food used to be tremendous and the prices reasonable. There are dozens of locations around the nation now, but none are what they used to be. Theyve raised the prices and cut the portions. Even so, I still love their food. Try the clam sauce or the butter and mizithra cheese. The locations that are in old factories and warehouses have the best ambiance, but any of them are worth a visit.
Howard (our server) was a paragon of class and service excellence. His table manner was warm and suggestions were impeccable, and he did everything in his power to ensure our pleasant dining experience. My wife ordered the Chicken Picata and not only was the flavor and texture exquisite, it actually looked exactly like the advertised picture--a rarity these days. I had my usual Spaghetti Vesuvius, and it was also good, and my daughter had the spinach and cheese ravioli which she very much enjoyed. Thank you Howard and OSF kitchen and staff for a remarkable meal!
Food was okay. Nothing really to brag about, but the one thing that I found disappointing, is that they want to charge you $1 extra for shredded cheese on your salad! How can you be a Spaghetti Factory and charge extra for cheese! Service was good. Seating was comfortable, but $1 extra for cheese! On a salad! Kind of crazy. It is the little things that make a difference.
Beautiful restaurant inside. Good food and inexpensive. I dont venture off from the basics as my prior experience with the spinach ravioli was meh... So i stick to the three course minestrone flavorful, spaghetti and spumoni.Go to spot in area.
Always love the Old Spaghetti Factory!! Great service and love the food!!
Great food and service. Moderately priced. Great atmosphere. Nice and clean. We will go back.
I thoughly enjoyed my dining experience here. The entire staff was experienced, friendly and knowledgeable. The food was awesome. The restaurant was clean and beautiful.
This place is incredible. Such a nice environment and feel. The food is incredible. Spicy spaghetti Vesuvius!
Took a while to be seated, not that they were overly busy but i think there was a reduced workforce... seemed like poor scheduling as the person notes they were not expecting to be as busy as they were ... but the food tasted good and came out hot.
You know what you are getting every time. Fantastic service and excellent food. My favorite is spaghetti with clam sauce.
Working in food service at one point myself, I try to be gracious with the wait staff, but this was exceptionally horrible. Currently 3 HOURS later, and we finally got our food. We made reservations IN ADVANCE and still waited 45 minutes for a table. I only got two drink refills in the 3 hours I was there, and didnt end up eating a bite of my food hot. I had to box it up immediately, as I didnt expect a 4 hour dinner, if you can even call it that. I CANNOT STRESS ENOUGH, DO NOT EAT HERE. The management should be embarrassed at how they are running this establishment, and who they are hiring. Everyone, top to bottom, managers, owners, wait staff should be EMBARRASSED. I cant even comment about the food, as I have yet to eat anything, but no food is worth this. Do yourself a favor and go to McDonalds. Their ice cream machine might be down, but I guarantee youll get better service and hot food to eat. Shut this place down, fire the management and staff, do something. Im sad to see they have 4 stars, because that means they were once good. They couldnt even get the tiniest things right. Oh how theyve fallen.
Very friendly employees. Food did not take long for the order. I had meat balls and sausage pasta. With red sauce, which was very good tasting. The sauce did not taste bitter, strong, or tinny. Actually, it reminded me of the sauce I make every year from my garden.Despite the fact it was over 4 hours away, I definitely will remember this place, and shall stop again when in Cincinnati. Its located very close to a bass pro shop. Yes, I enjoyed both places.
1st and last visit for sure. We arrived at 7p and waited 53 minutes for our dinner. They brought bread. Both ordered salad but got 1 salad and 1 soup. The waiter came to the table before it was served and told us they had to drop more chicken to make our meals. Chicken Marsala was burnt, chewy and not able to cut it with the case knife provided and the pasta didnt have browned butter on it. Chicken Fettuccine had raw chicken cubes in it. Beware of this place. Its beautiful inside.
The food was amazing! The device was even better! Only thing I wish is that the manager would keep his talks between him and his workers away from the customers.
We had a birthday party there today for our daughter she turned 25, Holly was our waitress and we had a great experience being there ! Wonderful food wonderful service and we had the best waitress in the whole restaurant !! Thank you Holly, you was WONDERFUL!!
Had a really good night out with the family here recently. The staff was nice and as professional as you could be. Also it goes without saying that a place thats clean is a plus. The interior of old wood oak and period piece furniture was a good look with enough space to not feel like an old cramp museum. Daughter said it looked like a castle. (6 yr old). 3 course meals including desert. As expensive as it was with a family of 5 it was Great food that night and I actually at least felt like a restaurant actually deserved my patronage.
Disappointed in the white clam sauce. Salad appeared to be bagged. Not what I was hoping for, making a special trip here.
My family went to Spaghetti Factory one hour in a half before closing, last minute decision, and we had wonderful service and good food. We were not rushed - just an overall great experience - my family and I will definitely go back.
Our waiter Howard was amazing!! You can never go wrong with the Mizithra Cheese. My favorite by far. Service was great the minute we walked in the door. Food was perfect and we didnt have to wait at all. Thanks for a fun night
Food was excellent. Sean, our server, was very attentive. Great experience!
Was great as always.Grandkids loved that they got to seat on trolly.it was Avas Birthday !🎉🎉🎂🎂HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!!!
I love this new restaurant more than the original location downtown, I just wish the location was a little bit horse CentralBut you get a decent amount of food for the price
I had only been at The Old Spaghetti Factory in Marietta Ga years ago. This was a major let down this evening. Service kinda stunk, waiter (Devon) had no personality and never even asked if i enjoyed it or questioned why i left the broccoli on my plate. I had the chicken alfredo dinner. The broccoli was cold and tasted raw, it was not good at all. The chicken, cubes, tasted dry like they were out of a can or something and the alfredo was very bland. Just not a good experience at all. Also, in comparison, the next table had a different waitress. She sounded awesome. Checked on them to make sure everything was good and very pleasant.
Its a very nice place to look at very interesting stuff hanging about the food was good but thats what it was good expected a little more the spumoni was perfect but wouldnt go back just for a scoop of ice cream
The service, questionable. The food, even more questionable, and incredibly incredibly sad. Do not come here. Ever. Learn from my mistake.
Honestly this was the worst experience at a restaurant I have ever had. It was completely embarrassing, Imagine everything that could go wrong, it happened. In the three hours we were at the table my drink was refilled once after I asked the hostess (not the waitress) for some water. She failed to take the order of 2 people in my party, like just straight up forgot. My order came out wrong, the waitress offered to fix it and then it came back burnt. My wifes food never came after 3 hours of waiting, when it came out we just asked for it to be put in the box and for the check The waitress never apologized she would disappear for 30-45 minutes at a time. We had to give the check to the bartender to close out because she was no where to be found. Im not sure if they were shorted staffed or what, but they were not busy. We were seated after rush. The least anyone can do is apologize or acknowledge the people you are surving. every interaction we had with the waitress she was short and rude... Judging by other reviews my experience may be an outlier, but I cannot stress enough how bad it was. It was far and above the worst experience I have ever had at a restaurant.
Food was good. Not much selection on the menu. Service was very good.
We made reservations at 6:45pm tonight and was seated right away. The server Jesse was polite, helpful, and deserves a small raise. We ordered the Rich Meat Sauce and the Fettuccine Alfredo which both were amazing and filling. If you stop in, I highly recommend the Cotton Candy Limeade which brought me back to my childhood. We had a wonderful meal to celebrate our 1 year wedding anniversary, and definitely will be coming back. The building was clean and seen the busboy disinfect the table and seats. Each person was wearing a mask and tables were several feet apart. For the two of us, it wasnt overpriced at all.
Very good service. & food.Low noise level. Would be nice resturant for a date night.
Terrible place a roach greeted me at the door don’t recommend
I love going to the Old Spaghetti Factory it is one of my favorite restaurants. My favorite thing to get on their menu is there a large family broccoli side item. I always asked for a little extra brown butter on the broccoli. I also really liked that you get Spumoni with your course says the spumoni ice cream always taste fresh and soothing after such a hearty meal.
Awesome food! Awesome service!
Usually very good but disappointing this trip. Very slow service and messed up a few things. Normally 4 starts but this visit hurt them.
Expensive Fazolis. Service was great but food was beyond bland.
Great food and service. Would highly recommend.
While not as nostalgic as the previous location in downtown Cincinnati, this is still a great place to get pasta. You will have a hard time finding something comparable to their Mizithra cheese. We usually get the Manager’s Favorite with Mizithra and either the mushroom sauce or the marinara sauce.Plus you get either a salad or soup, fresh bread, and either vanilla or spumoni ice cream.A basic drink used to be included, but not now. And the menu isn’t as full or interesting as it was pre-covid. Hence the four stars.
Attended a bday party there chose to try the chicken alfredo and a arnold palmer the alfredo was bland and watery absolutely no flavor, and the chicken chunks were sour 🤢...very disappointing and my arnold palmer was nasty they made it with unsweetened tea...everyone who got the alfredo was complaining wont be going back anytime soon!....first and last!!
Great staff, great food
Food was excellent. Server was the best. Good time with friends.
This wasnt my first visit to The Old Spaghetti Factory, but it was my first visit to this location. I got takeout (typical in these pandemic times). I like the Cincinnati-themed decor, but....the food at the locations in Canada is like 20x better!! I was honestly really disappointed in what I paid $15 for because my spaghetti dish was literally just spaghetti and cheese. Be like the Canadian restaurants because you guys need to have food more like theirs (its literally the same chain, so the food should definitely be more uniform)
Its a good restaurant to go to for a better than OG food experience. Its clean and the staff is good at doing what is needed. Did I think the average of 18 bucks a plate was worth it, no, but you get a good enough meal to warrant an occasional return.
I got the Spaghetti with Rich Meat Sauce. Ive had better elsewhere. It seemed to be missing something... The ice cream included with the meal was nice! On the bad side, the faucets in the mens room were actually not mounted to the counter top! I actually had to hold the faucet while I turned it on. They seem like they have been that way for a while. When you spend $12 on a meal, you expect better accommodations. Especially considering how noce the rest of the place is!
Great food! Beautiful setting.
I was eating my food and then i found a roach in my spaghetti and then i went in the restrooms they weren’t clean the staff were disrespectful it was hair in my food to the pasta was overcooked
We always love OSF and hadn’t been since the pandemic started. Food was great. But, they had tables sat very close together and we weren’t comfortable at all.
The staff was friendly. Our waiter was my favorite part, he was quick and friendly, he make d my first experience there a blast. We were able to sit in the old trolly. That was so fun.
The food tastes great and the service was amazing. I absolutely loved their bread, and the ice cream was a great way to finish the meal. Definitely would recommend! The pricing is right for what you get.
I wanted to love it here. The interior decorating was quaint and very influenced by the city around it. The trolly car was unexpected, as we had never been here before, and the servers and host were extremely kind and accommodating. Unfortunately, the food itself wasnt very good. For the price, youd expect more flavor. I found my crab ravioli to be lacking, and when my husband asked me my opinion on the food, I told him very honestly that it was bland. He had a spicy pasta, and the word he used to describe it is meh. The portion size was small, the flavor was bland, the spices didnt mesh well, and though it was meant to be a spicy dish, he was able to feed it to our 8 month old. The ice cream was nice, the appetizers (soup and salad) were fine, but the main meal, which I think should be the best part, was just not good. For the price point and amount of food you get, I would definitely go elsewhere. I wanted to love it here, but it just was not worth it.3 stars for the staff and the decor. Nothing for the food.
Got the garlic bread, minestrone soup, and garlic mizithra pasta. Overall the food was bland and dry. My husband got the chicken parmesan and was likewise underwhelmed. Definitely not worth the money, in our opinion. Service was fine. My only qualm was with the food.
Very tasty food and great service
Great service. Food was good. Really interesting decor.
Food was very good, but service was very bad, was there for 3 hours, 1 person in our party not get there food till we were done eating.
Great as service, great food. Always an enjoyable time.
Delicious. Only gripe why do they seat people walking with a cane at the table/booth farthest from front door?
Food and service very good. The greeter that seated us was very nice and gave us a good table as he saw my husband was using a cane and wearing a leg brace. Waitress Amanda very good andAttentive. Had a nice time.Thank you.
Good, fast service. Food was hot and very tasty.
I love this place. I would recommend the macaroni and cheese. Its amazing. The ice cream the is the best too.
Beautiful building, upscale, reasonable price, but just not good food.????
Very good food and service.
Our family has been a fan of this restaurant chain for more than 20 years. We have visited locations in numerous states. The atmosphere is always fun, casual, and family friendly. The meals are always great and the price reasonable for a family meal. Every time we pass by this location we pick up a meal for the family. Mizithra with brown butter will be the death of me. Thankfully this place is too far away to visit more than a few times a year.
Great waiter Shawn! Good food
Excellent service and great taste….consistently beats Olive Garden
Very good pasta dishes, and my wife and I love The creamy pesto salad dressing
Service was slow. It was not busy and the prices are a bit steep. It was good food but lacking on everything else. I would suggest Olive Garden any day over this place.
Wasnt bad nor was it great but not a bad casual once in a blue moon place
Always love the ice cream and the end and the creamy pesto dressing. Food is okay and service is okay. Great place for a family gathering.
Walking in at first glance the decor was typical old school Italian! The hostess were friendly and we were sat right away! The food is ok but the service is awful!I had a server named Bryce and he was friendly but remained absent the whole time! When our food came out he still was absent and another waitress brought us our food.It took over 30 minutes to get our food and the sangria I ordered. It was subpar food and service all around!I won’t be back!
Food was very good and our server Jackie was excellent!
Possibly one of my favorite restaurants ever. The browned butter and mizithra spaghetti is incredible
Had not been their in years. Great food and service
We love this place. Good food fare price
Placed order through DoorDash. Food was cold. Fresh bread was warmer than my spaghetti & meatballs. Sautéed mushrooms cold. Side of diced chicken cold! For the prices they charge, there is no excuse.
Food was great and we had a great waitress
This was great the lasagna, Spaghetti, fettuccine Alfredo, and the garlic cheese bread were delicious. Service was very good as well so I definitely recommend it.
Always great food and service. The mizithra cheese is the best part of going there. Delicious!
Exactly as expected... consistent food with very nice wait staff.
My family and I had a party of 13. The staff and management were very welcoming and attentive. Even with the virus restrictions they were able to accommodate us 8 adults and 5 little ones. We highly recommend this location and plan to return again when we are in the area.
Omg it was awesome cant wait to go back the food omg was soo good an the staff was so kind the waitress she was spot on thee best cant wait to go back omg the scenery alone was awesome mid century with new times again cant wait to go back thank you one of the best places iv ate at in long time cant wait to return

We had a great experience here the good and the wsit staff were excellent. The lasagna, fettuccine alfredo, and the spaghetti were very good.
Sicilian garlic bread is sooo yummy! Pretty decor and nice service.
