I Bertram Rose, am so grateful for All Transmissions. Grateful, because the owner Ken is a respectful, understanding, kind hearted, reassuring man and thus are his employees. I informed Ken, I didn’t have all the money to pay for the job, but Ken reassured me, not to worry because we can work something out. He did a great job on my truck, and since this was a removal/replacement job, he lend me his loner suv at no cost; he just offered me the loner and reassured me he would take care of me and my truck. It’s been a long time since I’ve run into this type of high quality professionalism. Thank you All Transmissions!
They kindly helped me understand some of the details about a transmission on a car I was considering purchasing. I am grateful for their professional assistance.
Great service, very knowledgeable. Answered all my questions. Honest about what I needed.
Thank you for getting us in quickly and repairing our truck so we could get home!! Excellent customer service!
Worked it out with Ken to get my merchandise fixed and in the process of figuring it out...
This shop is legit! I love my new transmission! I gained 120 miles of range on the highway by a more efficient transmission on E4OD that sits in my 1995 f350 power stroke.I drove my truck from Juneau to Fairbanks for the rebuild and couldnt be happier.I would do it again! No question!
Great people, great service, 5 stars all the way!!
Had no idea what was wrong with my Expedition and everyone I took it to around Fairbanks said to take it to Ken, I’m certainly glad I did. My vehicle runs amazes now, and it didn’t cost me an arm and a leg like most transmission shops. Great place, great service, I definitely recommend it.
Had a bad torque convertor go out in my f350 company truck. All Tranmissions immediately towed my rig to their shop and began work. They swiftly put it back together better than new. Its the best shifting work truck tranmission Ive ever felt. One of the kindest, most professional group of folks Ive ever worked with. I appreciate them more than words can express.Kind Regards,Michael Manzo
I have been working with Ken and his team at All Transmissions for years and have found them to be honest, timely and affordable. The level of customer service they provide has been incredible! Cant recommend them enough!
Probably the best shop in town. He is honest, up front, and a very dedicated to helping his customers. Very Fair prices and exceptional Quality.
I bought a vehicle, and right after buying it the transmission started to slip. I dont think the transmission had ever been serviced, which concerned me. Ken was very nice and got my vehicle in ASAP, and luckily the transmission only needed to be serviced and there was no damage! Thanks to ken and the workers there, I appreciate it much!
Excellent technicians!
Honest work. Reasonable price. Good time on turnaround
Ken was great! He built a new transmission for a car I was restoring and he even brought the tranny to my house to install it in the car. Because of the restoration work I was doing, it was another two years before I got the car on the road. He told me to bring my car to him for any adjustments needed once it was on the road and he got it working great! Thanks Ken.
Great friendly Christian family owned car shop.
I was very impressed with Ken and his approach from the first time I spoke to him on the phone. He understands that in order to make it in the business that hes in, he needs to be honest and helpful. He was absolutely both! Im a DIY kind of guy when it comes to my things but I also understand that there are certain jobs that are outside of my capabilities. I installed a remote start in my truck and inadvertently shorted out the barometric sensor causing my transmission to shift very hard when I drove it. I took it to Ken and asked if he could help me out and he understood that I was hoping to take care of it myself. He helped a lot that morning taking 30 min. out of his day and tried to point me in the right direction with what I could try on my own. After my interaction with him, I knew that if I couldnt figure this thing out, I absolutely was going to bring my truck to Ken. I ended up replacing the barometric pressure sensor which is the first thing he had suggested and it fixed my problem. Im in the Army and stationed here and I know that no matter what, if my problem is beyond my abilities or Im deployed and my wife has an issue with a vehicle, Im going to certainly turn to this company. Very impressed!
Lets start off by saying... if you hate money and working vehicles, this is the perfect place for you to go. In fact, as an added bonus, hell make sure that just after the warranty is up on his work, something else goes wrong with your car so you never have a working vehicle or money. But dont just take my word for it, several auto shops in town refuse to send him anymore work because he takes money from unsuspecting customers. As a former customer of his, I can tell you that if you really just cant stand the thought of having a functional, transmission that is reliable, by all means, go to Ken at All Transmissions. Not only will he be sure to take your money, hell also give you an expensive paperweight and a plethora of excuses as to why your transmission wont stay fixed. Oh dont worry... none of it is actually his fault so youll always be paying for his mistakes. Call backs are not included in his service, unless you call him out on his crap jobs. And be prepared... he has no problem telling other mechanics what kind of a horrible customer you are. Ken and his team at All Transmissions... living proof that Cs get degrees. If you are thinking of taking your car here, you might as well go to the bank, pull out a few thousand dollars and toss those bankrolls in the fireplace. And then, while youre pulling out your hair in frustration, light a match and toss it in your car because by the time Ken is done with it, it will basically be worth about the same.
I just wanted to post some positive info! We had a transmission hose with a Leak and genes was going to charge $510 to fix it. We called around and when we called All Transmission here in fairbanks I was able to talk to a really friendly man who told me he would be able to fix it and not only replace the hose but replace it with arctic grade hosing and it cost us a third of what genes was wanting. They were friendly, knowledgeable, and quick!!! I would recommend them to anyone!!
Ken and his staff helped me by repairing the transmission on my 2003 Dodge 2500. The staff were very helpful and even explained and showed what issues were caused by what damaged part. They provided me with options for upgrading parts to prevent future damage and upgrade performance. A few months later when I was having some issues with what we thought was my Transmission, Ken looked at it free of charge and helped me figure out that it was in fact a issue involving my starter and auto start. Thanks for the help All Transmission.
Professional and honest company. I brought by vehicle here for a second opinion. I am so grateful I did as they were able to find the true cause of my problem. Ken was very professional and prompt with servicing my jeep. The Jeep is running excellent and I saved thousands on unnecessary services. I really appreciate the honesty of the staff here. Would always recommend!
I can always trust this crew to get my vehicle back on the road!
Ken and his staff took great care of my hotrod. He got me back on the road in no time and his comstumer service in spot on.Good job Ken and crew!!!
Winterized both of my Jeeps. Quality work, great price.
I brought in a 95 4l60e that Ken took the time to not only explain but showed me what needed to be done. I havent installed the tranny they rebuilt for me yet (hopefully this weekend) but I have complete faith in his competence, intellegence and professionalism. I would recommend all transmission to anyone assuming this weekend goes well thanks guys.
I would definitely recommend using them. Ken and his staff were very professional and took excellent care of my truck. My truck was ready in two days! They dealt with my warranty company for me and ended up saving me a lot of money. I am in love with my new HD tranny!!!
Military friendly, very professional and honest people. Helped me tremendously with some minor issue I had with my vehicle. I highly recommend them.
Called about transmission problems and they helped me fix it over the phone. Thank you so much.
These guys diagnosed the problem correctly, fixed it for a fair price, saved my transmission and my summer in Alaska. As a tourist, they knew that they would probably never see me again. Competent, honest people
Excellent service. Get what you paid for.
Transmission was shifting incorrectly and, at the recommendation of a friend, I brought my vehicle in for Ken to tear the transmission down to inspect for any issues he came across. He went through the transmission and made a few repairs. I picked the vehicle up and within 30 miles the transmission went completely out and I had to have it towed to his shop (on my dime). He would not pay for the tow. He then went on to explain how a part that was brand new (less than 100 miles on it) failed and caused all the issues. I thought that it was odd for a brand new part to just break so early, so I spoke with a few ASE Certified mechanics about my conversation with Ken, and they all stated he was pulling my leg so he wouldnt have to admit that he caused the issue when he put the transmission back into the vehicle. They said that Kens explanation was mechanically impossible and was taking advantage of the situation. He charged us an extra $600 when it should have been a come-back on his part. Ive filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and will never do business with this scammer ever again. I would think twice before bringing your vehicle to Ken.
These guys have always been honest, fair, reasonably priced.
Excellent Service and professional, very helpful in providing along with showing me issues with my vehicle while it was on the lift. Im confident in recommending them for your vehicles needs
I write in response to the comments made by All Transmission related to the problems caused after having the belts replaced of my 1989 Toyota Land Cruiser. However, you were advised by my technician, that the alternator you had installed was incorrect for the vehicle.--> Your technician did not tell me anything about the alternator, and by the way, if he thinks the alternator is incorrect, he is totally wrong, because that alternator is factory original. You insisted it was okay and showed my technician how you personally adjust the belts so they do not make noise. Your instructions were followed specifically and were done in your presence.--> I just showed your technician that he had to keep the alternator vent away from the washers in order to preserve the alternator. Just pretty basic attention to be followed.Nonetheless if issues did arise, you could have called my business and would have been directed to a nearby NAPA AutoCare Center, as the items sold to you did carry a warranty.--> Let me explain All Transmission mistakes: The main problem was with wrong mounting of the belts. The hydraulic steering belt was placed on the wrong pulley arm and was in contacted the air conditioning belt, as a result, both belts were damaged and lost. The other problem was that the alternator belt did not match the correct size. All Transmissions, Inc. did not receive a call from any repair facilities to verify your issues nor with any questions of warranty on the repairs or costs associated with these events. Any warranty issue could have been verified and the warranty settled over the phone.--> Please be honest and practical, What would you do if the mechanic who fixed the problem at Eagle Lake had phoned you? Finally, just for the record, the Auto Repair in Eagle Lake charged me $105.00 for labor and parts to replace 3 belts. It is less than half of the $275.00 that All transmission charged me for the same service. All Transmission delivered poor and overpriced services that were good for nothing and exposed me to have critical and costly problems while on the highway. For this reason I do not recommend All Transmission.-----------They may be good on Transmission, but need to improve their quality when changing belts!I was at the shop on Sept 7th with my Toyota Land Cruiser. The alternator belt was broken and I asked to replace all the 3 belts. The service was done and I was charged $275.00, $220.00 for labor and $55.00 for 2 alternator belts. I left the shop and drove to Anchorage on the next day. During the trip to Anchorage the belts were making a strong noise and I stoped in Eagle Lake to check what was wrong. I found that the Power Sterling belt was put in the wrong lane and was in contact with the A/C belt, as a result, the A/C belt was damaged. Also the new alternator belt sold by them was the wrong size, and was making a horrible noise and not writing properly. As a result, I had to replace the 3 belts and pay for the service again. I contacted All Transmission via web site to report the problem and ask for a full refund of what paid them, so far I did not hear from them.
Ken and his crew were very professional. I had an excellent experience.I will definitely recommend them to everyone.
