Was traveling out of state when my SUV starting shaking badly. Stopped and got a hotel for the night. Arrived in the AM and they got my car in asap. Found the problem and had me back on the road in just a few short hours. Very honest and priced very fairly. My only regret? They cant be my local mechanic since Im in CT. Do not hesitate. They are great

Called and told Frank what was happening with my car. I told him I had no ride so Id have to wait for it. He graciously suggested he could take me home and pick me up after he took a look at it. He called and unfortunately he couldnt fix it. He brought my car back and asked if I had a warranty on the transmission. I looked and found that I did. He was so happy when I told him. Ive met alot of people in my life and let me tell you, this guy is the real deal, you dont find people like that much anymore. I will definitely bring my car back there for anything else It needs.Class act.

Went here for a vehicle emissions test. The service was very fast, and the specialist who serviced me was not only knowledgeable but very kind and helpful. I can tell he loves his job and thats always something encouraging to see when you are looking for a service specialist of any sort.

They are truly a gem in our town. Always dependable, reasonable price, honest and trustworthy. I honestly rest assure the work is being done properly. I only take my cars to Maple Auto for any check up or fixing. Even oil and filter change. They always go above and beyond. Both Frank and Tom are two sweet outstanding and professional guys, if I ever move out of state I wish I can take them with me! This review was long over due. Honestly, it doesnt get any better than this. Fair, honest, reasonable, accommodating and trust worthy. They know their stuff! Been going for decades, even though I moved out of the area, I wouldnt think of going any place else .... not even for an oil change!

I grew up in Glen Rock, moved out of state for close to 20 years, and moved back to Elmwood Park. I was so nervous to find a reputable mechanic--I asked a trusted friend, and boy did he steer me right. The garage is clean, professional, state of the art. It owned by and staffed with real mechanics, not kids, or wanna be grease monkeys. The prices are very fair, and the work is stellar. I am so grateful I didnt have to run through a gambit of hack shops to find Maple Auto Repair. Excellent shop, highly recommend.

I made an appointment with them. Dropped it off first thing as requested. Before lunch they already looked at it and said what it needed. By days end it was fix with no surprises on the bill. Hard to find auto repair that are honest and timely. Also better then getting ripped off at the dealer.

Great auto repair shop. Been going to these guys for over 4 years. In laws have used them for many many years. Prices are very reasonable and better than midas, etc... Most important to me is their honesty. They dont push for repairs that arent needed. They tell you straight answers

Good service reasonably priced.

These guys are horrible . Took my car there several weeks ago for the dreaded check engine light. So I okayed them to replace the check valve and the secondary air pump assuring me that would fix pròblem. After keeping car overnight and a $732 quote became $860, I paid and headed home. I didnt get 3 miles before check engine light came back on and running very rough, I made it home and called frank. He said bring it back in and we will change o2 sensor for another $190 and then check to see what codes come back. Since it was the weekend, it would have to be monday. Had to rent a car to go on vacation on Tuesday because I could not trust these guys again... Im guessing they have no troubleshooting/diagnostics skills whatsoever. Anyone can read codes and start swapping parts out and eventually fix the problem. A good mechanic diagnoses problems and doesnt waste customers money. They cost me over a $1000 including the rental car. What a mistake bringing my car to these guys. Stay away.

I have a Highlander which is 7 years old and has never had a repair. Local Toyota dealer quoted a very high cost for both front bearings. I had a slight rumble and I wanted it gone. The owner of Maple Auto took my car the previous evening and next day called with diagnosis. Price quoted was 50% of dealer for same parts. Repair is now done and car is quiet.Repair shop is immaculatly clean and his attitude is professional and courteous. There is a reason he is busy! I recommend this repair center.

Tom and Frank are the ONLY people I trust with my vehicle. Ive always had problems finding honest and reputable mechanics, especially being a female and not knowing much about cars. They dont take advantage and only let you know what actually needs to be done. Their prices are very fair and they stand behind their work. I wish I could give them 10 stars. I live 45 minutes away and still wont go to anyone else! They are the BEST!

I took our 2007 Honda Accord there with a long list from Mahwah Honda of over $1700 in repairs hoping they could just give us a better price. They called me and said the only thing on the list we needed was 2 new tires, $300. I will always bring our vehicles there.

They fixed my busted brake lines in a few hours while I was at work, very nice and reasonable price too!

My husband did everything he could to fix car but it just wasnt working. need for trip this week so I brought it here& spoke to owner. Too backed up & no time for aapt. He took the time to run diagnostics & identified problem. In the end, two of the 6 new spark plug coils were not working. Problem solved. thanks so much. Will definately come back when I need an auto mechanic.
