The staff are very kind but I have to question if the person who helped me was licensed. They used clean tools but they were not using them correctly. They also didn’t wear gloves, which I thought was strange. The experience was a bit painful and I am not happy with my pedicure. My feet looked worse and feel drier after I came in. I would not recommend this place.

All the staff are very friendly and they take the time to make sure everyone is comfortable. The nail jobs are done to each patrons specifics and look very professional when finished. Such a pleasant place to visit!

I have been coming here for 5 years. I LOVE Redwood Nails! They are always so sweet and nice. The salon is extremely clean and comfortable to be in, they decorate it with a “home-y vibe”. The pedicures I get are always fabulous, my toes look perfectly groomed and my feet feel clean and tidy. They always make my nails perfect, definitely a high quality pedicure! They give the BEST leg and foot massages. They just really care for you as a human being and make you feel welcome.Don’t forget—the ENDLESS nail color selection, whether it’s gel or regular shellac. And they’re always getting new colors! It is worth every penny to drive down to Eureka from Mckinleyville. I love this salon!

Lynn was recommended by a local hairstylist. Been here twice now and Ive loved both gel manicures.UPDATE: 2nd gel manicure didnt hold up like the first one. Lots of chips and cracking. - 1 star

Very expensive and they talk behind your back I speak some of their language and I can tell you its very rude to speak behind your clients back in your foreign language

My mom & I have been trying to find a nail salon that we like enough to stay loyal to & were both becoming quite frustrated and disenchanted with the entire industry in this area. Then we walked into Redwood Nails. At first we werent too sure but when they began to work on us we very quickly saw that this was going to be our new favorite place. The man who did our fills went way above and beyond the basic fill. He was definitely a perfectionist & did not stop filing & shaping & checking & filing & shaping some more until he was completely satisfied with them. I absolutely recommend Redwood Nails & look forward to my next appointment with them!

I left with cuts my hands both times I went. Its not that hard to just be more careful. Ive definitely been to plenty of places that dont cut my hands so I wont be coming back here.

Ive been going here since 6th grade and I just finished highschool they always do what I want and double check if I like it. The guy here has always done my nails and they always come out great.

I got a great pedicure and my concerns about my feet were addressed. I like that they have a lot of options for different pedicures.

They were pretty detailed with their work for my gel manicure, and took their time, I will say that. However, the manicure chipped on two to three fingers within about 3 days which was a bit premature for any gel manicure Ive received. Ill give them the benefit of the doubt and would go there again as they took their time with services and were nice and the place was pretty clean.

The staff here is really friendly. They took me last minute for an appointment. They have portable nail drying machines so you dont even have to leave your seat after you get you nails done. I got a deluxe pedicure and it was great. The lady put this scrub on my feet and lotion. Then she wiped off the lotion with a warm towel. Overall it was a great experience. I would really recommend this place

Late review.. about 3 weeks ago I went in to get a gel polish pedicure for my trip to Mexico. I went in 4 days before I left. On the second day of having my toes done a toe nail lost all the polish. I went in and they fixed it. Two days later in Mexico the same nail lost all the polish. I’ve never had this kind of experience before. I’ve gotten countless gel polish pedicures in the past and I’ve never had this happen. When you spend $50+ on a pedicure you expect it to last...

1st time I have been here. The classic pedicure was amazing! They take their time which makes it a wonderful experience. I would highly recommend Redwood Nails.

I went there for the first time we walked in and asked if we can do a walk in and they sat me and my cousin down and immediately did my nails and they were good and still look good there is just air bubbles in my nail polish and the guy who did mine got acrylic on my skin the first nail but when I washed my hands it came off also he cut my skin and it hurts but overall they had good survice and would like to go back just have someone else do my nails

The staff is very friendly. The environment is really relaxing. My husband and I got pedicures and we really enjoyed the experience. They did a great job. They are very busy so make sure you call and schedule an appointment.

Update: Two years later and I still recommend this nail salon. Its easy to make appointments and Im usually taken back on time. Great service and results!This was my first time at this nail spa. I was helped right away since they were expecting me. I had a great mani and classic pedi (which comes with a 10 minute leg/foot massage). The nail tech that attended to me is named Lien. She took her time and was thorough. I appreciate that she did not rush the work rather she provided one of the best pedicures Ive ever received. I will definitely be returning in the future.

I was not a fan of this place. I do feel $30 is reasonable for gel nails but not for this place. My sister, friend and I all got our nails done and they got their toenails done as well. Each of us already had chips by the time we go to my car. Some of my nails werent even fully painted. We tried to point it out but either they didnt care or didnt understand what we were trying to say.

I got my nails done here and throughout the whole manicure they kept cutting me and burning me. Nails didn’t even last for 4 days. Nails were done poorly, very rushed, the nail polish is not even, and the nails are way to thick. I made a appointment and had to wait 30 minutes past my appointment just to sit. The guy doing my nails ruined my natural nails and nail beds. Not worth 50$ at all.

4 stars---too pricey! I happened to walk in and an appointment was cancelled so they accepted me as a walk in but I heard that the place stays booked so you must make an appointment. The pedicure I received is beautiful however the tech massaged my legs and not my feet. No massage chairs and jets.

Easy booking for that day by calling that morning! Thanks for the last minute scheduling on the day that I called! They do gels as well as all the other salon activities. Great and professional staff make this place really enjoyable.

They have some of the only pedicure sit in and soak chairs in the area. Language capability they speak Vietnamese) is a bit limited, but the staff is competent and hard working. I had a problem with my toe nail that I got helped with.

I went with my morther in law to get a gellak manicure. I was helped by a guy and she was helped by a lady. After two and a half weeks her nails were still nice. My nails had gotten air under the gel after 3 days. I went back to complain and another guy fixed my nails for free. After 5 days again few nails got air and one broke.

The people were nice but I got a set of acrylics and they were horribly done. The guy attached the acrylic to my skin and whenever anything touched my nail it hurt so badly. he also cut every single one of my cuticles to the point where I bled. The nails were very thick and very wide. I should not have paid.

The man that did my nails did an excellent job. I came to them to fix my nails after having a horrible job done at the mall. Now my nails look amazing!!! I will be coming here from now on!!!

Great service friendly people

I want to start off with the one bad thing during my experience here. The man that did my nails knicked my skin when he was shaving off the old gels I had. Other than that, this was an amazing place! The atmosphere was peaceful and beautiful, and the man that did my nails was a true artist. I had gotten gels done at Polished Nails in Arcata, and those lasted me less than a week. When I came in, my thumb nail had completely broken off. I asked the man to put acrylics on my thumbs (I hate acrylics), and then he used powder on the nails that were really flimsy to build them up. He took about an hour and a half to correct the atrocities that were my finger nails, and they turned out amazing! Will absolutely be coming here from now on. $45 total, not bad considering the quality of the work done.

Ive been coming here for pedis for the past few months and Im always very happy with the result. My feet look good for weeks afterwards (without gel) and Im very relaxed while here. Everybody here is very sweet and does an amazing job and I reccomend it to all my friends.

I had a bad experience elsewhere (at a casino) where i was told i would be getting a gel manicure. They actually just glued nails on and told me they were some or of gel, about 20 minutes after getting them one popped off. I was highly disappointed not only because it was for my birthday but also because it was my first time getting them done, ever. Im 23 it was a big deal to me to finally be able to do this. She fixed it but i lost another later that evening so instead of going back i called Redwood Nail Salon where they asked me what my prefrences were and gave me a clear and honest answer as to what they would be doing. Might i say i was blown away and i am certainly going back! They gave me actaul gel nails and its been about two weeks and i still have them ❤ they are the best and im so grateful for them!!

The man who did my acrylics was rude and rushed. Theyre slightly all different shapes and he cut me with the nail file 4 times and the gel polish is uneven over the nail. Not worth $50.
