Worst experience my riding mower ever had. Took it in for servicing and got it back in pieces. Had to go back three times to fix what they broke. Obviously not what I paid for. The guy broke the pulley guard taking it off incorrectly and didnt replace it, which immediately made it throw off the blade belt first time it was engaged. Didnt you try it first?Then, when I got on it to mow my yard it threw off a blade!I dont know where they hire the workers there but they are sub par if they cant even remember to tighten the nut on the blades. Just lucky nobody was injured. Things happen the owner said...what, like lawsuits?Then had the audacity to charge me for this shoddy work.All in all I would certainly never go back to this inferior business as they obviously just dont care.

FOLLOW UP: Bought a new mower. Started on the first pull. Anytime you would like to drop by and start the Toro and be the first to try, Ill pay for the freshest gas for ya!! Since you stand behind your work and all.....Ive had nothing but complete frustration with this company. I reached out for help getting my lawnmower working, its even worse now. When Ive asked why, they blame everything from gas to my ability to start the mower. My experience has been one of poor service and misleading information on their ability to correct the issue. When you call needing help or to ask a question, they talk over you and insist they did the job. Well....I paid for a job, followed their advice, and still unable to get the mower started. I seriously doubt they will follow through with any help at all. They have managed to make this customer feel Im doing it all wrong. Im sorry I ever darkened their doorstep by asking for help.

Horrible experience. Brought in a pressure washer needing a new carburetor. Called 3 times over 2 weeks for an update. They said they just got the part each time. Never happened. Drove in today. Couldn’t find or get a status on this part. Took my machine home in pieces. Unrepaired.

We were evacuated from our home and had our trailer. We needed a generator and after calling everywhere, we finally found one here. They offered to hold it for us as they only had one. When we got there, they were so nice and helpful. Outstanding customer service! They set it all up for us, carried it quite far to our vehicle and even loaded it in to our pickup! Customer service like this just rarely exists now days! Even though they’re far, they’ll get all our business from now on!!

Our experience with this repair shop has been sub-par. We should have walked away after the first phone call, we needed a carburetor replaced on our generator. Instead of stating outright that they refused to work on the particular brand (it is a Harbor Freight Generator) the front office stated they would do the work but not without us getting parts first. I procured the parts & after $87 the mechanic said the generator still would not work & blamed it on black oil & low compression (the oil in question was royal purple & had just been changed.) After we paid we asked again for help working with the warranty through Harbor Freight, at this point the shop went completely hands off, stated that they didnt want to work on the equipment in the first place.To make a long story short, I called around to other shops, found a great place locally here that realized in 5 minutes that the throttle cable had been bent & not reinstalled AT ALL, the carburetor choke needed to be opened while starting & WHOOSH! The Genny started like a dream. I spent $25 to FINISH the job that Cascade Garden Equipment incompetently bungled then passed the buck. Dont waste your time, money, or trust with this company. I would give negative stars if possible.

When I called to request a quote and pick up on my busted riding mower, I was quoted a 2 day turn around for diagnosis, repair, and redelivery. After a week with no word, I called and learned that the problem was anyway fixed, and the mower ready to be returned. I scheduled redelivery, which would up take another week, then through no fault of the businesses, I missed the redelivery attempt. My Doorbell cam caught footage of the delivery: the fella walked up to my door, knocked exactly once, ignored the doorbell entirely (which would actually have gotten me to respond), then waited 30 seconds, and drove away with the mower. It took nearly another week to even get on the schedule to attempt redelivery, and I would have had to wait another 4 or 5 days for the actual drop off. Finally, I got my hands on a trailer and just picked it up myself. I will say that repair worked, my old mower runs again, and it didnt break the bank. The hassle wasnt worth it though, and multiple 15+ minute hold times on the phone left something to be desired from the customer service department. If you can reliably pick up and drop off your own equipment, this might be the place for you. If youre not in hurry to get your stuff fixed and you dont mind uncertainty, this might be the place for you. Its probably not the place for me.

I had brought a brand new Honda generator in to Cascade for a recall repair, and when I picked it up, it was running very rough...was running fine when I brought it in. The shop got right on it, fixed the problem and did not charge for a carb cleaning. I was not accepting their diagnosis of bad gas but that must have been the issue. They fixed it all no charge when they did not have to, and kept a long-time customer happy. They know their Honda power products very well in this store, and always keep my Honda mower in great shape. Highly recommend Cascade Equipment. If you are tired of your mower and string trimmer giving you trouble, go to Cascade and buy all Honda products, mine have lasted for many, many years now.

We couldnt get the blade off of our mower and brought it in here. Such a great decision! The staff was very friendly and helpful. They were very busy and didnt make it seem like we were messing up their schedule at all for such a simple job. They had our blade off and even sharpened it in no time flat without a crazy huge charge. Definitely recommend them for you simple to big lawn care equipment needs.

We bought a DR pro mower from Cascade garden. Bob sold it. Tried to use it twice, as we are older it was to much machine for us. Very good mower tho. We went in ask if they could sell on consignment, talked to Jessica, who was also very nice. Told us they were selling for 3400.00 so we could probably get 2990.00 for it. Less 20% for consignment. I asked about paperwork, she said didnt need any. We agreed, she said if offer lower would call us. Didnt hear anything, about month or 2, I called, talked to Jessica. She said, oh we sold it, full price. Would send check. Well couple weeks later no check. Called she said oh will get it done, really busy. Week later no check and as we had business in town went by. Bob on vacation, but she would get it in mail when he returned. I ask if check was for 2392.00, she said No, 1600.00. They sold it for 2000.00.but didnt call and ask us before accepting. Not happy, but as we didnt get anything in writing and just took their word. Lesson learned!!! Never do business without something in writing .

I dropped off my leaf blower to repair the pull chord. I was told Id get a call with an estimate. Instead I got a call after several weeks to let me know it was done and I owed $70. The blower is a cheaper model and only cost $120 new. I mentioned to them that I was expecting a call with an estimate. They asked Would I have declined repairs if they had called?. I said absolutely! They responded, Thats why we wont work on this kind of equipment anymore. It isnt worth it. I completely agree, but I would have appreciated them telling me that before I dropped it off. Very frustrating experience. Anyways, the blower does indeed run well now (hence the 2 stars), but in the future Ill take my repairs elsewhere.

A friend of mine lives out in the woods and owns a DR trimmer and the belt broke on it. Being there is no dealer where they are they called and asked if I could check around for them. I called my normal go to equipment shop and they referred me to Cascade Garden as they’re the local DR dealer. Called them up with a belt number and asked if they had it in stock. His response was “how many do you want?” Perfect! Swung across town and picked up three belts at a reasonable price and headed out to my friends place so they could get back to work. Thanks Cascade Garden for the quick and friendly service!

First off we did order a DR Stump grinder. Prior to ordering we were told it would be shipped and recived that coming Thursday. My husband had traveling to do and then would be to dry to use in the upcoming season. This was crucial to us placing the order to begin with that we wouldnt be able to use it if it wasnt here for us to use. This was never considered a special order you are a dealer and we volunteered to put a deposit down. We never signed anything with you. We asked for our money back you said you believed someone was interested in it and asked if you guys had permission to sell it. We agreed as we had no use for it now and still asked for our money back. During every conversation that I have had about this situation you always say that I need to talk with your boss who never returns calls to talk with him. We had bought our Dr walk behind brush hog from you guys prior and thought we would be repeat customers. Yet we have been continually pushed to the side and your dates are not correct. We will not support your business again. One thing about business is customer service and satisfaction. You have failed both and its a shame. Its not that hard to return calls and to be polite when customers are calling and trying to resolve an issue that we didnt expect to happen on your end and the manufacturer.

Lonnie believed he was doing the right thing for the customer and there was no ill-intent that Mr. Yarbrough continues to state. I sure hope in the future that Mr. Yarbrough never makes an honest mistake. This will be my last statement on the matter because this constant back and forth has caused more headache than $140.00 I am happy to refund the labor portion only. He requested the chain and labor to install. Please provide an address to send this amount to, and I will consider this matter closed. this company. I provided the contact information in my response to them, and they never did send the refund on labor like they said they would So they do not like to be called unethical, but no where along this process did they act ethically. So, they are an unethical business. ********I took my chainsaw in for a basic carb adjustment and chain replacement. Which I was told would run around $50. They called me 5 days later to tell me it was finished. Upon arriving to pick it up, I was told $139.00... I was shocked when they told me the price. The saw itself is a cheap Poulon chainsaw that I can get brand new on sale for $149.99... They went on to tell me that it had to have all the fuel lines replaced that was why the extra cost. When I asked why they wouldnt call me and ask me before they did the extra work, the answer was that it would have been just as expensive because of the work and time it takes to get into the saw and diagnose the problem. This is a load of garbage, they know it, and I know it. It is 3 screws to take the cover off and about 6 more to get the carb off, about a 10 minute Job. I didnt do the work myself because I didnt have a carb adjustment tool, thats all.This place is not ethical. They are a classic case of rip off mechanics and I would never recommend anyone take anything to them.

I had a warranty issue on a mower I bought from this store two years ago. Given that I was bringing it in during the busiest part of the year, and that I bought it so long ago, I thought they were going to give me low priority and I would be without a mower for a while. To my pleasant surprise, they bent over backwards to get my mower working again ASAP. I really appreciate the great service!

Excellent Honda generator service.I run a mobile business wherein I use my Honda eu3000is 8 hours a day. They took my tired, rough -running generator and made it run like new after an extensive tune up and resolution of starter issues.Jerry and Jeff are the Honda masters!

Called 3 separate times this morning. First time left on hold, in silence, for almost 10 minutes before hanging up & calling back. This time 4 minutes on hold in silence when Jerry picked up and told me to call back when I had found the engine# he needed. Called back, on hold in silence for 5 minutes before hanging up and calling back. This time a recording mistakenly telling me they were closed, business hours, days open, etc. Called back, Mike answered and when I told him what I needed, he said he was putting me on hold for Jerry. Silence....5 minutes now...should I hang up and call back? 7 minutes..10 minutes!!! Call back..Mike go tell Jerry to pick up the #!@* phone!! Jerry picks up, tells me hell be with me as soon as he takes care of a customer. Comes back a few minutes later and as courteous as cam be, my issue still remains unsolved. I want to scream but Im going have a pb&j sandwich instead.

I really appreciate this shop; they are knowledgeable and they dont rip you off like some other shops around town. I am responsible for maintaining around 40 different small engines for my crew and I will continue to go here because theyre helpful and caring, and they have a pretty quick turn around time on repairs.
