Friendly, nice place, but the cut itself was pretty lacking. My front bangs were left uneven and half of the hair on the back of my neck was left untouched. Overall disappointed especially considering the nearby competition. Maybe i got a dud haircut but I wouldn’t personally recommend.

Friendly service and not bad on pricing. Its the only one that didnt force me to stand outside for a haircut and charge a ridiculous amount for a trim. Great place I would definitely recommend.

Ive been coming to Mans World for a year now. Upon first walking in you are met with a great ambience and positive energy. I usually cut my hair with Rick, but the other barbers are also awesome. To say that Rick gives a great haircut would be an understatement. Hes an artist-- and his canvas is your scalp. His attention to detail is unequivocal while the quality of his work is impeccable. Rick and the rest of the barbers take great pride in their work.

Stopped in this morning for a quick chop. Very cool in the round style.The barber who cut my hair was very personable and was a pleasure to talk to.The prices were a bit high, but being that Im from Cornfield Hometown, Illinois, everything is pricy.Would recommend but youll pay a bit for a cut.

Called up to set an appointment, asked if they use a straight blade for the beard. Guy on the phone who Im pretty sure was the owner was so rude about it, could have simply said No we do not. How can you be called a Mans World Barber Shop and not do straight blade shaves? lol

Mac is the only one I trust with my hair these days, friendly service, always has an appointment available whenever I need one! He has even stayed open late for my and my friend once. Overall an amazing shop

It might be a fine shop if you go every two weeks and build a relationship, but for a one off haircut its no good, honestly.I feel really bad writing negative reviews, but Ive now gone twice, and the first one was forgettable, while the second was atrocious.Theyve also raised their price -- so you could go somewhere else and pay $20, which would include a tip (the sensible price for a mans cut is something like $17), or you could come here and pay $22 for a worse haircut.

Im new to Eugene, and told my boyfriend to get his haircut here after seeing all of the good reviews, and they didnt lie. Ric is thoughtful and takes his time. He always gives Zach a great haircut, and remembered my name, Zachs name, and everything about us the second time we came in. Ric made sure that he understood exactly what Zach wanted, and gave him an awesome haircut. He was professional and polite, and everything you need in a barber. This place rocks!

Mans World provides dependable barbering that clearly benefits from decades of experience, continuing attention to their craft, and a central location in downtown Eugene. Rick was my barber and I found him friendly, accommodating and efficient. He was very sure to make sure he understood what kind of cut I was expecting, which I appreciated. My only complaint would be he did not shave my neck, which I am used to.

Rick is the only barber in town I go to. I had been years since I had a barber of my own. The only thing that will stop me going here is if he or I moved out of town.

My boyfriend got the best haircut hes ever had from Ric. After the first haircut, he went back the next day to get it cut a little shorter and was greeted warmly by Ric, who kept the shop open past closing on a Saturday just to make sure he was happy with it. Highly recommend this place!

I had a negative experience at this barber shop. I stopped by on a Thursday at 3:40pm. I Tried to go in but the front door was locked. I looked around to see if a closed or at lunch sign was up but there wasnt. There, however, was someone inside. I assume it was the owner. He looked directly at me but didnt acknowledge my presence. He just walked towards a back area. Assuming that maybe he didnt see me, I called the barber shop. However, There was no answer.Prior to coming to this barber shop I read reviews to ensure that it would be a right fit for me. Sadly, I wont find out if I like their haircuts. I can however say that I am very dissatisfied with the customer service that is provided. I will not come to this barber shop again and I will mention the experience to others.

The haircuts are pretty good but the the service is terrible. I had made an appointment for three people and there was a change of plans. Where only one person was going to get a haircut and they told me that they were not interested anymore as if it were some sort of deal and told me to go somewhere else. I am a paying customer and they told us to call if we wanted to change something. I was surprised to see that a place with good review had such a lack of professionalism.

Good haircut, the man that cut my hair made me feel like family. Received three stars for not being a full service barber shop. As a man with no hair I was really looking forward to a shave.

Just went there for a beard trim. Its 8 am and the place looked messy with hair already. $17 for a beard trim and they dont offer straight razor lineups. Left without getting my beard done. Better off going to analog barber a few blocks away half the price clean and striaght razor lineups

Staff personality and cleanliness was great. Prices medium. I went to get an out of control beard in check. Asked for a scissor city to remove split ends and even the whiskers. The barber wasnt comfortable using scissors at that angle and said the clippers were sharp for the job. Maybe they were but after the cut with several directions, my beard is uneven and the split ends are more pronounced. Ill probably avoid barbers from now on and go to the salon xD

Couldnt have had a better experience! Ric took incredible care of me, made sure to clarify what was happening. He even recut it shorter will definitely be going back. Couldnt have had a more efficient friendly positive haircut experience!

Went there on my holiday without making an appointment. Half an hour later I had one and got a professional haircut. Very nice conversation as well. Learned a lot about Oregon and Eugene. Very good experience! Would go there again!
