Im VERY happy that I chose Absolute Automotive when my truck started shaking violently. I called them and talked with Jed about it. He first told me they were 2 weeks out, but I couldnt wait that long pending various dr appts and surgery in a few days. He then told me to bring it in that afternoon and hed work on it the next day. He was very knowledgeable in what he thought was wrong with it. He called me the following day and explained in plain words what it was . A friend recently asked for a recommendation for a mechanic, and I 100% recommended Absolute Automotive, and it also made me think to right this review! Ive been taking my cars here for over 5 years, and I cannot recommend them enough. They are one of the most technically advanced shops in town, and service models from all over the world (American, Japanese, European, Korean, etc). They are an honest, family owned business, and Ive always felt theyve been 100% straight and fair with me. Most importantly, they do good work, quickly, and get my cars back on the road!

Ive been doing business with Jud, and now his son Jason, for 10+ years.This is the first repair shop Ive been to that didnt look at me with dollar signs rolling in their eyes just because Im a woman.They have always been completely honest with me and always fixed my vehicles right - whether foreign or domestic, standing by their work. They even tell me when something isnt urgent, or what to watch for in the future.I cant recommend them highly enough.(BTW: Im not completely ignorant about cars/trucks having done my own maintenance and minor repairs for years.)

I initially went to Absolute Automotive because they were the closest place to have my car towed when it stopped running. That was almost a year ago. They are the most honest, compassionate, and understanding people. Every time I have gone in to their shop, they have treated me more than fairly and I have watched them go above and beyond for not only me, but every single person who walks through their door. If you go anywhere else, you are going to the wrong place.

I took my 98 4Runner into Absolute with a vibration at highway speeds. Jason, Jud and the team were very professional and courteous to me. They took me on a ride in my truck to reproduce the issue. We went back to the shop and they inspected everything that could cause it and found my tires were to blame. My belt had broken and the the started to bulge in one spot. That caused the vibration. So I went to the tire shop and got new tires. Thats just one of a few success stories I have from Absolute.They are very competent and correctly diagnose and repair my truck every time I go into there. I dont trust another shop. For mechanic work I dont do myself, I leave it to Absolute to do the work for me. They are awesome and I recommend that anyone reading this just take their vehicle in, theyre the best!

Im pretty sure this is the first review I have ever written. I was motivated to leave a review because of the outstanding service I have received. Absolute Automotive came highly recommended to me, and so over the past year I have taken my 2004 Dodge Neon in for maintenance on three or four occasions.I proudly accept the label budget customer. I am not wealthy. I depend on my 137,000+ mile car to commute to work 35min away each day. I cannot afford another car. If my car breaks down, I lose my job. The team at AA has consistently helped me determine what is essential repairs to keep the car running and what maintenance is needed, but can be put off for financial reasons. They answer my questions without making me feel embarrassed that I am not knowledgeable about cars.Just this week I had some major problems that were financially stressful for me. AA helped me figure out bottom dollar, and finished work on my car earlier than expected. All of this helped save me money I desperately needed. I would recommend Absolute Automotive to anyone.

Absolute is the only auto shop in town I will consider taking any of our cars, and if they dont handle a particular specialty repair I only go to one of the shops they recommended. Theyre reliable, they dont go over their estimates, and they do exceptional work. A few times theyve fixed other problems they found for the cost of the part alone (i.e. no additional labor charge) or even for free, and each time they called to explain the issue and get permission before they did anything that would cost me more.

My fiance and I are brand new to the Oregon area, being from Wisconsin, and our car became stranded. I saw the good reviews online and kept Absolute Automotive in mind, but to be sure of a good mechanic I asked our Tow Truck drivers opinion. He told us Absolute Automotive is the usual recommendation for him, and boy are we thankful for the choice! Not only did they rush to get our car repaired, being we were stranded, they also gave us a ride to a hotel in their company vehicle! Thats showing TRUE sincerity in their care for the customer. All of this was topped off with wonderful customer support, expert advice, and a real connection. Even as a tourist they treated us as family. Recommended for all!

They wanted to charge me for work that didnt need to be done. My Jeep was making strange sound when turning in corners. They told me I had to replace some rods in the front of the car. Took the car to a different mechanic and it turned out it was only a loose bolt. My car is running fine now.

This is the second time Ive used Absolute Auto. The first time was to diagnose and replace a mass air flow regulators and a second time a coil. Both time their service was quick and professional. As it turned out the replaced coil was defective and AA replaced it with no cost! Their policy is to stand behind their work: they did! Thanks. Called for a quote and the man was a compete a**h***. Thought he was being funny at first with the charge being $80,000 so I played along but after sitting on the phone in silence I realized clearly me calling to give them business wasnt important to him. Didnt ask any questions, told me they didnt have availability, and never gave me the correct rate for a diagnosis. Great customer service. Life long impression right there.

Our troubles had began at Midas while trying to resolve an overheating issue on a 1998 Jeep Cherokee we had recently purchased. Low miles but allot of sitting. Went in for a radiator flush and thermostat. Problem wasnt solved and was overheating the next day. Due to the dirty fluids upon the second visit, they decided to flush it again. Again the problem wasnt fixed and they decided it was time to start replacing everything. Before allowing this I called Absolute Automotive. They were able to get my daughter is the next day, assured the work would be done by that mid afternoon in time for my daughter to make her trip back to Tillamook. After Midas, I thought for sure Id be in it for a new water pump, radiator and or heater core. Absolute Auto didnt do any of that. They simply did another radiator flush and didnt stop flushing until the system was completely clean. Not only was the problem solved but Absolute Automotive prevented me from spending unnecessary monies on unnecessary repairs and did it right the first time. My only complaint was that I did not get a call stating the Jeep was ready. I was waited for the call about an hour longer than I should have but that was by choice when all I had to do was simply call them back and verify. Hard to complain about an hour when they saved us so much time and money. I highly reccomend Absolute Automotive and will be sending my families vehicles their any time we are in need service or repair. Great Job folks and thank you very much.

I am happy that Google reviews provide business owners with a platform to respond. I unlike Jud are happy that people have the right to share their experiences or thoughts. But it is a concern when it is used as a personal attack and an attempt to shift blame and avoid responsibility.First, I was labeled a Budget Customer from the owner. A budget customer??? How insulting. Labels me a budget customer, but in his very own post states that I have publicly ridiculed him simply by sharing my experience which he obviously cannot take. This is an extreme contradiction. Owner is doing his best to avoid responsibility, make excuses and shift the attention away from his poor service rather than own it, insulting his customers in the process.Apparently these guys rate you depending on how much money you spend at their business. I am very surprised that someone who has spent over $1,000 is considered budget. Business owner knew who I was, had my details in his system but felt it was more appropriate to write a customer got it wrong response online rather than calling me to discuss. A very poor and desperate attempt to shift blame to customer. Just awful.It is every customers right to post your experience online for others to read. Owners response included this quote We always try to do the best for our customers, but should not be publicly ridiculed when the real issue is the customers ability to properly service and pay for the issues on HIS vehicle.Owner is clearly trying to discredit my right to share my experience and avoid responsibility for two examples of service that were simply less than satisfactory.Business owner signed off with We have a very large customer base that trusts us and will go nowhere else. First time I went had a scraping noise coming from my wheel and air cond didt work. Charged for replacement brake pads and freon top up of AC. However, leaving the shop AC didnt work and scraping noise still there. Rang the shop obviously incredibly frustrated and told to bring it back and they would have a look at it. After bringing car back told front brake pads needed replacement, which was interesting because they advertise a thorough brake inspection for all wheels. Asked how in gods name could you guys not pick this up when I bought the vehicle in with scraping noise? Told, oh the mechanic must have missed it because he wanted to go on his lunch break. Huh? Furthermore, AC needed a new fuse, and they told me we will do this for free. They implied they were doing me a favor for not charging me for a fuse, after charging me for a freon top up which probably was not required. I should have learned my lesson but stupidly I thought maybe it was a one off and bought the car back a second time. Got a tune and asked them to diagnose non working heaters. Told they couldnt tell what the problem was, but were able to give me a quote of over $1,000 to fix it. I am unsure how you can provide a quote for something you cannot diagnose. Second, told them I needed the car back by a particular time as I had to get to a meeting, was told they would ring when car was ready. No call. Rang to find out when was would be ready was told....Oh car has been ready for a while, didnt anyone call you? Late for meeting, and zero apology from anyone. Guys obviously dont care much for my business and will never give them any more of my money. Suggest you avoid them.

Took my service truck in for a tune up and gave then my new parts I bought, had to pay full price I was quoted for the tune up. They gave no discount for the parts provided.

Big liars, they said my car would be ready within two to three days and never even looked at it when it was time for me to get it.
