The best automotive shop in Eugene! The whole experience was amazing! Sean and his people are really friendly and makes me feeling so nice to talk with them! At the beginning, Sean told me about the job details and price on the phone when I was trying to make an appointment, and the price is pretty fair and not any overpriced. Also, I thought that the job for my car which is installing lift kits and wheels and tires will be done like a couple days, but they just started to do the job when I first bring my car to the shop, and I never seen it at any other shop. And they only use one day to finish all the jobs, and Sean gave me a lot of advice to adjust the fitment. By the way, I highly recommend this place!

Honest and friendly mechanic. I first took my car to Sean over a year ago along with a $5k dealer estimate of all the things that needed doing. I gave him carte blanche to fix what was on the list. He came in WAY under budget, fixed what was necessary, eschewed what was needless, and let me know what things could wait. His communication and customer service is excellent and his record keeping top-notch.

You guys are the best! Brought in some hubs/knuckles off a ‘15 Explorer from Canada (corrosion much?) that were a royal hassle trying with my own tools, did some research on shops in the area and after just the phone call I had with Sean I felt right at home. Reminds me of my family’s auto machine shop back in CA.Amazing people, great prices and gets you settled in a timely manner. If you’re in doubt, trust me and show them some support! I came to Sean Duval through a friend of a friend not really knowing what to expect. From the start though Sean was extremely helpful and had superb communication. My truck wasnt an easy fix and Sean didnt give up. He tried all possible external tests and presented me with his findings. He communicated the issue to me (someone who knows nothing about cars and can get anxiety from going to a mechanic) in a way that I could understand and told me what the next steps were as well as an estimate for parts and labor. After dismantling the engine he was proven right as to the root cause and was able to fix the issue. Seans estimate never changed on me and it was more than fair. After reassembling my vehicle and test driving it another issue seemed to surface as is the case with many older vehicles. Sean made sure to take care of the issue before returning my vehicle and didnt suddenly charge me some kind of hidden fee. Sean was exceptional throughout the entire process and I plan on coming back for any further automotive needs.

I recently took my SUV into Duval Engine Rebuilders for a starter that went out, my SUV has had an issue with the starter going out in the past so I had a warranty from the last time I bought my starter. Sean at duval was very sympathetic toward my substation, he even took my starter out and let me go get the new one so I wouldnt be out any cash in the process, something he did not have to do, but I am sure grateful he did. I have taken all of my vehicles into Duval and they have always taken care of me! Thank you Duval!
