I have been a member for quite some time now, and enjoy going. The workers are really friendly. They always clean the gym equipments to keep a clean environment. Mornings are the perfect time to go if you like it with less traffic. Busiest times I’ve seen are usually between 2-5 pm, only downfall is that it’s not 24/7 but no cons other than that.

So I’m not one to go full Karen or anything of that nature but one thing I can’t tolerate is disrespect and lack of professionalism. Front desk clerk Francisco needs to go over work ethics again and should probably wait til after work to hug friends in there work area while someone is trying to pay for something and ask for information and then completely gaffed me off, and the supervisor didn’t even correct it or even bother to help. This ain’t it y’all need to do better last time I come here.

I like Chuze fitness I like it to ache we talked about Toys”R” us in go to new your before I left chuze yesti felt relaxed after the sauna I won’t 10 dollars everyday may my paycheck I made. I applied for Chuze Fitness and I hope I can start working. Join society in be comfortable being around people. In be committed to my health. I like to be a sales associate still and learn cashier spot. I pray get interacted better with people around me.

This is based on first impressions. Just signed up for a membership and enjoyed the interaction with Aleijah. Great vibe!! Liked the idea of a gym with points earned. Great incentive....besides heath and strength!! 💪 looking forward to workouts even if they have to be masked 😷. Ive been with 24Hour for 2 decades and ready to see how this goes.

Literally about to cancel my membership. All the other gyms have opened up and stay open longer now that covid restrictions are lifting but this place still closes super early which sucks for people who work 2 jobs all day everyday an havent been able to go to the gym I pay for because they choose to stay restricted.

Dislike this location. Staffers were very cool and friendly but gym members dont use wipes on the machines here. They also dont have the coded lockers here, you have to bring your own padlock. Other than that though, its pretty good. Showers have a shelf to put things down (like glasses or soap) which the other locations dont have, and lots of machines available.

Just joined about 3 weeks ago. I was doing my best to stay in shape with the little bit of equipment I have and home, but just cldnt keep holding out for my regular gym to open again. So I found that chuze had stuff set up in the parking lot so I joined. They have everything a guy needs to get by and get a good workout, if you can manage to grab an open piece of equipment. It can be crowded since it seems to be one of only a few games in town....very clean, very friendly, and looking forward to the indoor to open again and not have to worry about ur muscles getting cold waiting for an open machine. If u need to grab a workout, and can be a little patient, then Chuze will definitely work for ya.

There is no trash can in the dressing room . Do you expect a disabled person with limited mobility to walk all the way to the entrance of the mens room to discard trash? Common sense.

I am at high risk for COVID-19. I froze my membership in September. Despite my account being frozen, they continued to bill me. They just billed me another months dues. I called to rectify the situation and was treated very rudely by Aaliyah. Im not sure of the spelling because she refused to tell me how its spelled. She interrupted frequently and threatened to hang up on me simply for me asking for a refund and for asking her how to spell her name so I could record it with my notes for the phone call.She also put the burden on me to call her manager tomorrow morning. Causing further inconvenience and frustration.If you want to get a membership at this gym, be aware that they dont care about you or your health. They only care about money.If you have a membership here, and you think its frozen, check your bank statement to make sure. They will charge you even after they told you the fees are frozen.

Everything was ok until they tried charging me twice for yearly membership in less than 4 months. Counter girl tried showing the bill history acting like they didnt charge. .

I love this gym! I love how friendly everyone is, customers and staff- you can really tell that there’s a sense of community here. Classes are fun to try out and everyone will help you set up if you’re new. It’s always clean and smells nice. Will continue to be a member here!

This gym is the BEST. Pre-covid it was the cleanest gym I had ever been to the staff were constantly walk-in around cleaning, dusting and checking the machines. Now that they have re-opened the staff have upped their already stellar cleaning routine plus added more sanitizing stations to help gym goers wipe down their machines. Chuze is a great gym with an awesome staff! You also cant beat their membership prices!

The staff here is so kind and helpful ive never had an issue they couldn’t solve ! The gym is always clean, the drinks are reasonably priced, you can bring a friend with a premium membership, the hydromassage room is so good when you’re sore! Sometimes it’s busy but never to the point I can’t do my workout. Lots of love and appreciation for All of the staff especially during this pandemic. 🙏❤️

No barbels, power rack, bench press. Only had 4 benches and one half of their pulley machine was broken so they only had half a pulley machine for all their members. Pretty rough place even if their business model is like planet fitness, but the people were friendly.

I enjoyed going to ChuzeFitness unfortunately due to covid -19 I have been trying to cancel my membership with no success. I read on their website to contact my local gym for a email or fax number to cancel my membership but have not been able to get a hold of anyone.

Great local gym with a great price to match. The staff here are very welcoming and are constantly cleaning the facility. The vibe at Chuze is very relaxed and not threatening like many other gyms. They have a good amount of equipment but unfortunately they dont have bench or squat racks. There are tanning and water massage beds for members as well. I also love that I can bring a guest whenever I workout. Chuze Fitness!

The staff is incredibly warm, welcoming, and helpful when you have questions or need a helping hand. The patrons can be pretty great and friendly as well. Plenty of amenities and tough to beat the membership cost.

Avoid at all cost!! Continues to charge my bank account after my husband and myself have continually called to cancel! I have canceled this account now for about five times and Ive even received a confirmation and today they charged my bank!!! I had pulled out all my cash two days prior so now not only was I charged but now I have an overdraft charge and an additional charge from Chuze due to no funds!! Called AGAIN and lady says only manager can help and they are there Monday through Friday and leaves at 2pm. How convenient. I called my bank and asked they dispute this charge and that they refuse Chuze from pulling funds. I have literally dealt with this issue for months and Im so sick of it!! Get it together Chuze and if you value business STOP charging accounts after cancellations. Do yourself a favor and go to planet fitness or another gym that values customers.

Friendly staff and clean equipment. Disinfecting wipes are located around the gym for you to use. Note you must wear a mask.

Good size. Well-designed good separation between cardio machines and weight machines. Nice little turf area, locker rooms and showers are good but not amazing.

The staff here is ALL super friendly and attentive. Machines are always super clean and even when it is packed it is always easy to find somewhere to workout. Manager Jayden goes above and beyond to make sure all members are happy with the gym. I have even seen him greet many individuals by name! Overall cant beat this value and quality.

I was a member at 24 Fitness for years and Ive been to several LA Fitness and Golds Gyms around the country. This is by far the best fitness club Ive been to. The staff are very positive and always there to help you out without hesitation. The facilities are the cleanest Ive ever seen in any gym. The only downside is that there are no barbells. They have smith machines that rotate vertically and horizontally and everything else you could possibly need to get a decent workout. If you are looking to get huge, this is not your gym. If youre sick of being injured or your goals are every other category, this gym has what you need. Tanning beds and individual saunas are awesome.

Chuze Fitness Escondido has been absolutely fantastic! The staff - especially Raul, Victoria, and Payton - are truly wonderful people who care about the gym and its patrons. The facilities are always clean and, so long as you dont go at peak times, the gym is fairly open. Ive never waited more than a minute to use a machine or bench and all the members are really cognizant about taking care of the equipment and wiping down.

Nice people. Always a cheerful hello and goodbye. Sometimes that makes my whole day. Its a pleasure to work out there, but they only have one apparatus that is any good for doing bench pressing and its usually in high demand. They put in two other machines that they say are used for that purpose as well but they are not. They are squat machines. The sad part is is that people dont use those two squat machines and they use the one that is best for doing benching and so you have people waiting to do benches and squats on the one machine where they used to have three. Other than that the people are just awesome the place is clean there are Smiles everywhere except on that one machine.

Great location with amazing staff. Have never felt shamed here, or unwelcome. Very comfortable environment for all, no matter what part of your workout journey you are in!

I truly love Chuze fitness! For $20 a month, I can bring a friend each time, and I have access to unlimited tanning, hydro-massage, and infrared sauna, as well as visit ant location. The hours (at Escondido location) are generally convenient for when I want to work out, the staff is friendly, and the facility is generally clean. My only complaint is some of the machines seem they could use a little maintenance or greasing - a few or the machines seem a little janky or loose. Usually plenty of parking. Can get crowded, but Ive never had to wait for a machine or shower during my am or pm visits.

Super clean and the staff is really friendly but workout equipment selection is not that great. They need more free weights and up to date equipment. But with that being said you cant beat the price.

Very friendly staff. Cheap price and has a vast selection of equipment. My only issue is that it is a small location. Due to the classes the gym can get packed around 5-7pm. It’s usually empty on weekends. Parking is also a hassle, there’s a restaurant, Vons and gas station that usually clog the entrances or parking.

Been a member for almost 3 years! The entire staff is excellent; making sure everyone is greeted upon entering and exiting. Staff keeps the place spotless, always. Very mellow place and no grunting or weight dropping too...BUT... how about an update or two?The water cooler was not operating for 2 weeks, now it does, but theres a tub container under it because of leaks?Most of the TV connections on the cardio equipment does not function or is all static.Weekly there are signs on equipment that indicates its not in working order. And takes weeks to repair.The hand dryers in the Mens rest room usually stop in 2 seconds of turning on.This is a great place to work out, but come on corperate, how about some impovements?Theres a LOT of competition out there....

Such nice people, and its great when its not busy. The only issue I have is that its cold. I know that sounds weird, but when you start to sweat, it can be uncomfortable near the back. Still, Im so glad I made the commitment, and as a commitaphobe, this is a big step for me!EDIT: after 2 years, its gone downhill - the whole place has a terrible odor & machines just kept breaking. Im glad I cancelled when I did, before Covid. A yearly fee is a joke - and it was $10 lower for me. I visited all Chuzes in SD, and there is something wrong with every one of them. I got burnt out and gained a little over half of what I lost. I now have it under control, working out at home, which means nobody really needs a gym if you have the will to work it out in the fresh air or inside.

Im giving this place one star for my personal training expirience. My personal trainer was Ashley, before signing up I got an assessment done. she was very friendly, she said I would be receiving emails from her daily, she would be giving me a daily excercise plan and a meal plan and what not. She convinced me, so I purchased the twice a week for 30min each session package. Little did I know, she did nothing of what she promised. i never got no emails to help with my eating habits, no exercising plan for the week. I complained to the manager and he was no help. As for the staff theyre really friendly and helpful, I give them 5 stars!!

Friendly staff, classes, circuit training, lots of elliptical and treadmills, exercise machines and free weight, modernized changing rooms with lockers, sauna sunbedsetc. Very clean and never smelly.
