I am 27 and have been studying kickboxing at Lund Martial Arts for almost a year now. I had never done any sports or anything athletic/exercise related before this. I couldnt believe how much I loved it right away - I was excited about exercise for the first time in my life! Mr.Moreland does a great job meeting everyone on their personal skill level while challenging them to stretch themselves. I felt comfortable as a beginner and I can really look back and see the progress Ive made. The class is supportive and friendly! Ive made some amazing friends that encourage me and cheer me on to my goals! I cant wait to see what lies ahead for me in my training.

I went to couples fight night this past year and it was a blast. The 60 minute session went by so fast, but the never having had much experience in martial arts felt accomplished at the end of the night. The focus on technique and health in order to build up strength and a strong foundation made me feel confident in learning new things without feeling that I would end up hurting myself. I never really thought Id be doing a roundhouse kick in my life, but I was able to execute and surprise myself. Definitely hope I can go to more events and incorporate more knowledge within my life.

My Name is Braelin Fiscus and I am 7 and a student at Lund Martial Arts. I really like my teachers because they are really good at describing the moves. For example, Mr. Shokalok described where to place my fist by comparing it to a birds nest with eggs in it and you would never have a nest upside down. I just like martial arts. I like the moves and I am really excited about the tournament. They do fun things like the tournament and the board break-a-thon and there is also promotions night.

My son attends Lund. They are very professional and knowledgeable. We would definitely recommend them to anybody interested in martial arts.

As soon as you walk in the doors of Lund Martial Arts Academy, you are hit with a feeling of being welcomed. The instructors are kind and care about their students while maintaining high-quality martial arts classes. It is not about being the best, but rather its about being your best. Since joining, I have become more confident and respectful, and at the same time I am able to train both my mind and body. It does not matter if you are a child, a teenager, or an adult, as this academy can guide you to be a better person if you work hard for it. I love being a part of Lund and would recommend it to anyone seeking to improve their life.

Lund martial arts academy is amazing! I’m so absolutely beyond pleased with the amount of confidence & discipline my son has gained since joining. Although he has only been a student for a few months, his self esteem was boosted almost immediately and it continues to rapidly grow. That self confidence carries over to ALL areas of my sons life. It’s made such a positive effect on our lives. I’m so very grateful to Mr. Lee and Mr. Baker, as they are such excellent role models to the children and they teach them so much in a caring way. Lund Martial arts is great with kids. They teach positive behaviors and a healthy lifestyle. My kids do the martial arts and I do the kicking. Their kickboxing classes are a fantastic total body workout no matter what your abilities are. While my 68 year old mother was visiting recently she took the kickboxing classes for a week and the strong woman class and loved it! I wish I started coming to Lund Martial arts sooner!

Lund Martial Arts is an amazing place! The classes are fun and the instructors are nice. The only thing I would change is having an hour long class instead of the 45 minutes. Other than that, it is fantastic! I would definitely recommend it to anyone who asks. (William N.)

We have been going to Lund for close to five years now. It’s a great school; teaching not only martial arts but core values, responsibility and respectability. My son and I take classes at Lund and we love it. While teaching traditional martial arts, they also teach self-discipline, self-confidence and what respect, integrity, and being proactive means. They also teach how to defend yourself. They have an incredible group of instructors that try to make sure that everyone gets the best experience possible. I also love that this is something we get to do together and I can model a healthy lifestyle to my children. I would recommend them to anyone.

Lund martial arts has been great for our two boys. They are learning self control, self confidence, and self respect. My youngest thinks all the instructors are awesome! My oldest loves the skills he is learning to boost his inner strength and the skills that he can carry through the rest of his life! I personally go to Lund and it is just amazing. So amazing to the point I dont want to quit. The staff are really nice and they are really kind. I really recommend Lund if you or your kids want to do karate/ martial arts.

I like that they teach kids and grownups, and that they have very unique systems. When I visited other karate places, I liked Lund Martial Arts more because the teachers spent time talking to me and did a great job of explaining what I was supposed to do in each of my lessons.

My son has been taking martial arts with the Lund Academy for several years now. All of the instructors are beyond amazing with the students. They encourage my son to be the best he can be, while instilling confidence and teaching respect. Lund Martial Arts is not all about belt rank. There is certainly a goal every student is reaching for, but you need to be ready for it. Mr. Patrick Lee has taught my son if he is not ready for the next step, that is ok. You need to want it, earn it and dont give up. In my eyes Lund does not just teach lessons that pertain to martial arts, but also lessons that a person can carry with them throughout life in all aspects. I would recommend this school to everyone!

Lund’s is a great place to learn Martial Arts. My son has had the best experience there. All of the instructors are well trained, and there are always plenty of instructors for the amount of children. He looks forward to every class.

Im going to start off by saying that joining Lund Martial Arts was the single best thing that ever happened to me. Before I joined, I was extremely shy, socially awkward, and I did not have a lot of confidence in myself.Then I joined Lund. Because of the phenomenal experience I had, I became exponentially more self confident, came out of my shell almost completely, and actually started speaking to other human beings. (Im still socially awkward, its just not as noticeable).The instructors really care about every single one of their students, and it shows. Lund Martial Arts has been a wonderful experience for my son. The instructors are patient, kind, and great with little kids. They balance the discipline and self-control of martial arts with understanding the needs and limits of little kids.

My two girls have been attending Lund Martial Arts for almost a year. They are 12 and 7. I looked into the program for my older daughter. I thought it would be a great place to teach her respect and discipline. They have learned so much more than that. They have so much confidence in themselves without being conceited. Mr. Lund and the rest of the staff truly care about all of their students. They have taken the time to sit and talk with my girls if they are having problems at school or with friends. They always ask how the girls are doing and if I am having any issues at home, they will talk to the girls about it. Both of the girls are in the Master Training program and are so proud of themselves for earning those blue jackets. I have never seen them care or stick with an activity like this and it is because of Mr. Lund and the entire staff at Lund Martial Arts. I would and have recommended Lund Martial Arts to anyone.

My son has been going for about 6 months now and this is a fantastic academy. He started with the after school program they did in Mckean and enjoyed it so much he continued on and now has his orange belt. The instructors are patient, fun and keep an entire room of 6-9 yr olds attention with ease. I highly recommend!

Lunds is a great place for kids and adults to create themselves through their training both physically and mentally. Upon entering the academy, there is always a sense of of welcoming and a friendly atmosphere. The instructors and students-in-training are patient with all the students. They are always setting new individual goals to improve each student including the instructors.Dexter says that the training gives him confidence in himself.Spencer was originally enrolled in order to help with his focus. He has improved over time and still has a way to go working on his focus. He says that training helps with dealing with bullies/defending himself against bad people.As an adult, I enjoy going to Lunds Academy for the peace I feel when I enter the building. I take both kickboxing and traditional classes, which may sound like a lot to some, but the feeling of I did it and feeling great from the exercise is a win win for me. I am also a big advocate for the Strong Womens class. I feel that every woman should take the course at least once. The basic principles of defense will help any woman who could be confronted. I attend this class every time its offered to help the instructor demonstrate techniques or if another person is needed to practice the techniques.

This is a very good place, the coaches have a good set of how to guide the children to practice, and the courses are lively and lively. My eldest son is six years old this year and has been studying here for nearly a year, and the younger son is two years old and plans to let him start learning taekwondo next year.
