Order it for me - so you can charge me a 300% mark-up on the price you paid? Well, call me crazy, but Im going to respectfully pass on that offer. Pass on this sleezy business. Percussed a seat for BMW . They send me pictures and told me just needs cleaning . When I got the seat was complete opposite what they said . the lather it is completely dry and the seat was very rusty . They refused the return .Buyers be aware, do not buy from this people

Need bumper for inspection. Mechanic located one here. . hundred bucks plus tax. It wont pass inspection either. They knowingly and willingly sold junk. Tried to return. Only store credit. I paid with debit like cash. What am I to do with $100 store credit to a junkyard? Tried to blame my mechanic for lack of knowledge! Tried to salvage. Welder says $150+. No guarantee! Sold junk. I am out my hard earned cash. Still no bumper for inspection! Dont recommend this place.

They asked me to wait in the parking lot while they got my part and I waited 45 minutes no word and I left. I went back again Monday to pick it up it wasnt ready and when they brought it out it was about to the point it was unusable and I would not purchase it. So basically a total waste of time.

Ive always had a good experience here. Read some bad reviews. Lets be realistic, youre buying parts from a salvage yard. They dont ask the former owners to get into accidents that cater to YOUR parts needs. They get salvage cars and strip parts off. Thats the risk you take buying salvage parts. Also, they dont have a heated garage for each one of their salvage cars, despite what you may believe. It rains and snow in Erie. Thats why you pay $20 for a $180 part, or $600 for a $2500 part, etc. Ive been buying parts here for at least 10 years, and have never been disappointed. They sold me a transmission that worked perfectly, and they installed it for considerably less than a garage. Saved me a wad of cash.

What a Rip-Off. I ordered a door handle and told the guy exactly what color I needed. He (Jason) ships the wrong color (apparently all reds are the same to them. Hint: Candy apple and Maroon are much different), when I call him he tells me the boss said I could return it but they dont refund shipping. So Im supposed to cover the $40 shipping on a $25 part that has to be returned due to YOUR ERROR? Also listed the part as A grade, the part they sent was all scuffed and scratched up, needed to be painted. AVOID THESE PEOPLE.

Ordered a part and was told they would deliver it to the garage doing the work. Part was never delivered but credit card charge remained! Called to cancel the order and was charged a 20% restocking fee and an additional $10.00 for shipping. So it takes 20% for someone to pick up a small box and put it on a shelf!!! OUTRAGEOUS AND ABSURD. WOULD NOT recommend Community Auto Recycling to my worst enemy!!!

Called for a iacv and they stated they have one for $30. but cant guarantee it works and if it doesnt work I cant return it but it has a 30 day warranty? What kind of scam is that? Nice first impression, I wont be considering this place in the future for anything.

My father was completely ripped off by this company I went in to purchase a regulator for a valvo door window and they asked me to call him and offer him $300 for the his Jeep which only needed a fuel pump by the way he then took the Jeep up there and they would only give him a $150 because they claim that in one week the price of scrap dropped in half I would highly advise you not do business with this company unless you do not plan on getting your money back or any type of returns if theres issues with the equipment that you get from them

I bought a windshield form community auto aut when I cleaned the windshield I knowest a few chips witch I was fine with then I knowest a crack and then I called them asking if they could get a different one and they told me they cant bc they dont do warranty on glass but they could give me a discount on the next one but I said no bc how do you sell a glass with a crack but they said they checked it over before selling it to me but how do you check glass that I had to use three rags to clean the glass to see all the imperfections in it

I purchased a 2012 Subaru Forester motor in March. The purchased online and initially struggled to get them to send me a receipt for my purchase. I received the motor, and it was not the correct motor, and had been messed with leaving the oil dipstick pinched between the timing cover and engine block. I asked how they would remedy the situation and was given the runaround repeatedly. After working with my mechanic and a local Subaru dealership, I have continued to inform them of the issues with the motor. I have asked for my money back or a replacement motor with no concrete response from this company - (Anthony and Ernie) in particular. Im out $3,100 plus another $1,500 in attempts to make the motor work. My advice is to avoid this company at all costs for their lack of professionalism and willingness to take responsibility for their mistakes. Truly the worst consumer experience of my life.

I called these guys looking for SBC 350 and he said he had the perfect motor for me, just came in last week strong running blah blah. I came in to pick it up and it looked rough so I asked him face to face, he tells me the same story, he probably tells it to everyone. I buy it on his word. I get it home and immediately start working on it, pull the #1 spark plug and a fountain of rust water came squirting out. The entire engine was full of water. I calmly call them back half hour after I left the store and explain the situation and he said there nothing they can do too bad. As I start to tell this story to my friends and family it turns out it all to common of a story. Avoid this place. There are plenty of other places to get parts they dont deserve your money.

2 days ago bought transmission for 2004 Hyundai Accent. It had warranty to be functional. The mechanic, at the garage, said it had missing bearings. It is not functional. It was returned to Community Auto. After a long dispute they finally called the garage, who confirmed the bad transmission, then only gave back 75 %. They called the unreturned portion a restock fee. Restock fees are for functional items. I hope they do not restock this non-functioning transmission. Beware!

Order a transmission from them they send it and the 5th gear is almost falling off the shaft. the transmission is junk not even a good core. So the bill was 400.00 and left me paying the shipping of $250.00 in my opinion that is not good business practices. Will not recommend doing business with them. I would have been happy if they split the shipping cost but they sold me a bad transmission and that is on them.

This place is a rip-off. Unless money, mud and time are not a problem for you, stay away from this place!
