Ljupka did a color correction on my hair. I never thought in a million years she could correct the color of my hair in one visit and she did! I have been to the best salons in Manhattan and no one has ever come close to the quality of hair color than AME salon. All the people who work there are very kind. I guarantee you; you will not be disappointed if you come to this salon.

Best salon ever!!! I went there after my hair was ruined by another hairstylist. They took me in and made my hair amazing!!!! I am sooo happy with it! The staff is amazing and Ljupka is the best!! Salon owner Ljupka did an absolutely incredible job on my hair for my wedding! All I did was show her a few pictures of hairdos I liked and a picture of my dress, and she knew IMMEDIATELY what I wanted. My hair came out better than I could have imagined and lasted all night! She is a true professional artist and I couldn’t recommend her more highly.The salon has also taken great precautions for COVID and I felt extremely comfortable there.Thank you so much!!!

I absolutely love to visit Ames salon. Arelys is very precise and cut my hair wonderfully. She has colored my hair as well and everytime it comes out perfectly. Its been a long time since I have felt a level of trust with whoever cut my hair as much as I immediately felt with Mila. After a few conversations over the phone she proved to be so knowledgeable, I had to take the trek from the city to New Jersey to see what she could do as I finally got a haircut due to the pandemic after almost a year! Its not common to change ones hair style but thanks to her incredible vision, passion and love for what she does it seems that after 27 years of doing my hair the same way, a new style is born- and I love it! My stylist was Anca and she was amazing !!!She was so nice and did an amazing job fixing my hair. It had uneven color and looked awful. By the time Anca was done my hair, haircut, highlights and toner, looked amazing and it was like nothing had happened. She cut it perfectly and styled it beautifully. If you ever need a hair cut or anything come here and Anca will take care of you. Ill totally be coming back when I need a haircut and/or color my hair!!Highly recommend Anca !!!

Ive been searching for a professional hair salon for a while. I read many salons reviews and I came across AME Salon reviews and I took my chance based on what people wrote. I had Anca as my stylist and I want to say that she was very professional. She explained everything that I must have done to get my dreamed hair. She had to do a color correction that took some time but Im so happy she had the patience with my hair. It was worth the time because it came out AMAZING. It passed my expectations. Anca will be my stylist for life I will definitely recommend her to my friends.

One of the best salons I have ever been to. Mila is absolutely the best, I just love her. Not only is she a magician and one of the best colorist I have ever met, she is truly genuine and has an awesome personality. The salon is clean and the staff is super friendly, not a stuffy vibe at all (which I appreciate so much). Like I have told Mila before, she has a client for life! Just PLEASE PLEASE dont move to Cali ;)

I wish I can give them zero starts, Don’t waste your money or your time, I paid $350 for the worse service I have ever received in my life, they are the worse I didn’t get the color or hair cut I wanted, and as a first time client it’s extremely disappointing, I spoke to the owner lupjka who offered to fix the issue, however I feel that I waited 3 weeks for this appointment and I show the stylist Anca pictures of what I wanted and still didn’t got even close to what I ask. AGAIN DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY

I didn’t want to comment months ago because I didn’t want to be extra but with the owner telling lies about me not being a customer, cmon stop. It was mad expensive. I was told on the phone it would at least be $160 to $200 but was charged $300....Wanted all my hair bleached because I wanted it to be silver and she said it would take many processes to get it to the color I wanted. Okay I understand that but she decided to bleach strands of my hair instead and What’s the point of bleaching my hair if you’re going apply dark toner to it and claiming it would become somewhat gray after washing my hair at home, it never came to be gray just dark blue. Never wanted that. Other salons managed to get my hair somewhat gray after just one process with a Lower price.

I had an amazing experience.. With Yasmine a master stylist she is truly a miracle worker.. total transformation of my hair.. my hair was over processed and orange.the color and cut was beyond my expectations.. Her knowledge of hair processing is astonishing she had a vision for my hair and how to fix it and undo the damage.. the results is outstanding.. please go see Yasmine.. her knowledge to detail and her vision will transform u and leave u with an endless smile...

Absolutely LOVE this place!!! You will always be greeted with a warm smile here. The staff is attentive making sure you are comfortable and listen to your requests with honesty, and a tremendous amount of talent. I have been going to Ljupka for over 4 years now. And Im so very happy with her. I have since introduced my sisters, and girlfriends. My hair has never looked so healthy and beautiful!!! Worth every penny!!!!!

A hidden gem (located next to Roses) just off Engle Street. Talent abounds at this salon -- not only did I walk out looking better than when I arrived but it was true of all the clients. New York talent without the commute. Lupa (spelling?) is one of the owners and one of the best colorists and stylists I have ever encountered.

This was my first visit and I loved it!I am definitely sticking with Mila as my colorist!!She listened to what I wanted and she recommended a few things, it came out better than what I expected! She is passionate and knowledgeable of her work and it shows! She took her time and made sure my experience was worth it.I highly recommend her!!

The salon is very cool and everyone was very welcoming. Mila was my stylist and she is super nice, fun and extremely creative. I think she had a lot of fun cutting and styling my hair. 😁 She was also wonderful with my 8 year old daughter and created a beautiful look for her First Communion. I love her and cant wait for my next visit!

I came in to get a haircut and partial highlights. Mila was amazing as always. Always knows what to do to make you look great. She is professional and all of her work comes naturally. I have been going to her for 2 years now. She is located in a nice and cute section of englewood next to all the boutiques and restaurants right on Engle st. Her sister always does amazing work and they work very well together. Natural artists! The salon has a cute, modern contemporary ambiance to it. Definitely check it out.

You could not pay me to go back there. I was called at 3:17 asking where I was for 3:00 appointment when appointment was 3:30 they insisted it was 3:00 but I work until 3 so I know it was changed. There was no parking and had to park down the street (and when I asked if I would get ticket because of time there they said “I don’t think so”). Then they had me wait til 5 to be taken back only to have my partial highlights be a root touch up. (I don’t have grays and didn’t want that. I’ve only ever gotten partial highlights and never only had on TOP of my head... she completely left out my bangs so my hair is interesting right now). To top it off, besides being left for her to snack, or talk with friends without any notice, the haircut I asked for was not remotely close to what I asked. But I was asked to review...

Everyone should come here! If you want a stylist who will CARE about the condition of your hair and give you HONEST opinion then this is the salon for you. They use products that is Least damaging to your hair. Very friendly staff, BEAUTIFUL inside, clean. I dont ever want to to go to anyone else ! 💜💜

Firstly, I am so so happy that Ljupka and Mila finally got to open their own place! That being said, both of them are two of the most talented stylists I know. I got my very first balayage done by them and I dont trust anyone else. They listen to you, spoil you, make you laugh, and do a magical job. Regardless of how bad the current state of your hair is, youll come out with a better, transformed hair. Mila just spent a little above 4 hours on a FRIDAY night few weeks back to fix my roots and balayage (I have extremely dark hair that does not lift easily). They are dedicated and love what they do. You can actually feel the enthusiasm when youre there. These two sisters are true artists who have hands of magic. Salon has a great atmosphere. Highly recommend
