Honestly doesnt even deserve 1 star, this guy is a scam artist. My car was ready pass the state inspection as it did 4 months prior to the incident I am writing about but after my sibling refused to let him work on their car for a fee that almost made choke he didnt want to pass my car. Please dont go here he doesnt really fix your car, i had to take time off of work and fix my siblings car after Doug drained their bank account and still didnt manage to fix the problem.

I honestly have never trusted and genuinely liked a mechanic this much. My family has been seeing Doug for almost a decade now. Hes always honest and straight-forward. Hes a no-nonsense kind of guy and is always clear about timelines for repairs. Ive never met an individual who knew more about all cars - foreign, domestic etc. Do yourself a favor and entrust your car to him.When I first moved to the area I had a car that I used to get repaired at a commercial shop. Doug took a look at the car and identified imminent mechanical issues and gave me a time-table for what needed fixing (ie: the brakes are shot and dangerous - your tires probably have another 6 months, etc.)Lastly - Ive never had repeat issues, like with other places. Hes thorough - once he says it is fixed, it is. Ive had him perform small jobs (oil changes and regular maintenance as well as replace a clutch, do transmission work and he rebuilt the engine in my mothers car).
