Called to schedule an oil change /tire rotation on a Wednesday and was in by Friday! Haven’t been there before so they had to get me registered in their system which took little time. Had my Pilot back and washed within an hour! None of the problems I faced with my prior dealership! Will definitely be returning! Thanks Mike at Great Lakes Honda! My experience went extremely well!!

Have used this dealership since it was Jack Matia and continue to come here now that it is Great Lakes. It is wonderful service. Everyone is very polite and they answer your questions. I have used there service department, purchased vehicles and use there parts department and they have all been very positive experiences. I wish other car dealerships felt the same way as Great Lakes Honda.

Mike is always so courteous and professional when I get my car serviced here. He does a great job of explaining the work that needs to be done and exploring options. I take my car to this dealership for service even though its more expensive than other places because I know it will get the best treatment to keep it running well for years to come.

My initial interaction with everyone was good. Was pleased to be offered a loaner car to use while my car was being serviced. I did have a confusing interaction with the receptionist when checking on when my car would be done. Not sure if she checked on it or not. She told me she wasnt certain if it would be done that day, but they were working hard to get it done. After I completed the phone call, I realized I missed a call from my service rep, which happened over an hour before telling me my car was ready.

They were very attentive at first, but no one ever called to tell me my car was done. When I went to pick it upon Friday evening, the keys were missing. Spent 45 minutes looking for my key. Which was on a salesperson desk. She was trying to get me in a new car apparently. Patty is on my list. Service department was awesome and fixed my A/C which was a known problem, so it was free. Will go back and have my car serviced there again.

PLEASE READ BEFORE GOING HERE. I have never written a review in my life but for the sake of others considering using this service center I need to share my experience. This service center outright lied to me about my condenser that was causing my AC to malfunction. My car is under the warranty extension for the condenser tubes defect and my issue should have been covered under warranty. The tech wrote in his inspection that some lower fins were damaged with small areas of impact. So they would not repair it under warranty due to outside influence. Well it took me teaching myself about car condensers and this warranty extension to know that a 5 year old car will 100% have some small areas of impact on the condenser fins. Just about any car will have this as the fins are damaged by bugs and gravel hitting them as you drive. Regardless, the warranty extension had nothing to do with the fins, it had to do with the tubes. My report did even mention the word tubes. I had to find the actual Honda issued documentation on this warranty extension inspection procedure that said word for word if the condenser fins are damaged but the tube face is not or tubes are corroded then it is covered under warranty. I spoke with the tech AND the manager who kept repeating they couldnt do anything to fix it under warranty because the condenser was damaged by a foreign object. Well, if they had read the document or if the manager had bothered to review the work the tech had done perhaps they would have realized they were wrong. They tried to charge me $800 to fix something that was supposed to be covered under warranty. Whether this was out of ignorance or purposefully, it doesnt matter. I took this to another Honda service center who fixed it and said there was nothing damaged by foreign objects and the condenser clearly had normal small impacts to the fins but the tubes were fine and they fixed it under warranty. I told them that Great Lakes told me a branch impacted the condenser and this other dealership said that was not true, there was no damage like that whatsoever. As someone that knows pretty much NOTHING about cars I saved $800 by not trusting TRAINED CAR TECHS or this service center and teaching myself about car condensers. Completely disgusted with my OWN dealership.

My wife took the car in for oil change and tire rotation. Chris the service tech was polite and professional. He noticed she was wearing a mask for COVID protection and opened the door for her (when she entered the building), so she wouldnt have to touch the handle. They recommended additional work (new tires). Chris returned my call and answered my questions. He was understanding and didnt pressure me when I decided to wait. We bought the car there and they have done all of the maintenance on it. They even went to bat for me with Honda corporate on a previous warranty claim. The situation was satisfactorily resolved.

They did an outstanding job putting the protectant on the exterior and interior of my new car. They were prompt, professional, and on task. The loaner they did provide me could have used some interior cleaning before it was handed over, but those are minor details compared to their overall service. Im looking forward to returning again to have my new Honda serviced with them!

We called from the toll road and asked if they could look at our vehicle. As soon as we arrived, they diagnosed the problem and repaired the transmission oil switch within two hours.. Mara was super helpful and did a wonderful job of taking care of us and our vehicle. We nearly broke down on the toll road, and we were not sure if our car could be repaired that day., but she was encouraging and kind.We were thrilled that they expedited the repair work and got us on our way. They also put air in the tires and checked out the vehicle.We were on our way to visit our daughter in North Carolina who was recovering from surgery..We appreciate Great Lakes Honda West!!!

Monday when I brought my car in, Matt greeted me and was very attentive and friendly and kind. I was very impressed with him.Now, Wednesday evening an alert went off saying to check my fuel cap! It didn’t go off after unscrewing and tightening back on. Today Thursday leaving work the red park alert flashed along with the engine light. I was scared to drive to your dealership. Matt again said he’d make it right. The fuel pump apparently wasn’t good or the oring and they’re ordering another. I’m just hoping that I’m not going to continually have problems in the future. I only have 12,000 miles and wAnted a Honda since I had 17 years on my accord.

You need to be specific about what you want them to check. My alternator was bad, but I did not ask them to specifically check that. The form said that everything was good. Less than 24 hours later, I had a dead battery because the alternator was not charging it.
