Now I’ve been to my share of wax places. But waxing the city is amazing!!! They treat you like family nothing but laughs!! I love how they’re not pushy with sales that make you want to run or memberships. They literally make you want to come back on your own with their professionalism and great wax work! It wasn’t rushed nor hurt! I am team Orange for now on 😆

Receptionist was extremely unprofessional and rude. As I was explaining my concerns she kept interrupting and telling me I was wrong. I got charged $40 for a six minute service, because I was ten minutes late. It’s ridiculous that a business does not take into consideration that life happens and that I was late because of traffic not because I’m inconsiderate. She said she gave me grace period, but how is that grace period if I didn’t get the service I wanted? She said I was scheduled for a 15 minute Brazilian, but I had never gotten a Brazilian done in 15 minutes there before. Usually has been way longer than that. Very disappointed in the customer service. Should really train employees to find a solution to a paying customers concerns instead of making it seem like they’re doing them a favor.

Yesterday was my first time at Waxing The City. My experience was great. Everyone was so friendly. Nicole did a fantastic job and made me feel so comfortable. She was so knowledgeable and took her time with me in explaining to me the process and after care. I will definitely be returning. Thank you!

I was in search of a new place because my usual eyebrow place was closing, so I found this and from the MINUTE I booked the appointment til the day of, I was blown away by the amazing customer service!!! Alexandria at the front desk is super sweet, bubbly and has a great personality. Nicole did my eyebrow wax & tint, I was absolutely 100% satisfied!!! She made me look and feel confident! Nicole knows how to take care of her clients, thats for sure! I will be coming back here again and again!!!

Ive been coming here consistently for about 4 or 5 sessions, getting my eyebrows, underarms, legs, and brazilian waxed each time. Ive seen two cerologists, both Brooke and Morgan, and they continue to be professional, efficient, warm-hearted, and clearly good at their work. The receptionist, Alexandria, is very knowledgeable and informative about all of the services, memberships and products that WTC offers, and shes always happy to answer any questions I might have. All of the employees have definitely educated me about the importance of consistent waxing and post-wax care, and a few of their products - PFB chemical exfoliant and the dry body oil specifically - have become staples in my body care routine. Ive also gotten a lash lift and tint, performed by Brooke, and I had a great first experience! It lasted longer than I expected and made the best subtle difference to my look. Overall, the environment is vibrant, clean, and inviting, and I cant imagine myself looking anywhere else for my wax!

Wow amazing! My brows look great! First time getting them waxed since covid! Everyone here is very nice as well! Wish some services were cheaper.

I usually don’t write reviews but Alexandria and Nicole were so amazing I had to. I came in close to closing and Alexandria was so welcoming and informative about their products and specials. Nicole did a amazing job on my wax and her personality was even better than the wax job! They both convinced me to try to sugar scrub and pfb roll on and I’m excited to come in and see them again

My first experience with waxing the city was 10/10. Chavon is the best!!! Not only is she very skilled at what she does, she’s also such a sweet person and makes you feel comfortable and at ease. I’ve been waxing for over a year & that was the least painful wax I’ve ever had. Overall wonderful experience & will definitely be back!

I have been coming to WTC for a couple of months and have even become a member ! From being greeted or even on the phone with Alex at the front desk (she is always so nice and friendly) To both Morgan and Nicole taking care of me! They do such a great job and are very knowledgeable in what they’re doing. Always on time and NEVER wait more than 5 minutes to be seen. Highly recommend!

I was sad to leave my esthetician when I moved away, but this place opened and I gave it a shot. Very nice staff and so far they do a great job. My only gripe is that the 2 girls I got used to have both left and they seem to have someone new every time I go here. Other than that, a nice spot to get waxed at.

This was my first time at Waxing the City, but not my first wax. And they knocked it out of the ballpark! Brooke did a fantastic job and it was a great experience all around, from the atmosphere and top-notch customer service and friendly staff. Will definitely be back!

Love this location and company but let’s be honest - I’d follow Brooke anywhere she goes! She is always amazing! I’ve been waxed by 2 other technicians at different companies and it was terribly painful. I was nervous to try it again but Brooke changed my experience completely! She’s gentle, professional, knowledgeable and is somehow able to minimize the pain significantly. Already booked my next appointment for myself and even got my mom on board!The company offers excellent products, friendly staff, clean environment, professional interactions and timeliness for appointments!

Went to waxing the city in Elmhurst for my first waxing when i walked in I got a warm and friendly welcoming. Nancy did my waxing she is very nice and answered all of my questions she pays attention to detail and did an amazing job. I was so nervous since it was going to be my first time having any waxing done but thanks to you ladies my first experience was great thank you so much. I wanted to get my legs waxed and didn’t know where I should go. I did a google search for businesses near me. Waxing the City ads started showing up in my newsfeed quite regularly. I found your website very informative about the different types of waxing services available.I still hesitated to book an appointment because your ads feature young, fit people and I’m a self conscious, plus size older woman who hadn’t had her legs waxed since she was young and fit. With some encouragement I finally got up the nerve to book an appointment Upon arrival I was greeted by the very friendly receptionist. She got me registered and let me know that my Cerologist was with another client and would be with me shortly. My Cerologist Brooke introduced herself and brought me back to the waxing room. The room was clean and well lit. I told her it had been more than 20 years since I had my legs waxed and I had never had a bikini wax. She explained what I needed to do to prepare for my waxing while she stepped out of the room. Let me tell you after putting on the disposable underwear I was wishing I had never booked the appointment. With that being said I had an absolutely positive experience. Brooke was so professional and made me feel comfortable through the entire process. She answered any questions I had and explained everything she would be doing and why each step of the way. After completing my services she discussed after care and maintenance. Overall it was a nearly painless experience. Not at all what I imagined. While checking out I was given information about future services, discounts and referrals. I am so happy with my experience with Brooke I have already booked my next appointment...

I have never in my life had a worst service experience. When the waxing girl left the room I noticed strips of hair left on my legs and bikini area. When I came out to ask for her she was more concerned about her phone than what was going on with me. She came back in about 5 minutes later fixed some areas. When I came back home I still found areas with hair left. Going back to European Wax.

First time here and everything went so great! My cerologist, Brooke, was so friendly and amazing at what she does! I will certainly be coming back to see her! Thanks ladies!!

The atmosphere was amazing! I literally felt like I was at a spa about to get a facial rather than a Brazilian. It was very calm and soothing all around. I loved how music was played in the rooms and it wasnt just radio silence. My cerologist, Catia, was very friendly and informative about not only Waxing the City, but also post wax care. She was able to carry on a great conversation and informed me of some tips to help battle my psoriasis. She made me feel comfortable and relaxed the entire time! The reason for my three star rating is due to a couple reasons... 1. The wax took way too long. My appointment was at 5:30 and I didnt leave until 6:30. Never in my life, and Ive gone months/even years in between waxes, has it taken so long. 2. It felt as if the wax was being applied in very small sections and it felt as if she kept applying wax to the same spot over and over. I understand that maybe all the hair didnt come up the first time, but going over the same spot multiple times was painful. I wish she would have switched to the soft wax at that point because 15 hours later Im still experiencing pain and tenderness. I literally feel as if my skin was ripped off... Not a pleasant feeling. 3. The wax was incredibly hot. However; that wasnt Catias fault... She did adjust it when I said that it was a little too hot but it didnt make much of a difference. Despite that, I will be coming back to give it another chance. They have a lot of services that I would love to try!
