I had my Peterbilt serviced at JX Truck Center and couldnt be more pleased with the service. The parts manager Peter was extremely honest and didnt push me into buying an expensive $1200 part for my truck. Instead he recommended fixing it for much less and it works perfect. He quickly found what was wrong with the truck and fixed the issue very fast. I recommend anyone with truck issues to have them serviced at this location.
JX Truck Center Peterbilt should be on every Owner Operators list as an approved shop. The customer service was second to none and they take pride in their work.As a new carrier I will be continuing to bring my business here and get the truck serviced.
Besides being knowledgeable and efficient, the service was friendly and they seem to go above and beyond there. Pat at the service desk is the reason I can say this. We have used JX Elmhurst service department a few times, and I have to recognize the second (evening) shift in the service department as probably the best group of mechanics in the Chicago area. They are extremely knowledgeable, quick with the correct diagnosis, and repair our trucks fairly quickly. David is by far the most competent super-master mechanic in the area, and is leading and guiding a great group of techs. They run a well stocked shop, clean and organized, it is simply a pleasure to have our trucks serviced there.I do not really have much experience with the first shift though, but if they are even half as good as the second shift, you will not regret taking your truck to them.

For a few years now JX Elmhurst is our primary go to place for parts and supplies. We operate Critical Express, a small truck shop, and we rely on a good supplier. Service, pricing and availability of parts and supplies in JX Elmhurst location is probably the best in the area, especially for Paccar parts and their truck brands.John Samek, parts manager, is easy to work with, and is running a very good operation. I think over the years he built a strong counter team, which is very knowledgeable and willing to help. You do not find this kind of a team in most dealerships, definitely a big plus.The place tends to get busy, especially on Saturdays, so I suggest getting there in the evenings, when there are no crowds.
This is my second time coming to this location looking to get something repaired as I was on the go. Last time they literally took me in on the fly, got me fixed and I was on the road again. This weekend I dropped my 1997 Pete 379 off to get a Flex Exhaust Pipe installed. They were busy but again, found a way to get me in. Pipe was installed and we were out the door 3 hours later. Im not saying your going to get this lucky, BUT, the team here is very responsive, attentive and respectful on the phone. I felt that they really did try to do their best to get me taken care of and help me understand what needed to be done. Each visit was a very positive experience. Thank you team for getting me taken care of.

On June 22nd, I bought parts for $315.99, because my husbands truck broke down in the middle of the road, so I bought the parts and went to him. Since it Im assuming I looked like I didnt know trucks well. They gave me new parts but it were broken parts. I dont even want to give them one star.

I paid around $13,000 in a 3 week period without being able to work. Today, the 7 day work was finished and it cost around $9,000. It seems like nothing was fixed at all and everything was basically the same as before. After 17 miles of driving the check engine lights turned back on.

Weve been a customer of this dealership ever since we bought our first truck. We never had any problems whatsoever and you cant say that about too many places in this area. All their staff is very professional, from the girl who schedule service appointments through parts dept. guys to technicians. They were able to help me with a big problem that I had with one of my Cummins engines and Im very grateful for that. Otherwise I would still be adding 5-6 quarts of oil every 2000 miles. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a PROFESSIONAL truck service or genuine truck parts. !!!
Not even worth for a star...the worst service experiences in my life..dont even know if they really know how to fix the truck. It took more than a week to fix the truck.. 4 days to diagnose and 4 days to fix?? Be careful..there is a huge difference between the estimated invoice and the final invoice. The coolant level was wrong.. We want them to fix the tilted steering wheel, but (it was tilted to right side before) now it is tilted to left. I dont know what they really did on this. I never recommend this place to fix or buy your truck.

This place suck. Took my truck there. For a reduced power due to low scr and fault lights. They so called diagnose and 7 hours later say nothing is wrong and try to charge 900 when I had warranty. So I leave and 5 hrs later, faults come back on and stalling. So I had to stay over night for a job the day shift didnt do.
Great place and great people to deal with . I bought a truck from this place a month ago and got a good deal . Anastasija very knowlegable sales persn for trucks . She knows trucks in and out and can show you to a good truck to testdrive it! Even the manager was friendly and nice and easy dealmaking person.Definitly will recomend this place po do business with to everybody!

Guy behind the left side counter sat there and talked to another employee about how he instructs the mechanics to not fix anything else that the truck would need because he doesnt want to deal with the extra bull$hit. Then when he finally got to me said we are only doing a dot inspection and nothing else. Even though I called and specifically set up other issues with paclease. So now I have to call paclease again and hope they call here again. Horrible customer service. I love the peterbilt dealer/jx in eau Claire. Why cant they all be outstanding. Clearly this one is at the bottom of the customer service ladder.

Cant believe how many people I seen standing around everytime I went in there, and then it took 3 days to get my truck done, and after I paid for it and checked out the truck the problem still wasent fixed.
