Went here for an oil change because I needed a quick one during my break. They didn’t put my skid plate back on correctly. They didn’t put 4 out of the 6 screws back in, they didn’t clip it back on either as well as stripped one of the screws. I went back and told them they needed to fix it and the employees acted like they didn’t know I was there for an oil change prior to this happening and just zip tied it. One of the boys was there helping with my oil change and acted dumbfounded. The manager Cole called me back and told me that, he apologized which is did appreciate. Now I hope they will pay for it to be fixed like they said they would. $532 worth of fixed to do. Don’t recommend this place…

They removed a part of my vehicle and didnt put it back on. Then when I called them about it I was told I mustve lost it on the way home. This is the second time this has happened. It shouldnt cost you more money to use their services. Incompetent. I wont go back there.After one month off false promises to make this situation right and repair the damage they did to my car, it is now obvious that they will do nothing. They do not back up their service. Do not trust them with your vehicle! The cost of the damage will outweigh that oil change every time! Very frustrating and dishonest.

Funny enough - Im actually sitting in the bay right now. After a 40 minute wait in line outside - it was finally my turn for an oil change. I pulled in, they did their routine checks, tried to sell me all sorts of fancy services, then started the oil change. As of right now Ive been sitting here for about 23 minutes (according to their timer). No one has talked to me or done anything to the vehicle in about 10 minutes. Not sure what is going on. Lots of workers are just mulling around, hands in pockets, chatting with each other. They have been incredibly slow. I have no idea if there was a call in or if they are training new people. Officially looks like it has been 29 minutes for a simple oil change. Avoid this place if you can.

I have never used a drive in service before and they were amazing! They explained each step and werent pushy when I didnt do all the things 😁 I am definately coming back!

These people are awesome! They let me know a few issues I had with my tires that I wasn’t aware of, and a fuse blew in my car while I was there and they replaced it for me for free! Definitely recommend this place!

Way over priced. $95 for a oil change... Nope to the nope.

Usually are very good but i was there before 8 because they have it posted thatbthey open st 8. No one showed up until 820. Then another long wait inside while they had to organize their supplies. I was really disappointed today. Just not the same place that it was a month ago. Today bthe workers were all craby and looked like they just crawled out of bed. They need to be organized before they open the doors and they need to have the doors open for the hours that are posted.

Nice young men seemed to do a good job. But they do give you a checklist of everything they do. Such as reset engine oil life on the digital display on my dashboard. I guess easy mistake to forget but they checked it off as though they had done that. Digital display still says change engine oil. Just wondering if they checked everything else that they checked off that they said did on their list.Thats all. Other than that oil pressure regular and clean oil, and no leaks.

Worst service ever.

Got an oil change on my Nissan on 7/17, two days later the check engine light comes on and said the variable valve camshaft needed to be replaced. A problem that can occur when getting an improper oil change. Repaired the valve and the check engine light is still on. I thought maybe it was just a coincidence and decided to take my other vehicle in tonight 7/30 to get an oil change. I don’t know why I thought that was a good idea. Once the techs finished with my oil change they instructed me to start the vehicle. Well... my vehicle wouldn’t start. It wouldn’t even turn over. They said “well your battery died”, mind you, I have had ZERO problems with my battery and ZERO problems with BOTH of my vehicles prior to getting oil changes at this location. Doesn’t seem very coincidental to me. What is even more disappointing is that they take NO responsibility for it whatsoever. That’s is TWO vehicles in a two week period that now have issues after receiving a simple oil change. I should have believed other people’s horror stories. I have been using Valvoline my whole life and never had a bad experience. It’s just very concerning that two of my vehicles are now having problems. Oh, and now I have to pay a repair bill.I will NEVER return to a Valvoline again.

We bring 2 cars here and on one the crew broke off the top of the dipstick. The other they closed the hood on the battery cover and cracked it.

My girlfriend went in this afternoon. She had to wait 40 minutes to get in and then they told her they were out of her kind of oil and that she had to go all synthetic oil which would be $99 dollars after they gave her $15 off. Luckily she was smart enough to drive away. What kind of oil change place doesnt have 5W30? Such a scam! Beware of this place.

Awesome service. Younger men and women that work there, but they’re very knowledgeable, polite, and respectful. Never had a better experience for an oil change. They do military discounts as well. Will go back for my next oil change

Fast and friendly. I was happy they informed me that my truck needed factory recommend service of the 4-WD and the intervals/mileage for other major vehicle components. It didnt feel like an up sell but a genuine recommendation and informative conversation.

Best oil change in elk river. They got my oil changed the other day in 8 min. It was a new record. Helpful staff to. Although take some of the advice of the teens with a grain of salt. Managed well.

Order windshield washer fluid(Your store was out) refilling fluids is a basic part. If I hadnt ask the person would even have mentioned it to me. Didnt reset oil service light.

Fast, quick and easy. Mechanics know what they are doing, professional and fun to watch. They dont try to rip you off by doing pointless things but their services are a bit pricy. Around $60 for an oil change. But overall, would recommend.

Came to the place randomly and I will definitely come back. I drove a lot yearly and my van has 160K+ miles. I also side track on getting small stuff fixed in the previous check.Well, everything was taking care in less than an hour and I was well informed about price and work done to vehicle.What else can I ask for?

After taking my car here for a simple oil change I was told they couldnt get thecap off to change oil and that my MAF sensor was unplugged. Brought it across the street to The Shop, they were able to change oil no problem and let me know that you guys had stripped the bolt needed to come off the change the oil by using the wrong tools and ALSO that is was the AIR TAKE SENSOR that was unplugged not the MAF. Really would hope that you had more experience before being able to work in shop. Very Disappointed and will not be recommending or returning to your shop .

A1, top notch service from the Elk River Valvoline team! Valvoline is such a time-saver for me as its such an inconvenience to make an appt at a traditional garage for an oil change. With Valvoline, you just pull in any time you want (during hours of operation) and your oil change along with other services are done quickly and done well. I definitely recommend the Elk River Valvoline ..... give them a try .... nice, friendly service!

Very friendly and fast. Went in for an oil change and was out in fifteen minutes. Crew was very polite, and they answered all of my questions.

Very professional and helpful service. All other issues are thoroughly discussed and either allowed to fix or leave at my discretion. Tried to have a fog light fixed in the front bumper but mechanic could not fix due to the length of time to get at it. Not that it cant, I often do my own and this is a problem on this particular car. They did try and spent several minutes trying but added no extra charges on their time. Great service and will definitely continue my changes when time does not allow me. Winters are brutel to do your own in this state, unless you have a shop!!

Good oil change place. I like that theyre fast and they dont try to hard upsell you on every possible thing. If your filter is clean they dont try and sell you a new one. That seems to be rare among fast oil-change places.

Do their best to get you back on the road and last time I was there for an A/C tune up, they let me know it was my compressor and not the refrigerant. Didnt charge me for their time

Stopped in for a basic oil change and got exactly that. They didnt try to upsell me on the high mileage package or new wiper blades or air filter. They gave me exactly what I asked for with no pressure involved. This is my go to.

I was super happy with this Valvoline. Services beyond oil changes can get a little pricey, though, but I *really* needed windshield wiper replacement (and dont know how to do that myself!). The price quoted to me for new wipers was twice what Id pay to buy them at Walmart, but how to install??? I told my technician this story, and he heard me; he took $5 off my wiper cost. Now THAT is service, right? Right! And I love my new wipers! and my new oil change. :) Thanks, Valvoline!

The shop in Elk River is very good and they always try to do what they can for you.

Just before the 4th of July I had these guys service my transmission and differential fluids. A few days later I had my oil changed at a different service station. After the holiday weekend I noticed a slow leak on my driveway and thought maybe the transmission drain plug wasnt as tight as it should be. I took my truck in to have them check and they discovered that the other shop had left the oil filter gasket on when they replaced the filter. It turns out I was 2.5 quarts low on oil. These guys were nice enough to replace my filter and fill my oil at no charge. It wasnt their fault, but to make it right they essentially gave me a free oil change. Theyve earned my business going forward.
