I gave this place multiple opportunities. My recent visit will be my last. I went in for a pedicure and a fill with a change of color... My pedicure was given with minimum effort. Worst massage Ive had in a long time. Next, I asked for a yellow color and they only had two options for me to pick from and neither of which I wanted.... Next I compromised and switched the color for my manicure and asked for a Daisy to be drawn. Ill add a photo of my “daisy”... This place provides sloppy work.

I was a walk-in on October 6, 2021 and they took me in fast which was nice but unfortunately I felt so uncomfortable while getting my nails done. A man did them and he was sitting next to another nail lady who’s attitude was clearly seen while she was doing another’s girls nails. I want short nails and I wanted them from dark brown to light (Last photo is my inspo pic) they looked annoyed that I wanted this and even told me to “hurry up and pick a color because he had an other appointment”. The whole time I was there they spoke in there language and I know it was about their paying customers. I felt rushed and you can see this guy rushing to finish my nails. Also super expensive for a poor service and quality. I paid $53!!! NEVER Going here ever again.

Amazing service we got the volcanic spa pedicure and it did not disappoint. The boyfriend is a construction worker and had a little fungus on his toes, they cut it out and applied a special treatment, they look 100% better and are maintaining nicely. We will definitely be back

I literally got these nails done less than a week ago, the lady that did my nails was nice but she obviously did not know what she was doing. She used her nails to push my cuticles back so hard it hurt, and when I asked for a glitter ombré she did not know what she was doing at all, I knew she herself knew she messed up. I paid 126 out the door.

Don’t waste your time or money here. I went in on Friday to get a set for my upcoming wedding. By Saturday nails we’re all ready starting to lift off my nail bed. The guy doing my nails didn’t prep them AT ALL, he removed my nail polish, clipped my nails and just started putting the acrylic on. Next I showed him pictures of what I wanted. He did let me choose what exact colors I wanted. He just did it and they don’t look like what I wanted. He cut 3 of my fingers while filing, and my fingers are SO SORE after. Now I have to go spend more money to get these ones fixed.

Worst nail spa I’ve ever been to. My nails did not turn out the way I hoped. The girl that did my nails, gave me a gel pedicure without asking me even though I asked for a “basic pedicure”. For my full set, she pulled out “dip powder” when I requested acrylic. When I asked her about it, she basically said it was better and proceeded without verifying if that was what I wanted. I didn’t feel comfortable telling her otherwise as I felt I didn’t have an option. One finger was completely crooked/slanted and I pointed it out. I asked her to replace it, instead she added more powder to it. She didn’t seem happy about it. The shapes of my nails were not what I wanted or showed her a picture of. Overall, a very frustrating experience and paying almost $100. Will not be returning. The first picture is what I showed her for the shape. The second picture was what I walked out with.

I will not be returning i paid for a spa manicure and she was done in about 25 minutes i got it done july 1st and and its only the 5th and is it cracking and peeling, this is a gel polish 😞

Never going back. I made an appointment and still had to wait almost an hour for a pedicure. Dont accept my appointment if you dont have space! My polish didnt look good either, sloppy work. The guy made the water way to hot for everyone around me like it was on purpose. They charged more for gel without letting us know. Just overall bad. I only went here because its a big salon with lots of chairs and since I made an appointment, I thought I would get seen at that time.

Customer service here was not so great for me : (I felt like I was a burden by the way I was treated.The nail tech was very pushy and cold towards me. I felt uncomfortable, she asked me what I wanted rudely and rolled her eyes at me. She was pushing me to do the most expensive type of service constantly. I will definitely not return. First and last time here.

Let me tell you baby this is by far the best pedicure place I have found in Sacramento. I dont know about any of the other ladies but Lisa is the best. I have ingrown toes nails and she got them out of both feet while taking her time and making sure she didnt hurt me. For the first time ever not only did I not feel a thing my toes dont hurt. The other nail tech Lilly was very nice, professional and helpful as well. Now dont start calling up here asking for Lisa because I need my appointments monthly.

The manager Louis/Lewis is a horrible manager and needs to fired. Horrible customer service from Louis; didn’t care. The lady who did my pedicure messed up on painting 3 times, did not give a Volcano pedicure, and almost forgot to scrub my feet. The manicurist sucked at doing ombré. The only good manicurist is CeCe the other aren’t good.

Got an ingrown on my left toenail and got over charged. I was very disappointed because that was my first time getting a pedicure. I had ingrown before and it hurts, so I usually cut my own toenails and haven’t had any ingrown problems for 7+ years. After getting my pedicure, I went to pay for it. The lady who did my pedi wrote $53 on the receipt, which is my total. The guy charged me and extra $53 it came out to $106. They had a hard time trying to refund back the extra $53 that he charged me. I’m not sure why he even charged me $106 when clearly it says $53 on the receipt that the lady who did my pedi wrote it. I went home and my left toe started to hurt. On the side of my left toe was pink and a little bit swollen. I got my pair of clippers and clipped it out because I know leaving it will just get worse.

Came in to do a gel manicure on 2/19/21 .. was told to do the dip powder since it was better quality and would last me longer than gel, told her I was fine and still wanted the gel but she insisted so I caved for the quality, it is now two days later I haven’t done anything but drive this weekend and two of my nails have a crack I didn’t even get to enjoy them. My left hand was done great the right hand just wasn’t done correctly at all. So bummed about this. Will update with the photo later.

I had called last week to make an appointment for today (Saturday) for a full powder dip set along with a pedicure. Not sure who I had spoken with. Just know it was with a lady. I had asked for the 1st available appt which she then asked if 9AM would work. Told her yes peferct! And what do you know no one here available for my appt at 9AM and the lady who answered the back door was trying to close the door on me (mind you Im 7months pregnant) because she wasnt trying to argue when simply was trying to get an answer as in what is the purpose of an appointment, etc. Only reason I first decided to come here was because of the good reviews and because Covid caused the shop I normally go to temporarily close. And this is something needed for my sisters wedding. So far being this is my first visit in this shop and it has been by far the worst experience and I do not plan on coming back here again after today!I just hope the service is better whenever they decide to start.. will come back to update.UPDATE: Not the best service. Only received my pedicure and left. After seeing the rush worked done on my pedi.. with bits of nail polish left on around my toes.. I could only imagine on a full set. Plus the lady doing my pedi stated I would have the full set done right after to then having her answer changed that I would still need to wait 20 mins. And being told that my appt was at 10 and not 9. When I was never once informed of this time changed if so then I wouldnt of never showed up for my 9am appt that I was first orginally informed of.Whoever is responsible of booking or whoever i had spoken too needs to learn to communicate with one if the time is going to be changed. I will NOT come back again and I definitely will NOT recommend this location to anyone. Trust me, you can find by far better service, friendliness and professionalism else where.FYI this place does not inform you that it is a cash only place. Until comes time to paying. Bad communication once again!

So I went to the snow slime a few times and the last time I went I took my daughter to get her nails done too. Usually my nails is done by the guy but this time a woman did them and now my natural nails are totally ruined! I don’t know what message she did but whatever she did as my nails coming up from the nail bed . I will definitely be going back, but to complain

Was a walk in, came in for a mani/pedi with a friend. The lady who did my manicure filled down my natural nail whilst my friend got the gel from her nails removed with foil. My nails began chipping after 5 days. I had a basic manicure but the only thing I got was gel & cuticle oil, no lotion or massage, whilst my friend had the correct procedure done with no rush. Do not try to fit just anyone in, anywhere. Felt rushed and unenjoyable. My pedicure was a better experience (not rushed and satisfying) although he cut my nails uneven.Wont be returning, hectic place, unprofessional and unorganized.

Love coming here, the inside is beautiful and calming they offer many things such as pedicures, eyebrow trimming and even eyelash extensions. This is my go to spot, rose does a great job . My only reason I gave 4/5 stars is sometimes some staff seem kind of rude to customers I was next to a lady who kept trying to tell her nail technician what color she wanted how she wanted it etc and when she tried to talk, the technician would talk over and tell her to wait and it would turn out fine meanwhile Technician was making phone calls and talking whole time ignoring her customer. Ive seen a little other staff here and there do small things but it was very unprofessional of the lady. Other than that my nails always come out cute

Rose was very rude and unprofessional. When I asked her a question about my nails she said I know what doing. Then she got mad and no.longer wanted to do my nails because, I said can you please answer me.

They dont listen to what the client wants. I said multiple times JUST GEL, and the employee ripped my nails apart and trimmed them down until they were bleeding, and slaps glue on them for fake nails before I noticed what she was doing (nothing was labeled). Then proceeded to put the unwanted nails on crooked and paint them terribly.Do NOT go here.

The last time I was their it as to take off my nail to give my hands a rest. And get a basic manicure. What I got was an overly priced manicure. I could tell something rude was said about me. It didnt take a rocket science to figure out that she was saying some negative things about me, from expression on her coworkers faces and others that work there. I will never forget that experience. Maybe this review will help them to adjust there attitudes and realize that the public is paying for a professional service and not to be humiliated, even if its in another language.

Went in for a pedicure — as far as cleanliness and ambiance, this place is up to par. Very nice decor and I love that they open new packs of tools that have been sanitized for each patron. My only drawback is the technicians rushing through the services. The prices are decent and they offer an assortment of services.

I called around 11ish to make an appointment and it was with Tracy for 1:30PM I drive about 45 mins away from this location to get a pedicure and since covid happened you have to make appointments. I called Tracy and she said “oh I thought I called and texted you your appointment is pushed to 2:30” and I was explained to her she didn’t call/text me and let me know she started being very rude and gave a lot of attitude then said your appointment is canceled and hung up on me. I called Lily and she was very friendly and said the earliest she can do is 4PM. Super unprofessional. Tacky. Waste of time. I came here because you were top rated and this was a complete waste of time.

I drive all the way from natomas to go here. This place is beautiful and clean. This is the only place I have ever gone where I have been consistently satisfied with my eyebrows, fingers and toes. I highly recommend trying them out. Be kind to your technician and tip graciously

I absolutely love Venus Nails! This place meets alldemands as nail salon in my dream. I don’t have any complaint about their service. They’re wonderful with convenient and outstanding equipment about quality. Every service is great each time. I got basic manicure and shellac pedicure and both results make me satisfied. The ladies here are so funny and good at their job. Jenna is the typical simple. She’s very talented and always creates excellent outcome which almost clients are convinced. The owner is also praiseworthy. She is so professional and responsible because she always takes care of their employees. Thanks for the amazing experience here each time and  5 stars definitely! Will come back for sure and become royal customer!

My wife and kids love this place, and so do I. The nail spa is beautifully built with amble space and really focus on customers experience. I extremely like how they organize the space to make it so private and relaxing. This is definitely not a typical nail spa, but an extraordinary place to refresh our body and mind after a long working day. Excellent!

A lovely nails salon!! Had an amazing time in here!!! I got myself the spa manicure and it was great! Really relaxing and refreshing on a whole. The tech used a special cream that felt amazing, and my arms skin felt really smooth and clean!! The color looked so cute and my nail design was so different and creative! I was totally impressed!! Not to mention the decent price they offered with such a luxury package like this!! The store looked clean and bright and well organized! Anyway i really enjoyed this experience. Hopefully i can come back again soon

My daughter and her friends went here to get their nails done. Maybe because its a bunch of teenagers, no adults, the workers rushed the girls thru. My daughters cuticles werent trimmed at all. When she asked for them to be cleaned up, they were going to charge her an extra $5! RIDICULOUS!

Spa pedicure with heated stones and wax booties. Cindy does an excellent job of pampering me every time. Soaking bowls have a disposable liner, new tools each time, clean and safe.

The lady rushed though my pedicure. Left the corners of my most of my nails unpainted. Did an ok job at best. Take you money somewhere else.

Get my nails done every few weeks here always by a different person and they do a great job every time! They are very friendly and shop is always looking nice.

Great experiences here today. I had Spa Pedicure done by Vincent and i was completely satisfied with his amazing works. He surely knew what he was doing and took time to do the jobs right. He gave me a really nice looking nails at reasonable prices. The atmosphere here was also very nice and relaxing with plenty of high quality modern tools and equipment. I will definitely be coming back!

I had an appointment for 4 people at 1:00 on a Saturday. They were not ready for us. They seated 3 of us at 1:30. Unfortunately they didn’t have enough people to accommodate us. We requested the Spa pedicure. They rushed through our pedicures and cut our time short but, insisted we received a Spa pedicure. I was embarrassed because I had given my sisters and mom a gift certificate for a 40 minute Spa pedicure for Christmas. I will not go back to their establishment nor would I recommend it to others.

Very nice place, it’s also very clean. As far as customer service they need to work on it. From my experience you’re never greeted when you walk in unless you try and talk to someone first. And the last time I went I came with an appointment, and I made sure with the technician that id be able to get help at the time of the appointment cuz I did have somewhere else to be after so I made sure that I’d be able to get help and done in time. So it was disappointing having to wait and I eventually had to leave without getting anything done after being reassured that they can fit my in during the day. If you don’t have time for the appointment ON TIME then don’t make one and lead a customer to believe they’d be helped and taken care of at the time of the appointment.

This was my first time at this salon and Christina did my nails beautifully and just as I asked her to do. Donna did my pedicure wonderfully both of them were very detailed and took their time. I will be coming back here forever!

One star only for how the place looks, luxurious and spacious.As far as a gel manicure, perhaps it depends on the person you see, but the worker who did my gel manicure was not good. She seemed rushed as she was constantly on her phone, taking a call and texting her next client to come in at a later time. Since her client said she cannot come in later, my gel manicure was poorly done and is chipping off when only a week has passed by. I was duped into relying on reviews here, but check Yelp first for the pictures of how actual customers nails have been done. Save your time and find another nail shop.

This was my go to place for so many years. Even when I was living in Citrus Heights for a short period time, I still went out of my way to go to this shop because I loved the quality and price. I had stopped going for some time to try to save up money and eventually started going back and the quality changed. I tried going back a couple more times but the staff didn’t seem as friendly and the quality wasn’t as good anymore. Not sure what happened but I stopped going because I didn’t care for the direction they had gone.

I have never been to a place where they did such a thorough job and cleaning my toes and shaping them. They really take there time and clean your toes. Very impressed. Halie is amazing. Thank you

I had my nails done at another Elk Grove salon. I am going to Hawaii and wanted some nail art done. It was a mistake to not verify that they had an ARTIST available to do what I wanted. After leaving with disappointing results, I searched online to see what salon could handle my request. Venus Nails on Stockton Blvd. was the overwhelming choice. Im short on time and called to see if they could fit me in. They were so accommodating and said they could get me in same day. I went in and Jon got to work on my nails art. I showed him all of the pictures I had saved on Pintrest and he said no problem. He easily and quickly drew all of my flowers and tropical leaves. I was so impressed and beyond grateful. They are my new salon.

They remodeled and WOW!!!!! Its the nicest nail salon I have seen! The llace is laid out perfectly and really classy! Thjs is worth every penny. The ladies are very polite and do a really good job

I went to this place a couple weeks ago. They did not remove my old color just put polish over it. The tech also ground into one of my nail beds. The color was fine but one of the tips broke off and nails were short. Also tech didnt have me wash my hands until I was done. Theyre supposed to have you wash before polish. I paid with a card and was told I couldnt tip with it. The tech said to go to the atm next door. Its Wells Fargo. I dont bank with them. I would get charged a fee for using their ATM machine. I didnt tip and they dont do a good job. NOT going back.

I LOVE this place! I never have gotten my nails done here, but I always get my eyebrows done here about once a month DONNA is amazing and she never has messed up on me once! DONNA is very kind and great at doing my brow and we have come back to only her at least 6-8 times. If your looking for a wax job DONNA is the ONE.

I would give 0 stars if I could. I came in just for 1 nail repair. The nail tech who helped me was rushing through and instead of listening to me just drenched my finger and skin in glue and when I asked her to please fix the shape of my nail since it was wavy and looked awful she said no its fine, I want to go home, I wont charge you thats when I grabbed my bag and walked out. Your only job is customer service and this place fails. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE. I WILL CONTINUE TO TAKE MY BUSINESS TO POLISH BOX!

They are great at taking walk ins with little wait time. The remodel going on was a bit noisy but will be awesome once its done. Always a pleasant experience .

I find that this salon has a lot of updated colors. An I like how they made my flitter full set. It was this nice pink powder at the bottom then this nice color of nude glitter. The tech did a great job a really great talent. Lisa is just amazing with my pedicure. I loved how she made me laugh. And has the nicest smile made me feel very comfortable. I highly recommend if you are around the area its top-notch!!

Newly Remodeled. Luxurious and relaxing. The best pedicures on Elk Grove. I get my nails powered dipped, wax and pedicures. Alice and Anna are my usuals. I recently had my nails done by Wilson. He did a great job. It’s a quiet and safe environment. Free from children and ghetto activities.

Today, I went to get my nails done and I really impressed that they have such an experience worker like Vincent. He did an amazing job on my shellac manicure. They had such a wide variety of colors as well. I really enjoyed my over all experience.

I told the woman that did my nails multiple times that I didnt want gel. I mentioned that I didnt want gel and it would be fine if the nail polish came off early. When I said it she had the understanding that I didnt want gel (I said 3+ times that I didnt want gel).After paying $25 instead of $15 (I didnt know I was being charged the $25 till after I received my receipt) I asked why it was $25 and she stated that she put gel on my nails. I couldnt get my money back so here I am. I will never come back here again.

This is my second time going. Much better than the first. They got me seated very quickly even though I didnt have an appointment. I got John and he was very friendly. My nails came out amazing and where a good price. I got a full set of acrylics with gel color. The first time I got seated quickly but the lady was very quiet and only spoke to the other workers and my nails were lumpy and not cleaned very well. Really recommend John!

Went here on a recommendation from a regular customer for a pedicure. Cindy ended up being my tech. She did a great job on my pedi with gel polish.The place was in the middle of a remodel, so it was kind of hectic and a little crowded. Hopefully this will resolve itself once the facelift and new areas are completed.

I have thin nails and went in for a gel manicure to keep my nails growing long and strong. It was busy and the owner called in someone who lives 10 minutes away. This lady rushed in, was on her cell phone while my fingers were soaking then proceeds to file and rough up my nail bed making my nails even thinner! The gel polish was put on quick and sloppy leaving some areas with a thick coat of polish, which peaked off in a couple of days and also made my nails look deformed. This place had good ratings and right by my house...I was hoping this could be a place I could treat myself regularly for mani/pedi☹

Nail technicians were very rude. They were talking very negatively about the owner, customers and coworkers. The technician cut corners by not drilling down the thickness on the new powder added for my fill so my nails look ridiculous. Wont be going back.

Went to this place on Sunday Aug 19th. When I went in I was greeted. I sat down with Lily as a walk in. Getting a full set put on she grinded my nails, put the fake nails on and then cut them to small length as requested. I was then greeted by Christina a different nail tech. They said the walk-in rotation was off and that Christina was supposed to do my nails. So to her table I went. Nails got finished. When observing the fill isnt all the way back to cuticle, nail polish isnt covering full nail. I had rhinestones put on, 1 is off centered. Needless to say, today is Wednesday Aug 22nd and my pinky nail broke off. Mind you my nails are short length. Nothing major, but I broke off. Its only been 3 days. I got gel as usual and I am very disappointed. I will not be going back to this place in the future. I hope your experiences are better then mine!
