I booked with True online but John ended up doing my nails. He was rude, aggressive, and as soon as I sat down he told me I only had one hour so pick something quick. I ended leaving extremely dissatisfied. After cutting my nails too short he ripped the tips off to reapply. Throwing things, snatching my hand. I had to ask him to stop being so rough. I regret not just walking out! I paid $145 on my BIRTHDAY (pedicure included) to end up with mediocre nails. I thought my toes would be pearl white but came out silver (I chose not to change them because of timing). Apparently all new clients get handed off to the main person who obviously doesnt want to be there and has zero customer service or people skills... John.True was very sweet and tried to be helpful while working on other clients. Such a shame I couldnt experience her work. I dont mind paying whatever the price but I dont like feeling ripped off.

True seemed very sweet and professional, but John was extremely rude and made me very uncomfortable. I only gave two stars because I did think my nails turned out okay but I would give 0 stars for my experience. I usually get my nails done in Glasgow because they are great and treat you like family. I was trying to find a place closer to home but this place made me change my mind about that. John complained about the way I held my hands for him (I’ve never had complaints before and I get my nails done every two weeks), he huffed and puffed at me, rolled at his eyes at me, threw his file down when he was done, was on his phone the whole time, etc. Should maybe consider a job where you don’t work with the public because he is not a people person whatsoever.

Ive been getting my nails done by True and John literally for the last ten years. Ive followed them to three different nail salons and Im always happy with my results. John always does what he can to create a design that I have envisioned, even if he has never done it before. They are both incredibly friendly. The salon is very cozy and clean.I cannot recommend True and John enough.

Today was my first visit with True and John. John did an excellent job! I absolutely love my nails and will definitely be returning!

This would be the second time going to True and John and I love it. the first time I went to them I didnt know they were appointment only but True got me in on that same day. Since than I been going back. The atmosphere is perfect..Shop is small but I dont mind that..

I came here for the first time on Saturday because of all the good reviews. I will not be back. My nails are rushed, and all different lengths. The guy who did them was not friendly. He did not say a single word to me but instead kept watching videos on his phone while doing my nails. He did not use base coat, or the proper top coat with my gel polish, and now it’s already chipping off in little chunks after just 2 days while I’m on my anniversary trip. Waste of money. I only tipped because I feel bad if I don’t, but this wasn’t a good experience.

I came to this place a couple times. And thats when I realized talking to other people that they are way too expensive. I have acrylic nails they charge me extra to trim them. I can only imagine if I want them painted how much extra they would charge for that. Not to mention the underneath part will your real nail starting to grow in They did not trim it down. I have a new place that Im going to now that charged me 17 and that was for the filling the trim cutting it down And painting them. Where is they charged me 25 and that didnt even include painting them

The atmosphere is clean and comfortable and have a wide selection of colors, styles, as well as designs to choose from - all for a good price.Plus they take thier time and won’t rush you out until the job is done right. Very accommodating. A friend had told me about the salon and I ended up being a walk-in. They usually go by appointments. John did my nails and that came out looking wonderful. They do a lot of design work and Im looking forward to getting some done in the future. John and True are both very friendly. I will be going back.

My regular nail salon was closed today and I was in desperate need of a fill and a repair. After reading reviews, I decided to go to Tru & Johns. I called and was told I could come right in.The shop is so cute and cozy. I think what I enjoy most is that I didnt have to sit and wait while numerous other people went before me, like at most salons. There are only 2 chairs available, but that was what I liked most. I will definitely use them again.

Walked in this morning figuring that they are probably booked. Showed True what I wanted done with my nails and she made me an appointment for the afternoon. Very friendly, creative, and wonderful. Love my nails!!

True and John are wonderful. Very professional. I have had my nails done by dipping and most recently french manicure with gel polish. I highly recommend True and John Nails.

They need to pay more attention to the pedicures and not double book clients, it makes them feel rushed.

Went to True & John for a wedding shellac mani and pedi. My mani is great, my pedi on the other hand chipped within 4 hours. Since I got my pedi on Friday, 2 of my toenails have half of the polish missing. I paid $85 (including $10 tip) and am very disappointed that this has messed up already. I had gotten a pedi at the Towne mall nail salon 3 weeks prior and they were perfect before coming to this shop.
