The Houston Texas Office is excellent. They were professional, organized, and reasonably priced. Greg Rupert went above and beyond for me as a client in a difficult situation. The same can be said for Johnny Peeks and the moving crew. The packers were excellent as well. I had roughly 14,000 lbs of move including a baby grand piano and two motorcycles moving from a two story house into a storage facility 1000 miles away in a different state. All went exactly as planned with frequent calls and texts updating me and checking in on me personally. I will always be grateful to the group of individuals who worked with me on this move. They were truly serious professionals and kind during a difficult time.

A1 Freeman movers in El Paso stored our HHG shipment from out of state until we arrived to base. The day we arrived they were available to make the delivery, and came on time. The team was very friendly, professional, and did an excellent job. I would highly recommend them, and gladly use them in the future. Would gladly give a higher review if possible.

If i could give this place a 0 rating i would! I placed an order from ikea 7/26, it was supposed to be delivered to me 8/31 btw 9am-9pm. Order never arrived, however it was labeled “delivered” on ikea web page that same day. I call and ask why my order was labeled “delivered” if i still had not gotten it, and they told me that my order was “attempted” to be delivered, but that i “refused” to get it. Then ikea calls to see what happened, and they tell me that they dont know why my order was labeled delivered, when in fact it was actually still at the warehouse waiting to be picked up. I call back a week later and they tell me that my order is in el paso with a1freeman, but that i have to wait until monday to call during business hrs. I call monday, and “Becky” lets me know that they have my order but that they are fully booked for monday & tuesday delivery. She also tells me that they were not able to deliver it bc i was missing items from the order. I let her know that those missing items were cancelled by me the week before and I let her know that i was not pleased at the way my order has been handled nor do i appreciate the lack of communication and Becky very rudely proceeds to tell me that “ that is not their problem and that i need to take that over with Ikea” i ask to have my order delivered first available opening they have, assuming it would be btw wed-frid of that week and Becky tells me that she will call me by the end of the week. I ask her to escalade my call to someone above her and the office manager was extremely rude! I dont even know how this person calls herself an office manager! She has absolutey no customer service skills and was very rude as well, letting me know the same thing, that she could not give me an exact delivery time because she didnt know, but that if i wanted to go pick up my order myself at their el paso location, to do so, and that it was not Beckys fault! Like seriously? I did end up going personally to their location and getting my order myself. I dont even know why i paid $49 in shipping if i ended up picking up the order myself. Anyways, once i arrived my stuff was just loose and all over the place. Luckily nothing was missing nor broken, but my stuff was just handed to me without any packaging. Worst experience ever! I really dont know why ikea would hire these people to deliver my order, i will be escalading this issue with ikea as well.

We move every 2years and this makes our 9th move, after being in the service for 33years, this is by far the best moving crew we ever had. The 2 ladies, Doris, Birdie for all 3 days and 1 male Justin for 1day were absolutely amazing these past 3 days! They were on time, moved quickly and smoothly, packed carefully and very much sweet and professional! If there are more stars to give I would rate them the highest! Great job to this crew!

The crew that was sent to pack and move my home were both accommodating and responsive to my concerns and special requests regarding the pack out of my delicate items. They were professional and courteous at all times. If the crews weren’t sure about how something dis-assembled they asked.The only downside to the whole process was that I was not notified until the day prior that the company wanted two days to box and package everything. This could have been remedied by the surveyor notifying me at the time he came to get a packing estimate.

If I could give a million star review I would! I just called them with a dilemma. We purchased a commercial refrigerator that will be placed in our garage. It was delivered yesterday on a pallet but its too tall to fit in through our garage door. Its currently sitting outside and theres an 80% chance of rain today! I called and spoke to Angie and explained my problem and that we need help getting this 436 pound fridge into the garage. She asked me to send her my information and a picture. She got right back with me and said she would be able to send 3 guys this afternoon to help me out. She is doing it for an extremely fair price and she did it for me on just a few hours notice. I was so very impressed with their service and genuine concern for me and my issue! I would recommend you call them first if you need help with moving.UPDATE: The three gentlemen who were sent to help me move my items just left my home. They were kind, professional and told me more than once that they would take care of everything and that they were here for me. They did more than I even asked them to do and not only that, they took away all the cardboard and trash, and put items they had to move back to where they were before they left. I have never been so impressed by a company and their service as I was today. They had everything done within an hour. Highly, highly recommend.

Im a military member, I was stationed at Fort Bliss. I was moving to another base. No issues with the packing. During the pick up my wall was scratched (photos) they attempted twice to fix it by painting (made it worse) then I had to chase them to fix it. No one answered my phone calls. After I contacted my transportation officr is when they called me back promisising to fix a whole week passed by and nothing was done. I had to get my property manager to get it fix, so I can rent my property and I had to pay out of my pocket to get it fix. The damage was done on 9 oct and it was 29 oct and it was not fixed. Im waiting on my property manager to send me the bill so I can try to get reimburstment, I not getting my hopes up. This company has a poor customer service when it comes to damages.

I placed an Ikea order on May 27, 2020. Items were received by A-1 Freeman the week of June 22. A-1 Freeman has held one to my order for several weeks. I spoke to Angie who refused to give me an answer as to when my order would be delivered we will call you when we call you was her only response. Im a healthcare worker and Im unable to take time off of work. This coming company has held my packages hostage an offer no resolution or answer as to when it will be delivered. I will be escalating this to the better business bureau and disputing the charge. Angie was rude, condescending and completely unprofessional.

Package was due to be delivered on 22 Jun, ordered in First week of May. No call, I called them on 24 Jun they said guaranteed delivery on Saturday 27 June. I called on 26 June, delivery confirmation was that the package would not be delivered on 27 June as promised by Becky via voicemail. No forecasted delivery date. Horrible customer service. Even erroneously reported that the items arrived on the 22nd, but I had already confirmed with the company that they arrived on the 19th. I can deal with delays, but dont assume that Im calling without the pertinent info and please do your customers the service of contacting them if you cant meet the timeline youve provided. The packers do a decent job, but their ultimate goal is to pack. A-1 Movers completed my move today, 2 days packing, 1 day loading. I had the best experience with them in 7 moves. They were very considerate, when we had left our spare keys in a drawer, they pulled them aside, that was a first in all my moves. They left our beds for the last day so we didnt have to sleep on air mattresses. If there was any doubt or question, they asked. I greatly appreciated these movers because you always forget to put aside a few things and they get packed. This is the first time I am leaving with everything and nothing was accidentally packed.

Phenomenal is the first word that comes to mind when I think about my experience with A-1 Freeman. I could not have asked for a less stressful moving experience than the one I received with this company.
